How to fix lawn mower pull start cord - complete guide

In this short video, I am working on a Briggs and Stratton lawn mower. The pull cord has not broken and the components are essentially all ok but need a service. I Remove and lubricate it so the "wings" can spread out when pulled to open up into the starter and turn the engine over. Most of this will also relate to a full pull-start assembly too. But in this case that is not what is required, Check yours for this issue before you buy a new assembly. You may just need to give it a quick DIY service
