I think this was one the best youve made so far. The edits just really help connect the stories together. Its a really well made video. Well done man, ive always expected high quality vids from you but you always exceeded them and i respect that 🤗
Not your usual content but as a car guy, I love and appreciate classic cars of all makes and models so thanks for this. It's a great story and his excitement about his car is contagious!
After saving this video and watching many times, I am finally the owner of a 1982 Porsche 911SC in Black Metallic over tan. It's a driver's car, for sure, just like Sid's. And I love it for all its beauty and imperfections. Fantastic film. - Adam
Beautiful car, beautiful story, I can definitely relate to your experience on owning a classic car. I'm sure you'll do well wherever you find your next adventure.
Sid, you remind me of myself in some ways. I am on my 4th Posrche and my current one is a 993 from 1984. Air cooled....not in perfect condition, daily driver, stickers and small details that give it my stamp. Now, I am on the look out for a 911SC. I am excited and enjoying the search.......if I could I would have one from every 911generation.......maybe one day. Thanks for the video.......put a huge smile on my face.
This is awesome. I'm 24 and the car scene is becoming less and less fun because I feel like I'm being compressed by lawn-chair-sitting-at-car-show boomers and young people that only drive stanced Subarus and vape the same flavor. Very encouraging to see you highlight more young people that enjoy classic cars like me. Edit: Since everyone is listeing their cars, I have a 1965 Ford Fairlane, a 1970 Mustang Fastback Project, and a 1973 Bronco Project.
29 here in the uk, Stopped going to vw shows but have a 69 bay, 65 continental, 68 charger, 78 c10, 79 mini and 46 austin 16 😅🤪 they are all rough projects but id rather do all that work than sit in a chair at a show or do all my mods on finance 😅👍😂
More than double the subs it used to be. Great job, Ben. Thanks all this time for highlighting we younger guys that own or enjoy the classic car hobby. 💪We rock. And we keep real cars a bold subject. Old cars are truly for young people. Very classy Porsche. They make a great car. After all, Porsche has like 19 wins at Le Mans of France. More than the entire world hahaha I feel exactly the way he does. I'm from AL, but I never truly made friends or started driving until I've came to Michigan and the car scene is much bigger, especially car shows. HotWheels started me off, but now I'm here really living that HotWheels life.
Great story and car!,really enjoyed every bit of itbest of luckin whatever you're doing and hopefully you'll be reunited with your porsche again take care!
Hey Sid, love the car. I drive one myself. One suggestion... lose all those tacky window stickers. Really cheapens the car., which speaks for itself and needs nothing but what it is to be as cool as it is. Cheers!
Beautifully filmed and edited. The editing is second to none. My personal liking is on certain drives have a split screen or insert to watch shifting at same time as negotiating curves. Gives feel like you are sitting in car.
I have a 1986 Alfa Romeo Spider 🕷 and I live on LONG Island and I love it when I can use it as a daily driver but on like Southern California I have to deal with road salt and humidity which shortens the life of the body. More power to you dude. You get it. Enjoy it well you have it. Oh yeah....love those shots of the BMW BOXER.
Nice fotos! i have a '79 911....put in a Classic Retrofit electric A/C unit and VW electric heater....Great in the heat of summer and dead of winter..... no more sweating inside or fog-up windshields.
This is one of the cleanest, best classic styling porsches ever made..best body style they made in my opinion, and those yellow headlights just set the car off right, very time period correct..
"You're the first person who left a note on my car who wasn't trying to buy my car" -Sid How I met sid when I moved into the apartment at USC back in fall 18. Such a genuine guy and I wish I can see him before he leaves but Covid uggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
love your explanation of your sound and feel of it I grew up with my dad whom just passed and as a kid we went everywhere and I so want to buy my own one day for my sons maybe a couple
When he says his boys here in Cali got the car ready bet he's referring to the exhaust conversion. That's a few grand I wouldn't wish on anyone. Plus it's total blshit.. I got my grey market SC to pass smog and skated on the conversion. Victory!!
Great video! Im looking for a 911SC and enjoyed hearing about your experience. I’m here in SoCal with a water cooled 944S2 cabriolet. I hope you get to stay or come back soon. Would be great take ride up the Angeles Crest and talk cars.
I owed a 1996 993 speedyellow Turbo for about 8 years It was AMAZING! 600HP 595 ft lb's torque All is not lost as l still own a 1978 911 SC silver/black 57k original miles & 100% stock It's as enjoyable to drive as my 993 just different
My dad has a couple 80’s 911 Porsche’s that he bought 15 years ago when they were affordable.. for one for $6500 and the other around $8,000. Should have hung on to them!

Awesome video! I just recently added a 1978 911SC targa to the garage. It is the perfect 911!

My dad has a couple 80’s 911 Porsche’s that he bought 15 years ago when they were affordable.. for one for $6500 and the other around $8,000. Should have hung on to them!
Holy cow! That is almost free these days. Now the 911 SC’s are in the 50K range. My timing is terrible in wanting an SC.
1:55 a wild hansen racing appears haha!
You appear more than once😂
Air cool life 😎 👌
Nice one Sid
Did he ship the 911 to Dubai?
