Doug you have been AoS lore daddy for a long, long time to many people - back when others were not speaking about the setting on youtube. I like that you are branching out and hobbying your way, and more power to you. But i hope that regular AoS lore content comes back soon. Otherwise i will do it myself!
I mean, you should do it regardless! (if it's what you want) I hope to! My life is settling a bit. That being said... I am gonna be doing every campaign book (for AOS, conquest and Horus Heresy) that I can.
I know I am trying out this Path to Glory campaign before we switch to 4th. I just started collecting, love the Cities and have crafted a whole narrative in my head about my small spearhead of troops going on the Ghyren side of the campaign since personally I’m more used to bugs and swamps
I still think the lore and setting for AOS are in a better place than 40K, but I wish there was a clearer timeline. How long has it been since Morathi became a god and the Dawnbringer Crusades began? Years? Centuries? Months? It's almost the same problem Elden Ring had. When everyone's immortal, everything blurs together.
There are currently Nurgle pirates, Skaven pirates, and Dark Elf pirates in lore, not to mention the entire existence of the Idoneth Deepkin. On top of that, they could easily bring back Luther Harkon and the Vampire Coast for a more varied Grand Alliance Death. Almost makes you wonder why didn't go for some kind of endless ocean realm where Bloodborne meets Subnautica and Khornate warriors prove themselves by slaughtering sea monsters. It's almost enough to make you wonder if Games Workshop limited themselves too much by restricting the realms to the winds of magic. (Seriously, how do you make a Realm of Shadow meaningfully different from a Realm of Death?)
Ghyran only cuz the parched wastes sound hellish to me. However, I would probably follow Talia across those wastes since ghyran doesn't seem to have a reliable leader like her.
Would kind of suck if they were that predictable. Maybe the ghyran goes well while the aqshy gets bogged down in the countersiege and spits between talia and the pontifex. @@nolanlarocque2967
I missed this style of videok, this is what attracted me to the channel 2 years ago, all the mortal realms lore. I have never seen any of your hobby hangout stuff, it's not interesting to me as a viewer.
When the world needed him most. 2+ tough turned off his advertising and delivered us this incredible gem.

I agree with you entirely
I'm glad you are here to analyze and pull out the interesting bits from these books because they are too expensive to buy.
You can pirate scans in pdf files
Awesome just Awesome!
The Red or Green Hell… hmmm, I choose Blue or White.
Me wishing there was Realms of Water and Ice magic.

@@samueltitone5683 a very good question.
Aqshy totally, in fact think that's where my beasts will head! Thanks for the video!
Love the narrative series
a 2+ Tough lore video is a very welcome addition to my day
thank you! That just made my day :)
Just in time to prime my Slaves to Darkness army!!! Thank you blessed Everchosen! (2+Tough)
Pretty cool take on a great story
The Return of the King
As a clan moulder player (and come from a place called thunder swamp) I would go with ghyran
i agree with you on the front that i would choose. i have severe entomophobia.
Wow that thumbnail art screams grimdark. Looks like a 40k image almost.
Love the content!! Comments for algorithms
Death by lava is faster than strangulation by vines. Just saying. Pick your poison.
I'm leaning towards Aqshy for my preferred posting.
Another amazing video 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
Thank you!
This is so cool
Aqshy, only because I like they're color scheme more.
Realm of fire.
I would be all in for Ghyran, but I can see Alarielle being upset about all this at some point lol.
GW needs ro market its ttrpg's better because both AoS and 40k are PERFECT for tabletop roleplaying!
Love your comment Doug about Battle tomes being propaganda for the faction. Very funny.

One reason I feel that the ghyran crusade will fail( that and they didnt get a hero model for their side

I hate being hot, and I hate being hungry, so I gotta go with Gyhran
I would chose Ghyran or even Ghur over Aqshy, rather not die of heat exhaustion
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I'd rather be in Aqushi, I'm sure I spelled that wrong. I'd rather deal with khorne than nurgle.
