You know, I saw it spelled both ways when I ran a Google search and saw both. Of course, I picked the wrong one. I had Ph and then changed it. Maybe I'll change it back. Thanks for watching
Ok, new thumb is up with the correct name. I can't change the video, but I put a MISTAKE warning in the video description and comment section. I really did spend a few minutes trying get it correct. I think I saw Pratamnak Night Market. I had the same problem with Ekkamai. Half the signs including the street posts say Ekamaie. Or Ekamaie Beer House. Thanks for watching
@@CryptoSteve007 I'm trying to understand the tonal aspect. It's still a little confusing when I see Ekkamai or Ekamai. If you look at Google maps they spell it Pratamnak Night market or Phra Tam Nak 5. Then it also shows Phratamnak on other streets.
MISTAKE: I spelled Phratamnak wrong in the video. Sorry about that. Probably a 2:30am (3 Leo) edit. If you enjoy checking out Bangkok and other SE Asia spots, consider subscribing. I'll continue to make videos showing the streets in Bangkok and beyond. Thailand is amazing and a great place to visit, work or retire. I'll do my best to show you how to live affordably in SE Asia. Plus, enjoy some great side trips from Bangkok.
Great video, that hill looked a bit of effort😊 I see most reports that Jomtien is preference over Phratamnak, it's subjective I know, but not sure why...?
To live there you need your own transportation. It's an awfully long walk up Pratumnak Soi 5 (about 15 minutes uphill) to the baht bus. I would pick Jomtien.
Thank you for video will check this area your the man 🎉
Yes, I really like the hills. I didn't realize living in Bangkok how flat the area is. If I ever move that way, that area is on my radar
The correct spelling is ‘Phratamnak’ For me the best area to live, especially when you have a motorbike!

Lived here for 16 years now. There is no correct spelling. Thai language is tonal. Nice try though.

They're both nice, but I prefer the hill. It's nice to live on a mellow area yet be so close to lots of energy.
and thats where i stay, its by far the best in pattaya
It's a nice spot. I really enjoy that area

Your talking to a mailman here. I love those hills. Get in a workout. But, I agree. That's a good place to have a motorbike
