Great as always nate!!! Idk if you would want to do this but i would absolutly love a now and then piano tutorial!! This new song was just minf blowing and the piano part just sounds so satisfying
I can actually play this although I learned it a different way. I am excited to adopt your version. It may be easier and sound better than my version. Keep up the excellent work
Nice tutorial. You could probably make a tutorial on just about every song from the White Album. A lot of them lend themselves well to piano. Two songs they I think would be really cool to do would be Dear Prudence and While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
Hey! I'm using an AKG condenser mic...it's an old discontinued model but it's nothing super special. I'm recording into logic pro and i've got a bit of compression, a short slap delay, and reverb for effects. But in the case of this video --and I suspect this is a large part of the sound you're responding to -- I double-tracked my vocals.
I love that you did "The long and winding road". Would you ever consider doing "Golden Slumbers" or "You never give me your money". Im the ultimate Beatle nut. I know every song. All 250+
There are few Beatles songs I wouldnt consider doing! Golden Slumbers has been on my list for ages, but others keep jumping the line. Slowly but surely, I will hit much of their catalogue.
Hey, Nate. You should check out "Now and then" by John Lennon. There are two versions. One just released by the remaining two Beatles created with AI to cleanup the old demo cassette tape made by John in 1977, and the other version is the original done by John with no modern cleanup. I would love to learn that song. It would be difficult to do since the original recording from 1977 is poor quality. Both versions are amazing. Its wonderful content for any Beatles nuts like myself. I love all your Beatles tutorials. By far my favorites. Of course every tutorial you make is great. I enjoy them all. Even songs I dont know. Im going to attempt to learn your version of "Im so tired". It is much better than the version I learned. The one I learned is more simple. Ill practice your version today.
Nate, I also I don’t remember this song, as usual you break it down to easy to follow sections. Love your channel and have learned so much from you, Many thanks. "And I love her" has a great melody could that transfer from guitar to piano?
Thanks! This was always one of my favorites on the White Album, I didn't realize until now that it's pretty unknown (for a beatles song, at least) And I love her is on my list! I need to figure out how I want to arrange the rhythms for solo piano, it's a little tricky. It's got that key change as well
One thing I do on my cover. Im a beginner so I dont know if its proper. The part where it goes "no, no, no". I play DFC, DFB, and then DFA in the right hand with a D bass note in the left hand. Just an experiment.
Heyyy Nate!! I love the Beatles but I don’t remember this song.,. However this is another amazing tutorial. It is very easy to follow as usual. The details that you show are great!!! You have a great approach Nate. Great cover at the end !! 😀🎶👍
Thanks Charlie!! This was always one of my favorites on the White Album growing up, but I've been surprised to learn it's relatively unknown (as far as Beatles songs go)
Hey I don’t know if you added it to your list or if you don’t want to. But just to clarify I’ll ask once more lol. Could you do Ben Platt’s version of Corner Of The Sky please ❤

Another great one. Any chance you can tell us what mic and voice effects setup you are using?

YES! That sounds great. There is a guitar part that does that little melody on the recording. You've got a good ear :)

Hi nate
Hi 👋
I think this song is a little tongue in the cheek you might say......being a John song.
Hey I don’t know if you added it to your list or if you don’t want to. But just to clarify I’ll ask once more lol. Could you do Ben Platt’s version of Corner Of The Sky please ❤
This is a cool piano song! I don't think I'll end up doing it though. I appreciate the request!
Okay thanks for letting me know ❤
