Oh, I wish I'd seen this before packing and going to Paris 2024 olympics! Having 3 traveling days (from Finland to Germany to Paris and back to Finland), only 1 day "in between" and 4 days of The Games, this would have been helpful. But I hope there are more trips to come😅 Thanks for your videos!❤

Interesting - I am going to try this. My biggest concern is the travel day. I am leaving Canada in November and arriving in Mexico. I will need cold weather clothes leaving but will not utilise them while away. This will be interesting to try.

It’s hard to take advice from somebody who has half of their shirt jacked up in the front at the beginning of the video. I know someone told you that this was a look. Yeah, it’s a look like somebody needs to help you either tuck your shirt in or leave it out.

I love your method! Except I have to add 3 outfits for an ambiguous 😂 European destination wedding ..so there's 3 different special occasion outfits I need to pack also. I'm going to use your method for the rest of my packing! We are traveling for 10 days before meeting up for the wedding.

What brand of carry on suitcase do you recommend? I’m packing for a 10 day biking trip that requires “ smart clothing for evening” and three days of just touring days! ( every day clothes)Yikes can I do that with carry on!

I am really surprised you didn’t pack more shorts and tanks. In Europe in the summer it can be so hot and they don’t do ac like we do in the states. Just curious if you have any regrets about what you packed for this trip?

Lol absolutely both. Some things work better rolled, others work better folded. And if I'm trying to prevent wrinkles, I lay out all my tops flat, stacked, smooth it out, and roll the stack around something else (like pants or a packable jacket) and just stuff the giant roll into whatever travel bag I'm using lol

So i just tested this for myself. I think because my size is extra large, the fold worked better for almost all my clothes with the exception of my bras. Lol. Rolling was far bulkier even using my Tripped compression cubes.

I pack my suitcase accordingly to the brown family or the black family. Which is brown purse with gold jewelry and earth tones colors. Black family is black shoes/ boots Black purse/tote with silver jewelry. I’ve been doing this for about 3 years and I have plenty of room to bring back souvenirs. My backpack has one outfit in case I have to change which is going to be leggings and a t shirt, I wear leggings/t shirt on travel days. If I have to pack a heavy coat I drape it over my arm and use it as a blanket in the plane

Negative people no need to trash an idea. Come up with a suggestion instead. The ideas are clear and easy to follow. I love this system and it has taken the confusion out of having piles of mismatched clothes on the bed. You can always cull them back later. Wish I had that rack to hang it all onto. Have subscribed because so enjoyed the Japan trip video. Well done!

Ive actually heard getting shoulder checked is not uncommon. Specifically more common for women who are/ seem to be alone.

Going to try packing like this for my upcoming 30 day trip to South Africa. Includes a 21 day motorcycle tour, general sight-seeing before and after (and safari), and wine tasting. It's spring in Cape Town but 30+Celsius in Vic Falls. Just bought packing cubes to use for the first time as well. Wish me luck!

One Liter is LARGER than One Quart. 1 Liter is equal to 1.06 quarts. Please, the whole world already thinks Americans are incredibly lame for being the only that doesn't use metric. I'm an Engineer, I travel often . . . it is so true that Europeans think most Americans are mathematically challenged.

I'd like to see you pack the cubes into soft sided luggage (not clam shell design) to see if you can get everything to fit equally as well.

I weigh every item I plan to take, and if two things are contenders, the lightest weight one goes into the suitcase. I take one pair of flats if I need to dress up a bit. And they double as my slippers. I only take a few pair of undies because I wash out underwear every night in my hotel. I tend to pick a main color and make sure everything can be worn with it. And since I travel solo, I make sure that a summer suitcase only weights max 22 lb and in winder, around 28. I have to be able to manage my own luggage at all times.

So many clothes...too much but glad it works for you.😊

I have a question! I tried to look at the reviews on Amazon with no avail! And since you actually respond I thought I would ask YOU! Are any of the bags (more specifically the laundry bag) water proof or resistant? I was thinking of using it for a bag to hold ice for the beach. I know they’re not coolers! lol. Buutttt it would be handy if I could use it for that. I feel like one of the bags were kinda mentioned to use it for your swim suit so that’s what gave me the idea. Obviously it will leak some buuuutttt if it’s not too much then it would be a great idea! Wouldn’t want to use it AFTER I put laundry in it though! Obviously lol Thank you!!!!

Hi! Hope you loved your trip. You mentioned merino wool shirt. I’d really like to find a couple of classic t-shirts and long sleeved merino wool tops. Not logo’d but ones I can dress up with cute shoes, or wear with my leggings on a more athletic day. Any recommendations on merino brands you love? Also, thoughts on merino blends? I love to pack VERY light so really want some merino in my wardrobe. Thank you!!!
