How do you like the Esstac belt? It’s affordable but barely anyone has reviewed it.

Great question, I also noticed that no one really did a review on it, I was going back and forth for quite a while and just couldn't get any solid review or mention from anyone. And once I got it, I did intended on doing a separate review on each belt, once I had a little more time on the ESSTAC. As of today, I've only had it just under 6 months, but I will say, the quality control is very good, much like all of their pouches that I have encountered, being the PIstol KYWI, rifle, GP, radio (Baofeng) and their "Range bag". it does have the ability to expand or shrink, if the sizing isn't perfect, with the side tabs that are hook and loop'd down which is nice depending on what you've got loaded onto it or if you've gained or lost weight and don't just have to toss a $90 belt. It was between this belt and the Haley Strategic belt for me, and ultimately that m81 pattern just full on sold me.
That being said, they use solid materials, a real cobra buckle, the stitching and both the hook and loop sections are all very nice, on both the outer and inner belt. If you're a fan of any of ESSTAC's other products, this one wont disappoint. I would say, for the price, it might be one of the best 2 piece belts that doesn't have direct mounting capabilities like the HSP / Ronin / GBRS (All of which cost upwards of 2-3x the price) or something with Tegris inserts on it.
It's held up through 3gun matches, running around and shooting, rolling around, in and out of vehicles with it on, and it still looks brand new. I hope this information helped a bit, and now I think maybe I should just quickly double back and do an actual review of it, not just a setup.
Thanks for your question! Hope it helped!

@@blueeyesactual Dude what a great response, I appreciate it. You definitely earned the sub and swayed me on the belt. A review would be helpful for people and you would be one of the first to do so. Thanks and look forward to more content!

@@ToxicNova5 Well It's truly humbling to hear that man, I genuinely appreciate your subscribing and comments/question(s). It's fuel for the fire to keep this train moving ahead.
For sure getting that belt into the queue, now for a proper review so it can be on other people's radar, it's truly fantastic, even if you use other brand pouches and kit on it.
      Thanks again, made my day!

Very nice belts, I like the woodland one a little more just because I feel like the other one would be a bit bulky for myself. Great video!

At one point, before all the extra shit was on it, it was amazing, then I got a little too tactical timmy'd out, lessen learned. Sometimes there's a reason to have the entire kitchen sink.
But yeah, I basically only run the 'God's plaid' belt anymore. Great belt!

Noticed you don't have a dump pouch

Yeah, I've tried a couple, being the HSGI mag net? Magnet? Not sure the name off the top of my head, the blue force gear one and maxpedition Rolypoly (Really old dump pouch). Maybe I just haven't been in the right circumstances or had the need to leave one on, but I've considered adding a small one and a second rifle magazine for the ESSTAC.
Have you found them really useful? Genuinely curious, I always end up just putting stuff in my pockets or in the plate carrier / chest rig if I'm running one.

@@blueeyesactual to be honest no especially if your in a gunfight or shoot out I believe in making every second count in the time it takes you to put the empty mag in the dump pouch and then reload with a full clip you may get hit however if you let the mag drop and then reload this might make the difference for me it's about the timing in the seconds it takes you to put the mag in the dump pouch rather than just let the mag drop and then reload straight away but let's say your in a situation where there is cover you can then use that cover to reloading with a full mag and then put empty one back in the mag pouch its a far better way to secure your mags

Oh I absolutely think that there are specific situations where, similar to what you're explaining, something like stowing a partially spent magazine in a dump pouch, or re-indexing a magazine in to a magazine carrier or on some load bearing equipement, and then topping off the magazine in your firearm is 100% a great idea rather than just ditching a half spent magazine to the ground. I have messed around with it a bit, and my main take away was, as long as I'm not re-indexing magazines that are completely empty, and then make the BIG TIME mistake of then later, reloading to that magazine and ending up with an empty pistol or rifle. That could be literally the last mistake you ever make if you're in a profession or situation where that is a serious consideration.
For storage of empties, or carrying around 3-5 extra loaded magazines on the range for practice, it's absolutely a great option, same with things like carrying a water bottle, your phone, snacks and thinks like this. Even admin stuff like lights, batteries or a staple / target paster gun. I personally just struggled with them moving around and one time some loaded PMAGS jumped out of the dump pouch, which sent rounds all over the grass (expensive ammo, too). So I decided to take it off.
I might experiment with one though, again, here in the future! Been doing more competitions and think it might be a good idea to try it out. Thanks again for your comment! I really do appreciate any questions, comments and the like! Keeps me thinking about this stuff and examining a blind spot I might not know I have.
