Yeah that just makes it weird. I don’t want an exact copie of Whitney Houston to portray her, a lookalike. I want an actress that at least slightly resembles her physically but that manages to nail the EMOTIONS that Whitney exhaled. Naomi did that 100% right. Her speaking voice? UGH AMAZING. Her mannerisms??? Especially at the national anthem or when doing the home live scene?? LITERALLY PERFECTION
if the pacing was not so rushed and the script was better, this would’ve been one of the best biopics ever
