Shame that dolphines didn't come around! However, this location is very scenic and lovely one to stop by. I liked the lighthouse and the Abbey. But sunrise and that blue moving water at the end washed everything away! Keep going :-)

beautiful scenery as always, raining, ugh it makes the day miserable. wouldn't it be nice if you had a washer dryer in your mobile home. that wind would of caught my breath. the sky was beautiful, with all the different colours. its was nice to see the dolphin 🐬 in your other pictures, good photo shot. was it cold there. take care.

Bad luck with the dolphins, we’ve spent many a wasted hour on that beach waiting, then last time we had a spectacular show for about an hour. We did see dolphins round at Hopeman on our latest trip. Happy Travels 👍

Been to that site - you could of gone to the site owners as they will book you a pair of local dolphins for 5 quid - they apparently have a business adventure with a local dolphin pod lol apparently the dolphins are in on the washing machine scandal too
Hi guys. Oh well, you can’t say that you didn’t try for us to capture the dolphins this time around. 10/10 for perseverance in some pretty crabby weather. The site looked lovely backing straight on to the sea so at least that was a plus. How’s the van holding up with the damp in this dreadful weather you’ve been having? Fingers crossed that it improves. All the best from us three and hope things get drier.
Yes, we tried, but there's always a next time. The vans been good since Karl resealed it and we've had some awful weather since then. Still keep checking as you can't help but check after the leaks it's had, but it's been good. We do get some sunshine eventually lol.☀️
i have a friend who lives near there in Avoch and he says the same thing ,,,it`s luck .. .sometimes the dolphins are in a photogenic mood...sometimes they stay away ..

Karl would have got some cracking shots with his camera that nice sunny morning. Crikey that wind was bad. We were just over the other side before fort George. We moved to a bit more sheltered spot. Gutted for you, but beautiful pics from earlier. We were there in June 2018 and was lucky enough to see them, blowing a Gale then too.
Lol, it's always windy there I think but it was awful the first day. Hopefully we will see them again.

The Dolphins were still asleep, they pulled an all nighter over at the Fort. They never perform to order and have never seen them there.
