Hey guys :) thank you for the continued support as I navigate my way through this motherhood journey .. it’s no joke! I will keep posting and trying as always to get back to it. I’ve declared consistency as my main goal to tackle before the end of the year. It feels like one month I’m killing it, the next I am a sleep deprived, mentally exhausted mama zombie that can't accomplish anything lol. Glad you are doing ok! The first year is rough and sometimes you just need a break. Don't worry about it. Maybe just tell people you'll post when you can but don't give a schedule to the public. Sometimes that's something you keep as a personal goal. That way people won't be upset if you don't post and you won't feel pressured. Lots of love to you and your family! ❤

One thing that helped me a lot with politics, was reading “talking across the divide.” It’s all about how both parties can communicate better rather than the unproductive yelling and hate we see online. It can’t take the negativity away, but it helped me process, communicate, and stay sane with politics.
I can relate Renee. There will always be negative people & tragic things happening around us. If we constantly "absorb" everything it will mess up with our mental health. A simple life with real human connections is definitely what's important ❤

Hi Renee! I completely understand the concept of re-framing your mindset, but I am a work at home mom as well, and it can be HARD being around your child 24:7. Just remember, you are more than a mom, and you need your me time too! Whether that be just going on a walk without Bryson, or your mom taking Bryson for a few hours while you and Zander go on a date night. Being a WFH mom is a huge blessing of course, but it can start to get to you! Just remember that you aren’t alone, and take things one day at a time. ❤

Glad to see you back and the video was great. I just have to say though that people do look forward to your regular postings and it’s disappointing when suddenly you disappear off the platform without any heads up on your channel. I get having to take breaks and live life but at the same time this community is what supports you having this as a job and helps support your day to day life. Like with any job in life it’s important to communicate. If I suddenly left my job one day without any heads up to my coworkers or families that I serve that would create a lot of issues. Even when I’ve gone through really tough times that have caused me to have to make major life changes I still have to show up for things. I depend on my job to pay my bills. Keep posting when you want but I hope you realize what a privilege that is.
I feel like she refuses to acknowledge that. She is constantly disappearing and needing breaks. Wish we could all have that privilege…

I loved watching the meal prep for Bryson 😊 Taking notes for when I have a baby! You’re doing a great job, girl! I completely relate with wanting to switch to a flip phone sometimes. Social media can be overwhelming for sure. I deleted instagram too a couple months ago and haven’t missed it at all.

Thank you, I’ve wondered this my entire life LOL.
Definitely can relate to the feeling of wanting to live a more introverted and sustainable lifestyle away from others out in nature. Once the pandemic started, I was already living on my own and then added on remote working with my cats as my only company at home. But now that I live with my partner, I've been trying to look for more light and positives in the world. My partner is more of an extrovert and is an elementary school counselor for a low income school and I've found myself volunteering more to help when they hold any events. They will work with nearby churches to get donations in order to provide Thanksgiving meals for families that wouldn't be able to get them otherwise and also keep a location called "The Kindness cabinet" in the school to stock shoes, backpacks, and food for children at the school that may be in need of these things. The world seems like a scary place and that there isn't as much good as their used to be, but being able to help and be apart of these things brings the hope I personally need to not get lost in those negative thoughts.💕

Also I’m so excited to finally try athletic greens! Always wanted to buy it seemed pricey but I started an online business selling digital products and I can’t believe how lucrative it has been so far 🙏🏽 I’m thankful to save up but also treat myself and my family to some things we’ve always wanted ❤

You aren’t alone in this feeling of anxiety around politics and feeling the urge to go back to simplicity and wholesomeness. It’s affecting us all. I literally have anxiety attacks over the crazy this world has become. I also fantasize moving into the woods or moving to somewhere like Italy where I can at least get clean foods and family still matters. I’ve wondered for so long how you and other young people are feeling in this mess.
Hi Renee! I watch your videos when you post. I always gain a more inspiring & motivated look on health & life & general from you. I'm a mom as well & understand how life and priorities change. Just post when you can. I've noticed people take it really hard when you go days without posting ... idk how I feel about that. Well, I guess I actually feel a little weird about it 😅 but I just hope their comments don't get you down. Their life will carry on as usual and they can just get used to an inconsistent schedule if that's what you want to call it. I feel the same way about politics and the upcoming/current noise. Also, yesterday I was randomly watching a RUclips video of people shopping at Kmart in 1989 (lol) and it made me miss the simple times. It’s something I think about all the time. I’d love to move to the middle of nowhere and get a flip phone and have no idea what’s in the news. Sigh. The world today is crazy.

Also, when Bryson is a little older, like toddler age, you may want to get him some day care a couple of days a week. Just to give you some creative space during work. Great video. Better mindset in this vlog. Great job, Renee! It's okay to pick up where you left off. You don't have to always be on all the time. I understand there will be days when you are killing it, so disciplined, etc and there are days when you crash and recover. So long as you still keep pushing, no quitting... you'll continue to reach wherever you wanna go. Hope that makes sense. Rooting for you!

I think as much family interaction as possible is important for our sanity and good health. If a person is staring at a computer/phone screen each day more than they are their own family then no amount of other things can cure that. I've found that being too regimented can make us very unhappy underneath too. I took a page out of your own book and now I only get on IG for an hour every Friday :) I've backed off the politics almost completely right now. I only get on one single twitter account of another person for seconds each day which gives a simple update. I don't need to know what's going on 24/7.

We literally watch your videos and care about your life. We aren’t putting any pressure on you. You don’t upload in a normal schedule, you aren’t on any social media, we say okay and are letting you figure it out. But you always say “I’ll upload on these days from now on” and then disappear for weeks. Every time. And then you come back and complain about how you needed a 2week to a month break cuz it was too much but couldn’t even say anything. You are SO privileged to have your job, to be able to take a two week break and not have to fear you will be fired, to not worry if you will be able to pay for groceries because you needed a break. Everyone goes through struggles and needs breaks. The LEAST you could do is communicate. I think eventually you will leave so much you won’t have a platform to come back to. Which sucks cuz you could have a great one
She is risking losing money by not posting, she has a child and social media isn’t everything she’s still human, everyone does have struggles and this is hers, trying to navigate her career and be a mother

growing up (in the 80's), I was always very extroverted. Due to my anxiety and the 2020 election, I am now 100% an introvert and basically hate doing anything social. Like you said, the world is just scary right now and it feels like it's every man for himself instead of loving and helping others. Everyone has an agenda, everyone is offended, and I just really don't like being a part of it. Jesus, take the wheel!

We can't change people's mindset but we can pray to God for peace and calmness. I just wish everyone could get along and we could all just live in peace with one another (wishful thinking). Could not agree more. It might be uncomfortable and it might not make you feel good but it’s our duty to care about these things.
Republican policies? Really? That’s such a toxic point of view. I didn’t become more conservative until the last couple years and as someone who works with children with special needs I can say that republicans are 100% not the problem… just FYI.
Ditto, I have complex regional pain syndrome. Due to the constant loudness that our politicians are exhibiting, I can't afford just to check out. I wish I had her luxury.
Yet everyone, disabled or not is suffering under this administration, and haven't suffered this bad since the last democratic administration.

Everything in this vlog was a 10/10 except I give the matcha 1/10 because the foam is blue and it reminds me of a cleaning product. I feel the exact same way about wanting to disconnect from consumerism. My life is so much happier NOT getting inundated with ads, seeing people post all about their vacation, their new handbag ect. And I’m at the age where people are buying homes and it’s like no, I don’t care that John from college Spanish class is posing with keys and kissing his spouse by the door like I’m better for NOT seeing this stuff. For every picture of someone’s margarita by the pool, someone’s baby bump, someone’s engagement, wedding, whatever…. What none of these people realize is it’s all the same. Whatever they post hundreds of people have posted the same exact thing. I think the people who you run into and they have a new kid, and they never even posted they were pregnant to me is a lot interesting. It shows they are present in their lives. I don’t know how we all got so used to just sharing our most sacred family moments with the world. They matter even when they aren’t shared because they matter to US. I say, yes to the flip phone! Would actually love to see someone like you make the switch and document it. There’s something called the light phone also. I might sell my iphone and get one instead. I think a lot of people are starting to crave real life and getting rid of all the overstimulation as you wisely called it.

I don't know what side you fall on politically (doesn't matter to me) but me personally I'm more conservative and I've found it hard to relate to this new world because of the morals and belief in God I have. But about 4years ago I move to a super small town and raising my now 1yr old daughter her is the biggest blessing. True wholehearted good people in small towns. It's a type of connection I believe the world is missing.
