    Thank you! This is exactly what video I was looking for today!
    We have this table and my 10myh old loves when the water rains down, but I'm lazy and don't want to have to keep doing it over and over!

    Cool! Good job buddy! I'm a pool electrician, I agree with you, 12v will do next to nothing at such a low amperage. You're good!

    With the exact same water table 2 years ago I did almost the exact same thing you did but I use an aquarium pump and I put it on the top of the drain and I fastened it with zip ties and silicone and I ran the power cable through the drain home cut the cable reattached it to an outlet from an old vacuum cable and use shrink tube to waterproof it and my vinyl tubing goes up in the exact same spot you have yours I’m just looking for other water table ideas cause I’m going to upgrade this year but I really like your pump being underneath I think that works very well there’s no lack of space lost in the inside of the tub thank you for the post and the share I actually considered making a video of my own table that I had made I never thought that somebody else would’ve made something very similar with the same water table but then again if anybody has ever bought one of these you know it’s a joke on the advertising of the box it shows a kid using a scoop to lift the water and dump it in the top and that just wasn’t sufficient for me and obviously not you either and I wanted it to be fun and that’s exactly what it became so Costco has a new one of these tables that’s a little upgraded but the same style just a couple of ramps and different things that go down that big column piece so I’m considering buying that this year and retrofitting it a little bit thanks again for the share and I have not posted RUclips videos as of yet but maybe I’ll do a little video on mine my old table that I’ve done and then the new one that I’m gonna do.

    Just did this exact thing, the pump doesn’t seem strong enough to pump the water up? Ideas?

    What materials do you need? I see the pump but what about the tubing? Can you tell me the size. Thank you! I have this exact water table.

    Great video! One question, for the PVC piping that is used? What size piping did you use? I bought some 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD and the fitting near the drain seems really loose where electrical tape doesn't seem enough to prevent leaking. It seems like I need to buy 5/8" OD but wanted to confirm. Thanks!

    • @calibratedeyeball

      Not OP but I used 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD and it took about 4-6 turns of electrical tape to get a good fit.

    what did you use to attach hose to drain

      Sorry for the late reply. I just wrapped electrical tape around to the desired fit.
      Thank you for watching!

    The way that the conduit bracket is screwed into the table, did that puncture the other side and did you have to do anything so it didn't leak? Thanks for the video!

    • @choppers1398
      @choppers1398  Год назад

      It has a double wall so I just use 3/4” screws so there were no leaks.
      Thank you for watching hope that helped.

    • @calibratedeyeball

      @@choppers1398 Thank you! I realized that after I posted and I used 3/4" screws as well. The conduit bracket I had was a bit small so only about 1/4" to 1/2" was screwed into the side and it worked. Thanks for the video! I used it to make a waterfountain for this water table with the 2023 version.
      The 2023 version has a few differences. The green column part is aligned differently with the top and also came in two pieces that snapped together so I ended up drilling holes for the tubing a little bit differently: a hole in the side near the top of the green column, a hole in a similar spot at the top and then an off-centered hole from the bottom. The tubing goes out of the side and to under the top part. I followed everything else in the video except adding the filter which I did not have. I might post a video as well if it would help anyone.

    for draining, do you just tip it over? just curious how you do it

    • @choppers1398
      @choppers1398  4 года назад

      Yes, we just tip it over or point the hose away for a minute and it will empty pretty quick.
