Gears aside, I've been following u since long ago and looking at your life's improvements and changes just kept me moving. I've started doing my own thing in music and video production up till I got some placement even tho I'm stuck oversea due to Cov but yeah, still remember the days I used to look up on your channel everytime I'm checking out some lenses to buy. Anyway, cheers and keep doing what u doing!
Cute little gimbal. I'm loving the Stormtrooper design and the built in light and mic inputs are clever.
Prices in Europe are € 399 for the Standard Pack which includes the gimbal, mini tripod and light filters, € 489 for the Combo pack that gives you the cute backpack and € 699 for the Pro pack which has the microphone.
Great video Arthur! I'm still using the the Crane M2 two years later with my a6400 and 10-18 lens. I'll definitely be picking up the Crane M3!
Exactly what I was looking for. You always deliver. Take care
I love your reviews, so nice the way that you share your real family life and gadgets, thanks for sharing
Awesome! Just bought the A6600 and was looking for a small gimble and THIS seems to be the one. Thanks for the video!!
Thanks man, been hunting for this all day. Looks great and exactly what we have been after. Downside, well, up untill now, the webill S was the only option, which was a dash pricey and a bit bigger, looks like this M3 is going to be considerably more than the Webill S. Which is a shame, maybe capitalising on their market position. I'm tempted to go for their basic package if you can buy the other bits as accessories later down the line. But certainly this small size and increase in weight is brilliant to see.
I have been filming a lot with the same APS-C setup exactly like you, Arthur. I am sure this CRANE-M3 will soon become my choice too.
I think this one will be the king of this range. Nice review.
Cool gimbal! I'll look into it. Thanks, Arthur, say hello to your beautiful family.
Another great review Arthur! Wondering if there are any timelapse/rotation functionalities built in? So a slow over time programmable control of the tilt and pan axis? Cheers!
After watching your video review it is very tempting to get, even at such an expensive price point, as a traveler shooting with the sony a6600. So important that the balancing be easy to do with a variety of lenses.
Excelente producción!
Really helpful Video, thank you.
Great video Arthur 👍🏻 have the Crane 3s for my professional FX6 and now r´the crane 3m for my awesome mini ZV1 👍🏻
Great video and explanation. Seems like the perfect option for the don’t ZVE10 I’m gonna get soon
Please test it with Sigma 16mm f1.4, Tamron 17-70 f2.8 and Tamron 11-20 f2.8
I need this too.
Nice video! thank you for this video.
You have a lovely family. God bless ya'll
Will wait for the price to come down. My current Crane M2 handles A7C perfectly with Sony 20mm 1.8, or Samyang 24mm 1.8, or kit lens. And I have a special Arca plate in it, so I can quickly swap/remove cameras with Arca mount. Unfortunately, M3 is not Arca compatible. Let's see if 3rd party will provide a proper plate.
Very informattive video 💪
The bag and gimbal looks smart
Excellent presentation!
The last gen can't even do a6400 with sigma 16 but this new version can now support full frame and sony 20 1.8
Appreciate your review, this gimbal looks like a winner. Is the quick release plate Arca Swiss compatible?
Looks awesome! How easy it is to stabilize on the fly when swapping lenses? I read it isn’t as easy. The quick release is a huge benefit but not so much if you’re constantly swapping lenses. Can you please make a video on this?
Hey Arthur, were any of the shots in the video using the light? Would love to see how bright it is and how much of a difference it would make
Hi Arthur. Will it work with the Tamron 17-70 on the Sony A6400? Love your content and keep it up!
Could you show the M2 and M3 side by side for size comparison? Great video!
Loved it ❣️
That thing looks awesome. Does it would work with the Sony A7C and a smallish lens like the 20mm F1.8 G? Beautiful videos
Buena producción y bueno el producto
It would be very informative and useful for a first time user of a gimbal if you would do a video setting up this model gimbal.Step by step and what focal lengths example 40mm or 16 mm or zoom to use for various video situations. Purchased this model gimbal as I have a 6400 Sony camera and watch your videos pretty much all the time and you make it very simple to under stand.Yours Gill
Excelente para realizar tomas épicas e inolvidables
I’d be curious about setups with a cage. I have the a6400 with a small rig cage and the Tamron 17-70mm. The pro price seems a bit high. At that price point I’d rather spend more for the webill 2.
Nice footage ✅
fill light is COOL addition. CONS: bigger than M2, twice the cost, gimbal & bag don't come in black. Keeping my M2 for now.
This is a tremendous upgrade from the M2!
Tremendous price upgrade too 🤣 $449 plus taxes in Canada for the basic package. This would be perfect gimbal for travel but as usual will wait till price drops as well as more critical reviews come out.
But will it handle GH5
@@WayneRosa-Australia always depends on lens more than the body. I would keep the cameras light on this one. Upgrade to larger one for more lens options.
Oh wow I need this! Is the setup hard like getting it stabilized?
So nice, I was literally watching your M2 review yesterday, hoping that there would be something more compact for a Sony aps-c camera :) Any idea on the maximum payload? I can't find info about this, but from your video it's safe to say 1kg / 2 pounds would be OK
If im not mistaken its around 1.5kg or 1.75kg.. But it can handle 2kg just fine in another review
Francois, stop trying to buy things I want to buy for the zv-e10 LOL. might get this as well tbh but not sure if I really want to drop some $$$ on the portable vlogging setup.
@@VictorLaforteza 🤣🤣🤣
@@yoginwidhi6676 oh, 1.75kg not enough for my setup, camera, lens, accessories might be to much already
@@achimd.8135 Yeah, i think the most vlog set up for this gimbal probably a7c, 20mm plus wireless mic
great video!
This vs the Feiyutech G6 Max?
As an aside, with the new firmware and the app, they did add fine tuning via the app. And it's worth doing. The stock settings are big meh. Once you fiddle with it a bit it is butter.
The concept of built in battery dispelled my interest immediately. I have the crane M first gen and it's built like a tank with batteries that i can charge separately.
Can you show how you balanced that front heavy lens on there? It looks like it is super lens heavy, and I would think the balance point is farther to the front. Also, I hope they make a black one. I don't really like that white color.
Fantástico el producto
Hope they fixed the stabilization issue. It struggled a bit compare with Moza that has a really good stabilization action.
MUST BUY
Love love love
Hi Arthur! Thank you very much for this review! I have a question. Will this gimbal work with Sony A7C and new Tamron 28-75?
Instead of the light I wish they would incorporate an laser tracker (not optical) so the gimbal could track a subject. Sure the price would be more but it would be so much more useful for those of us that don't have a camera person when shooting.
This would be the perfect gimbal for APS-C cameras.
This is fye!!
It's so good.
Thank you
Great video! Wish they made a black version.
Love the stormtrooper design. But it’s nearly double the price of the M2. It probably would not handle GMaster prime lenses like the 24 and 35.
How do you think it will hold up with ,y Nikon zfc with some Viltrox lenses that are heavier at 50mm? Stoked overall that it has a built in light with the basic kit that I’m looking at. Accessories are meh in my light to minimal set up. Thanks. Great video of your family in Dallas…cheers.
Did you mention the weight it could hold? I try to use the a7C with the crane m2 and it doesn’t like the weight. Thx
Can you balance a A6000 series it ZV-E10 with the Sigma trio lenses(16mm 1.4, 35mm 1.4, 56mm 1.4) seeing as they are quite heavy?
Arthur, great video. I would be the happiest man in the world if this thing could handle the sigma 16 and the Sony 18-105. Can you test those out?
Great question - I too would be interested in this gimbal can support the ZV-E10 and the Sigma 16mm.
@@Jim_Mundy Jim!!! That’s what I want to know!
@@LouisLuzuka ha! Great minds!
Well the sigma 16 definitely doesn't weigh as much as his G. So thats definitely going to be fine.
@@cappy2575 also consider it'll be front heavy
Arthur that is a good question and I can't find it anywhere. What is the maximum the gimbal can carry? It doesn't say anywhere I can see. Thank you and superb video. I'm buying one today.
Pricing Info (Germany) as per the press release:
- 400€ for the Standard Pack
- 489€ for the Combo Pack
- 699€ for the Pro Pack
Pricey for a bit of kit that’ll end up on the shelf
@@TopblokeGolf if it does then yes. If it’s being used and a go-between for people wanting more than a DJI OM5 but less than a Ronin Gimbal - pretty good price point imho :-)
@@TopblokeGolf lol why the hell buying it if its gonna stay in the shelf. Real people who buy it gonna use it.
I tried the M2S but it couldn't really support my A7iii comfortably, so I'm returning it. It did feel really high quality though.
Thank you! For my new Sony ZV-E10 I was between M2s and this one . After watching this review, ordered M3, now on heavy sale in US (not sure but soon will buy prime lenses Sigma 16mm, OR Sony 15mm 1,4... Very important for me is not to readjust every time...
Hello, is the M3 working fine with the sigma 16 mm ?
@@thomess The lens seems not in the list. zhiyun-website-shenzhen.oss-cn-shenzhen.aliyuncs.com/instruction/20230519/1684466112693-TASxTEXN.pdf
I just got this on sale for 250 with a discount code im so excited
Wait, what? Mic-in audio through the gimbal? Via remote control app on a6000? Why aren't there other third party devices that makes it possible to have a external mic/mic input audio on the a6000 similar to this? Thanks for a great video. Gimbal looks awesome!
Crane M2 was perfect, except it didn't work with anything more than a6400 and the kit lens. even sigma 16 was a bit too much. If this version can handle that or similar setup, its perfect for me. Only thing to check now is price. if it's the same price as m2, i'll have no second thoughts buying this one.
Thanks for the great review, Arthur! two questions for you please, f you may: -
1. Does it still support smartphones? M2 did and was a highly recommended gimbal for smartphones,
2. does this gimbal mean i can save money on a6600 and instead buy the a6400? the only difference for me between a6400 and a6600 is the IBIS. My work is 60%photo+40%photo.
Perfect for Samsung NX500 + 16-50mm F2-2.8
It's surely ideal for the new iPhone 13 Pro Max . I use my old Crane 2 for my 13 Pro Max because , my old Dji Osmo 2 can't stand the bigger phone. Yes it's heavier but I use what I have at home . I invite you to watch my little video on this subject . ( iPhone 13 Pro Max / crane 2 )
I'd stick with M2, which costs at least $120 less than M3. The smaller payload won't be an issue because I use it with ZV1, which is the whole point of a small gimbal.
does M2 have active tracking? DJI RSC2 gimbal have active tracking, where the app tracks objects/persons movement, which is very handy. thanks
7:28 mini heart attacks. 🤣😂
Hi
Thanks for great vid
Can it handle Sony A7C + Sigma 24-70mm art lens?
The tamron 17-70 with the a6600 seems a little heavy. Would I be able to use them with this gimbal?
Just inscribed, I am thinking about it for my a6600 I wonder how it works with aSmallRig case, Thanks Arthur. What To you think about the M2S is it worst? Thanks, Max
Do you think the FX3 and the sigma 24-70 2.8 lens will work with the new Crane-M3 gimbal?
This is really the perfect portable setup (with the new sigma 18-50 f2.8).
Are we witnessing the best APS-C period ever with zoom lenses from Tamron and Sigma and now this lovely gimbal?
Yes its exciting time
on what camera body though?
impresionante
Will it support Olympus OMD em10 mark II? Or can you please recommend any budget gimbal for the same
Cool, now I'm waiting for DJI to release something similar ;)
great!
I liked!
Great review. Be interested once a price is posted.
*I'm wondering if I got a unit with a bad battery*
I had fully charged it, and mostly having it sit still on my desk, with the very light and perfectly balanced ZV-1, it ran out of power in 30 minutes!
I can't imagine how fast it would be drained with actual use with the ZV-1, let alone with an A7C with the 20mm F1.8G
Did you by any chance try your A7C with the Tamron lens on this gimbal? I have that same setup.
i'm looking to order it but I'm not sure if the plates that attach the camera to the gimble are included in the base model. I have a Sony a6600 and I'm going to be okay with the base package or do i need to order the special a6000 plate separately? ( i don't see that available anywhere)
im going to get one
Question: Will the M3 work with my Rebel T7i Canon EOS 800D?
I take it.... You're gonna have to remove a smallrig or in my case.. the UURig cage for the A6400 if you want to use this M3 then Arthur ? It looks slick and awesome though. In the UK here... it's £369.00 / $500 just for the gimbal...
I have a whole nuther question. Will this gimbel handle my Nikon D7100 or a Canon 7DII, both APS-Cs, or only the much lighter and smaller Sony?
Very nice
Can it hold a7iii + 24-70 sigma f2.8 dn dg?
I just bought om3 for my phone, now I need this for the a6000. Will this gimbal carry Sony a6000 paired with sigma 30mm ? And does it shoot portrait mode ?
Hi, love your videos.
i recently brought the crane m3 however it keeps bleeping and going into sleep mode, meaning i cant use any of the modes
any ideas?
thanks in advanced
zoe
Can you control the zooming of the Sony PZ lenses from the gimbal directly via bluetooth or the cable?
6:06 Look out behind you Arthur 😱
do you think this can handle the lens (sigma 28-70mm f/2.8 contemporary dg dn) for sony FE?
Genial yo quiero una
Does it have a lanc cable?
For cameras that can be controlled via lanc.
You have beautiful family 😍
