Excellent tutorial. I got my M3 and this was my first gimbal. I couldn't figure out the manual so typed in RUclips search and yours was the first video that popped up. Managed to figure it out in one go. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
I've been wondering if this gimbal is a good combo for a Sony a6400 with 18-135 kit lens and with the SIGMA 16 1.4... Do you have any of these and could tell me if is it suitable? Thanks in advance

VERY THOROUGH VIDEO!!! Thank you!!! I thought I had my camera and mobile phone balanced correctly UNTIL I watched your last step at Min Marker 7:45. I didn't realize that this gimbal had another lever to adjust the bottom. This M3 Gimbal is really amazing! Holds my Sony A7C camera perfectly. Even with my large Tamron 17-28mm lens. Actually works better with my camera than my iPhone 12 Pro Max. But now I know why... because of that last step I have to take in balancing the camera and iPhone. Again, thank you for this well explained video!!!

I let your video play as I was gathering all its content (ready to send to the 6th level of hell) That's when you spoke to my soul. You said "take a break, because this will frustrate you.... 10 minute later I got... So I was pleasantly surprise when saw video... I just purchase the m3 yesterday. Thank you for everything....
Thank you, this was a huge help, particularly in relation to the balancing of the pan axis, very much appreciated, best technique I've seen and worked for me with the Zhiyun M2S. It wasn't managing to execute Vortex mode with the Sony A7C and 28-60mm kit lens until I used your technique, works fine now :)
Ok, figured out the lanyard/safety strap: the crane m3 has two 1/4 screw in expansion ports, one on the bottom, and another on the upper side. On Amazon, but also elsewhere, you can buy a screw-in holder, then to the holder you can attach a safety strap.
U Now have a NEW Subscriber...ME, and a LIKE. I am thinking about purchasing the M3 and your video clearly explains the setup. Thanks 4 that. Cheers !!
Brilliant video. I managed to setup my ancient Fuji bridge camera after watching this video. But i can't for the life of me get my gopro to balance on the gimbal. I think it may be too light with a plastic mount.

Where does everyone have the larger cameras on there Gimble Krane?..... It really quite heavy, so i am happy with the Canon powershot G7X attached to it.
I was following this tutorial step by step but when I try the auto calibration, the gimbal keeps giving an error message “failed”. It doesn’t try to do anything. Would you know why?
@@torryc I tried again with the battery fully charged and the cable plugged in to the camera and it worked, but only once. The auto calibration fails more than it works.
@@woodcraft_cz I can't say for sure but it was a balancing issue. After a bit of practice, I got better at balancing and now it doesn't fail on me. Sorry there wasn't a sure shot answer for you, but keep trying. It also helps to have a friend help, a fresh pair of eyes is great when you feel stuck. Have them watch this video and let them balance, see if that works.
Nice video Evan!Who has nowadays the time to balance a cam like Sony 6500 with 16-70mm Carl Zeiss everytime for 15 minutes? Does a quick release plate help? Whois this original plate so expensive? Why isn’t ita standard in Zhyun offer?
