I only recently came across the wildlife photography vlogs of Morten Hilmer. And, immediately after doing so I decided that I needed to get to know him. I love his enthusiasm for wildlife photography, conservation, and just life.
So, I asked Morten if he'd come to Crete, Greece so we could hang out. And, I thought maybe I could get him to try some landscape and travel, rather than just the wildlife photography that he does. So, he's here. And, he'll be here the next 4 days. This is going to eb a fun RUclips photography vlog collab, and I think we'll have a great time.
So, meet Morten Hilmer in this Q&A, and we'll get out and do some vlogging and photography in the days to come.

It is so incredibly warm here on Crete and this is so different from what I normally do but hey - isn't it just nice to nice to get out of our comfort zone sometimes and get inspired by the way other photographers' work.

So weird, I discovered Morten's youtube channel about 3 weeks ago (after I bought a 100-400mm lens). Such a talented guy. Such an obsession with coffee :)
I have been following Mortan from the start you need to watch his videos of the hares in Scotland!! Good colab, not just the norm 👍👍👍
I have been following Morten for almost 8-9 months in youtube and instagram, but, honestly didn't expect he will be the guest! Its so cool to see people whom I'm following and learning from are working together.

Liked before finishing the video, Morten's so inspirational and cool to hear the stories. Underwater photography seems quite fun, you can get some good images with point and shoots in underwater housings and strobes. But it depends on the type of photography you want to do. Definitely scuba is fun! Soo relaxing :)
Morten is one of my favourite RUclipsrs. This was a great vlog. We have a ton of bears in Canada. My best day is 9 bear in one day and not at a bait site. If you want to photograph black bear in Canada try the hydro lines in Algonquin Park during july. I promise you will have good success. you'll probably see moose, deer, wolves and turkeys too.

I just discovered this channel, but I've been watching Morten for a while. Great stuff from both!
Jasper is the wildlife town of all wildlife in Alberta! Yeah, every time we go we see bears, elks, rams, sheep, ... and only saw one timber wolves so far. Couldn't take a photo at the time because he was to far and didn't own a telephoto lenses. They are surprisingly huge! Can't wait to see the next few vlogs with Morten. Have fun!

Brilliant collaboration! Lets see some cool wildlife pictures showing animals and their habitats in a landscape style... or maybe find some slow moving animals that will allow you to take some long exposure wildlife selfies :)

I've watched Morten for quite a while, and I don't think you could have had a meet-up with a nicer fellow. It's hard for me to recognize him without ice covering his beard!

Let me know if you want to try underwater photography when you're in the UK again Brendan, I have a 70D with housing, strobes, and ports for wideangle and macro you could test out if you'd like=)

Morton should check out Wolf Haven. It's not wolves in the wild, but they're not caged and have lots of information about wolves.
