- I totally forgot how much I love KCD. I also totally forgot that this game makes you feel like you're in charge, when in fact you're SO not.
You unlocked the secret ending where Henry dies in his jail cell helpless and alone. I didn't expect this playthrough to be a speed run.

Fun thing, I got this without being aware of the achievement. I wanted to see how would our father react if the catchpole made Henry prisonner. Well, I didn't expect that we would be jailed long enough for dying during Sigismund's raid... 😂
your enthusiasm is infectious, i started playing again, my old save was in 2019 at 198 hours. i forget how weak we start.

I have over 600 hours in the game, including a completion on Hardcore mode. Like you I still get goosebumps at the main menu. I haven't been excited for a new game release since the first KCD, and knowing how well that game turned out I'm 10x more excited for KCD2. I can hardly wait.

Beating up that unsuspecting straw guy, and him going for backup was hilarious, I use him to practice my stealth takedowns

Yeah, that classic secret achievement/scene with arrest in prolog 😁 really shows that Warhorse though that people would want to end up in jail even in Skalitz 😁 I also currently started a new playthroght, after few years of my full HC mode playthought, in the anticipations of KCD2 and having a blast playing it. Brings back sweet memories of even playing the Alpha and Beta back in the days when everyone was waiting for full release. Enjoy your possible new run with Jindřich/Henry, CommanderIvy 😉 The next 6 - 8 months will be longer then ever for all of us 😄So posting a full walkthrought may not be a bad idea 😁 Looking forward what have our boys and girls in Czechia in store for us 🙂

It brings a tear to my eye to hear someone from a completely different corner of the world saying that "its like going back home for me" when seeing the simulation of a peaceful rural countryside of cenral Bohemia. Dan Vávra and his team created really something special.

I will play the game fully with all I can do (mostly even just riding around lol) and then end the game with the fully build Henry in the best equipment i can get... to wait too see how he will lose all that in the next game ;D!

Maybe you should consider to play it with Czech localisation. It was made around 1 year ago (to 5th anniversary actually) as a addition. I know that you will not understand but for maximum immersion it would be great :)

@@CommanderIvy Booty is nice, specially in some type of cloths :D Story and Side quest are pretty much mediocre, but soundtrack/audio and combat is very good. 7/10 for now.
Wow, I spent like 165 hours on my first playthrough, and even the two other "quick" ones were 92 and 60 hours. You were FAST! Although back then did you have DLCs?
But it's crazy how good returning to KCD can feel. I never replay games, but KCD just made me smile like coming home when I replayed it.
Also: They foreshadow things so many times at the early game it's crazy. :D
I played AAAAALLL the way on release, so no DLCs, and I think I had to rush the monastery part and everything that came afterwards, cause I just king of wanted to see the ending by that time. Also game didn’t run that well the further you went in, fps drops were pretty bad and I was just rushing B all the way 😅

Sorry but czech dubbing is shit. The amateurism of some actors and the imbalance of the audio is too much for me.

You kinda have to pick speech twice, or you cannot convince Lady Stephany or the Guard at the gate, and maybe the executioner. Although you can just read some books on Speech with a Bard potion.
And always go for the charisma option, while wearing your clothes and washed in a trough. That's the only way you can convince dad.

Just imagine it in real life. Henry is given some normal tasks by his father, and what does he do? He beats up the first person he comes across and ends up in prison a few minutes later. His father must be very proud.

@@CommanderIvy Charles - Karel, wenceslav - Václav, Henry - Jindřich, Zigismund - Zikmund, Ledetchko - Ledečko,atc. Developers changed original names to make it easier for English speakers. I guess Czech language is too difficult 🧐😁

right there with you! i bought and played KCD when the game was released on my PC. i recently repurchased the game on XBOX series X with all the DLC to support warhorse and I'm replaying the game! My first playthough was rushed tho i was younger and less patient so now im taking my time and fully soaking up the entire game.
Absolutely same, I unfortunately rushed the ending of my first playthrough. I want to be a little more thorough this time around. So far it’s going splendidly 😂
