Cute little gimbal. I'm loving the Stormtrooper design and the built in light and mic inputs are clever. Prices in Europe are € 399 for the Standard Pack which includes the gimbal, mini tripod and light filters, € 489 for the Combo pack that gives you the cute backpack and € 699 for the Pro pack which has the microphone.
As an aside, with the new firmware and the app, they did add fine tuning via the app. And it's worth doing. The stock settings are big meh. Once you fiddle with it a bit it is butter.
Will wait for the price to come down. My current Crane M2 handles A7C perfectly with Sony 20mm 1.8, or Samyang 24mm 1.8, or kit lens. And I have a special Arca plate in it, so I can quickly swap/remove cameras with Arca mount. Unfortunately, M3 is not Arca compatible. Let's see if 3rd party will provide a proper plate.
Tremendous price upgrade too 🤣 $449 plus taxes in Canada for the basic package. This would be perfect gimbal for travel but as usual will wait till price drops as well as more critical reviews come out.
@@WayneRosa-Australia always depends on lens more than the body. I would keep the cameras light on this one. Upgrade to larger one for more lens options.
After watching your video review it is very tempting to get, even at such an expensive price point, as a traveler shooting with the sony a6600. So important that the balancing be easy to do with a variety of lenses.
I’d be curious about setups with a cage. I have the a6400 with a small rig cage and the Tamron 17-70mm. The pro price seems a bit high. At that price point I’d rather spend more for the webill 2.
Arthur that is a good question and I can't find it anywhere. What is the maximum the gimbal can carry? It doesn't say anywhere I can see. Thank you and superb video. I'm buying one today.

So nice, I was literally watching your M2 review yesterday, hoping that there would be something more compact for a Sony aps-c camera :) Any idea on the maximum payload? I can't find info about this, but from your video it's safe to say 1kg / 2 pounds would be OK
Francois, stop trying to buy things I want to buy for the zv-e10 LOL. might get this as well tbh but not sure if I really want to drop some $$$ on the portable vlogging setup.
Hi. Can this gimball handle the camera such as start and stop recording or the zoom function of Sony's PZ lenses? Or which gimball can handle these functions, it this not?
Another great review Arthur! Wondering if there are any timelapse/rotation functionalities built in? So a slow over time programmable control of the tilt and pan axis? Cheers!
*I'm wondering if I got a unit with a bad battery* I had fully charged it, and mostly having it sit still on my desk, with the very light and perfectly balanced ZV-1, it ran out of power in 30 minutes! Thank you for this good content, Arthur. I wonder if you’ve tried this M3 with a FE 18-105 lens. I was wondering if M3 would be capable of balancing the lens with an a6400 body.
I use the zve10 with the 18105 and this gimbal. It was easier to balance with the smallrig cage, because the mount point is further towards the lense and it center of gravity is further back. If you want a video, tell me
@@Sonic-Boom Hey Ben, I reread the first comment and realised I am using the E version for APSC. If you are interested in a video, let me know. What exactly are you interested in? Balance position of the gimbal and mounting points?

Is it strong enough to hold an external flash with a6600 and say tamron 17-70mm?

I doubt so. Your intended setup is heavy.
Why would you put a flash on a gimbal? Putting objects on top will make it impossible to balance so I'd say no. Tamron- maybe but not recommended.
