I've owned one of these since I, too, purchased it new from Argos in approximately the early 1990s, and that's no joke, and it's still going strong all these years later. The only thing I've had to replace besides batteries, of course, is the strap, but I purchased a new original replacement, so it's just as it was back then. I still have its original box and sleeve. The box back then came in a long grey rectangular plastic one the same length as the watch, when the watch is laid flat down in its box. The Lumibrite is still going strong, and as far as I can tell, there has been no deterioration of the lume at all. People have commented how bright the lume is in the evenings. It's a great companion after all these years, and the time is always bob on. It will carry on long after I've gone, I'm sure, so long as the batteries are replaced, which unfortunately they can't do with people to keep them going forever. 👍🙂
This watch is an iconic classic yes the actual casing is 37mm BUT WHAT A DIAL ITS A SERIOUS LUME MONSTER...The best LUME watch i own by far....With having black hands legability is spot on....The original strap is ok for the price point but very short for any wrist over 6.5 inch wrist...Ive got mine on a camo bund strap at the moment... But 18mm theres plenty of strap options for this ....Great review....
Two of them! Have to admit I can see why, it is a fantastic watch to own and wear on a daily basis. Hope you enjoy yours in good health!! Cheers, Tony - WTA
These watches and dials are amazing. Have bought them a number of times over the years. The only problem is that they are TINY. I wish I had small enough wrists to carry them off. I would wear one all the time.
I have this one in my collection is a great watch very light on the wrist after charging the Lum it will glow all night makelng it easy to tell the time in the dark the only thing I find is the strap is a bit small for my wrist
The Casio W735 is a fantastic watch to own with that very useful vibrating alarm. I prefer the w735 over the AEQ-110 which I do fans a bit too busy for my liking. Cheers for commenting, Tony - WTA

Went straight out and bought it after seeing your review. Thanks, mate, it is great.
I got this a couple months back excellent lume that's last for hours
Like the watch but 2 gripes the case size 37mm is too small and the strap absorbs sweat so quite funky.
Case size is great@James-m6l6f
I really like mine. Needed a field watch in the collection. This is a great review of a great value watch.
Getting one today - Argos ❤
Hi, Tony I bough two of them because I was that impressed, no wonder they are good they are part of Seiko

A great watch. Toby Jones he wears one in The Detectorists series 😊

I like the drilled lugs 👍⌚
Got one of these as a work watch and it's been faultless, replaced the strap. I own some nice watches but still really like this, amazing value
Brilliant little watch, I replaced the mineral with crystal for £11 from Aliexpress.

Nice watch
wow... i want one, sadly cant find it for the states!
Nice watch but too small for my wrist..I opted for the Casio W - 96H in the Argos sale...and at £11.00 is a bargain ⌚😊
It is small but I got used to it.
I swapped out the strap on mine for a leather one.good lum.also have the titanium version which is even lighter.
Sekonda do a pilot watch similar to this , cream dail, black and black and blue dial.
Do a comparison between a sekonda and lorus.
Water resistance I think is different.
Nice review
The watch is nice but stuck with the Casio w735 didn't have telememo like the aeq 110w but the watch wore nicer to my 15cm wrist.
