    I like the theories banding about where the wheel is likened to the Chaos symbol. There's lots of stories where mortals do t realise they're worshiping Chaos until its too late (The Rain Father, praying for Change etc). The big wheel just needs 8 spikes.

      I’d like this, but as long as it doesn’t literally become chaos. Like if it empowers the chaos gods unconsciously, I’m all about it. But I still want it to be in the background so folks who want religious crusade themed fantasy armies for order, we have that.
      I just adore the classic warpreist idea, and would hate for that to become a “bUt iTs ReAlLY cHaOS” meme like Dark Angels or something 😂

      @2Tough could not agree more! She has to stay part of the Cities army, and the concept of fanatical armies to oppose yet mirror chaos is brilliant. Its just that all the stories we've seen her in so far, she or her fanatics seem to slow the efforts of crusades. As you say, unintentionally doing the work of Chaos.
      I think it would be disappointing if we had an Anakin Skywalker character or Alpha Legion scenario here.

    I love that the crusades in the fire lands was good, they where able to regain an good portion of there strength back to succeed the crusade, however i am concerned for an certain king returning from the cold dead since there army is growing

    Moar AoS, YES! And the Realmgate Wars nostalgia bait is real! Bael-Grimnir & Vandus back in action! 😍
    Last bit of this got me so pumped with Fyreslayer action and Liberators righteously bolting down to take on Khul once more! 💪 🔥 ⚡️
    Kinda funny to hear the Pontifex get nope’d like that by Vandus(and note I actually do like her) and ask what could be more important when next to a sea of blood, massive Khorne forces on the horizon and golden demigods having to face them. You’d think she’s heard enough epic tales to know something big is up(like when Skarbrand caused emanations from a mountain to make everyone in Aqshy go on killing frenzies or Khul taking over the red moon, the Orb Infernia sub-Realm, to spread red murder mists across the Parch)
    Really interesting fanatical balance too between the cities wondering about the crusade costs and the desperate crusaders tearing wheels off to join in the faithful. Like all things there needs be a balance of pragmatism to keep things level but some zealotry if anyone is gonna be crazy enough to go out there and make new cities in hellscapes.
    (Also just saying the Heartblood Sea sounds like it’d make a great warhammer-version of “Iron Lung” with a Freeguild submersible expedition by the Ironweld)

    Would you consider making more lore videos about Cities of Sigmar and more "daily life" in the realms? Life in Vindicarum will be very much different then in Settler's Gain, so it might be interesting. But I bet you would have to reach to Soulbound RPG lore for more details ;)

    Continued focus on Zenestra and insane zealots absolutely ruin this campaign to me.
    One of the most prominent reasons for why I got interested in the Age of Sigmar was being tired of religious stupidity in the Warhammer 40,000.
    To see Age of Sigmar narrative fall into same pit of dumb stupidity full of grimderp cruel clergy is extremely disheartening and honestly kills my desire to continue to buy models, books or even be invested in the story - after all, it seems we are getting all the worst narratives of Warhammer 40,000 injected into the Age of Sigmar.

    • @user-cd8ke3it3w
      @user-cd8ke3it3w 10 месяцев назад +9

      The difference being grimderp zealots in 40k are presented as good protagonists. All this campaign in AoS there is a theme of religious extremism, and how it can be useful, but at the end of the days is bad and insane. I don't understand how people can't see this

    • @J_Warral
      @J_Warral 10 месяцев назад +2

      @@user-cd8ke3it3w is it? What is a single good protagonist we've seen? Even Vandus Hammerhand is dragged through the mud and ruined as a character, from hero with weight of the world on his shoulders into a careless vengeful not-space-marine.
      P.S. I have a primed, but not yet painted army of Hammers of Sigmar. I don't want to work on it anymore. I feel my enjoyment of lore and narrative actively spoiled by incessant grimdumb.
      This is how I feel about narrative that Dawnbringers in specifically and 3'rd Edition lore in general.

      @user-cd8ke3it3w 10 месяцев назад +6

      @@J_Warralhonestly, did you read any of these books, or just watched videos? Because yes, theme of zealotry being bad is in the books. Even before Zenestra was introduced there was another priest character that was spreading hate and violence through faith. His mummified head is inside Tahlia's saddle-casket now, because she executed him. Later, she is practicaly forced to do work with Zenestra, despite hating her, and we saw Zenestra ruining sane people before her - but she was too useful for war effort at the time being

    • @user-cd8ke3it3w
      @user-cd8ke3it3w 10 месяцев назад +9

      @@J_Warral for this campaign Tahlia Vedra can be counted as good protagonist - she is practical and straight-to-the-point, although rush. The four trophy heads on her saddle are characters that were introduced in the first book of this campaign - excessively cruel marshal, uncaring for commonfolk mage, corrupt and greedy treasurer, and manipulating self-imposing priest. So, she hates all this things. Book describing their sins, and how atrocious they were practically screamed "Look, we are not like 40k, we don't want this people here"
