I feel like sometimes we (viewers) and youtubers put so much pressure on the fact that you have this "perfect" job and expect you to be superhuman and always be happy and always be "on" for the camera, and we forget that you are just as human as the rest of us. I've struggled with feeling un-inspired and unfulfilled at my job, as has most people, it's so hard when it happens and I'm glad you are getting through it and finding your happiness on the other side of it. I’m 60 and you took me back to my first year of motherhood in 1990 when you said, “You have to come back to yourself”. Beautifully put and so true! It takes a while and we all go through it. Like you, I had a lot of trauma in a short time during that adjustment. I forgot at times to give myself grace for that. You are such a beautiful soul and you inspire me to take better care of myself with your authentic, beautiful, idea-filled videos. I live in a very basic apartment and your talent at making a space beautiful inspires me daily. The baby noises in the background are so endearing and the sound of such sweet life! Thank you!

I know how it is losing yourself, trying to find yourself, and then recreating a life you love after having your first baby! ❤ I do want to warn you just to be prepared for the ups and downs that come over the next couple of years. Things get easier at certain stages of development and then super hard again at others (teething! Looking at you 👀) Being prepared for that may help you prep for the proper support (I'm a stay at home, work from home mom. So I went through it!) It took me off-guard after things had gotten smooth and routine for a bit there. It's like a whole other mountain to overcome. Researching development leaps and the ages they happen at can help a ton to understand what your child is experiencing and how to support them and yourself through them. They have apps and wesbites all about the development leaps. I can't remember the names anymore (sorry) but those help a ton! My daughter is 3 now and I feel like we're almost to smooth sailing with a 4 year old, but now I'm expecting our second in January! Low key scared to go through all that again, but excited of course 🥰 and knowing what to expect and not having to go through an identity crisis this time will help a lot! 😅 I went and found the site for you. We just bought our first house and we close on the 11th of august and I am in the same mode as you! I am just so ready to get settled and do fun projects and get ready for fall and winter. We are moving away from Florida so we will actually be in a state that we can experience fall and winter weather!

We just bought our first house and we close on the 11th of august and I am in the same mode as you! I am just so ready to get settled and do fun projects and get ready for fall and winter. We are moving away from Florida so we will actually be in a state that we can experience fall and winter weather!

Love this! Never apologize for a baby in the background, he's finding his voice and I loved it. Always great content, we all go through things, you just happen to be filming as you are going through rough patches. I try to remember everything is temporary, I mean EVERYTHING, the downs and ups!
