Tip: take an old inner tube and cut it for a flap along the bottom of the door to help seal the gap. It's a simple solution to keep the cold drafts out a bit.
I'd suggest getting socket rails and organizing your sets so they're not rattling around. Also you can get racks for your wrenches. It cleans up the drawers and makes work a lot smoother.
I would do a mural or something on the inside of the garage door. Regardless the insulation and boarding of the door looks great and adds not only insulation value but cool rustic factor as well. The man cave workshop is coming togther nicely. Keep it up
I'd "invest" in a cheap spray gun and paint those walls white to brighten up the place, perhaps even paint the top wall trim to match the trim around the garage doors. BTW, love the feelgood vibe in this video - keep at it 🤘
That's some serious character not playing with the new toy before putting in the hard work 👏 End result looked 👌 in my opinion! I always find myself wanting to put snazzy colour led lighting in my bike cave, but it doesn't make sense. But when your making videos for a living it totally makes sense, so light it up!! And I always find it oddly satisfying with storage solutions for gear, like helmets and spare parts and such. MOST importantly you need your sick logo in BIG print somewhere 👀 Would be sweet to get a irregular shape of planks on the wall and burn the logo into it somehow 🔥
I'll be adding over head lights on the work bench. I really wish I had access to a projector, that way I could throw my logo on the wall and paint over it. Would look snazzy!
Filing down that depth guage tab a little every time you sharpen the cutting/chisel teeth on that saw chain will help it take a bigger bite and cut faster. Man, that door looks great! nice work!
I love it when people utilize materials from there own property. Locally sourced, you might say. It's a win win win. Looks good too. Got snow yet? It snowing in Montana.
Definitely some wall art! Maybe some clever storage to give me ideas! Also, the best thing I've put in my garage in... A... LONG time was a ceiling mounted retractable 50ft triple tap cord reel. Game changer.
i absolutely love your videos, while ia dmit some of your long gopro riding days get a bit boring all you building vids are so entertainign and amazing editing+video quality, keep up the amazing work
dream garage things: The workshop, bench area: cover the work bench on lacquer,to make it easy to clean, and not look ugly and dirt and get sticky and nasty fast assortment boxes with spare parts. better tool storage and assortment solution, maybe some kaizen foam or similar, some 3d print their own tool storage boards, some use floor mats they cut. the garage it self: indoor bike wash spot with shower drain, heated floor, air conditioning maybe, and easy to clean floor surface, a really secure garage door, that prevents a truck from ramming it and thieves going in. yes this has happen to bike shops.
one thing you could do is either throw away or sell anything you have a duplicate of, ik that's a problem I have at home lol especially seeing all your hammers makes me think you might be able to save up loads of room
I’m totally digging your wood door just a thought but would be so bad ass if you could burn your logo into the wood with a tourch and I gotta say thank you I came across your videos and now am lookin to get my first serious mtb and the plus side I live just north or Spokane so I might see you out there next season
This may be overreacting and maybe you already know but all that dust inside that enclosed space can be explosive if the right conditions are there. Dust explosion has been the cause of some major industrial accidents. The rule is you need: Confinement (garage), dispersion (car exhaust blows dust?), ignition (sparks, engine, static electricity), oxygen and fuel (dust) for a dust explosion to occur. Thanks for the great content.

This was a very satisfying video

I'd add some kind of Shredist decoration to the wall if I were you. That way you can have something cool to look at and be proud of!
great idea , your gf also could donate some of her art 👌
A wood burned shreddist logo🤘🏻
@@EnlistedTrailHeads solid idea
Good job……..I did something similar for my uncle……not for temp, but for noise …..tripled the weight n eventually broke the springs
Yep, suggest safety wires for the springs.
Really love these videos!
get some of the 6" wide 1/4" thick roll of rubber for the bottom to keep the wind and snow out.
Thats on the to do list for sure, just ran out of time this week!
What I did on my concrete block was to dry lock it. Helps with any moisture and it’s white. Brightened up the place a bunch
Next is one of thoes old school Budweiser swimsuit calenders for the wall. 😋
i absolutely love your videos, while ia dmit some of your long gopro riding days get a bit boring all you building vids are so entertainign and amazing editing+video quality, keep up the amazing work
it looks wayyyy better
Looks awesome
Aluminum foil on the windows would have really “classed” things up!
#missedopportunity
That wood does make a great backdrop. Gotta get the channel logo up on the wall somewhere!
Loving the content !
Leaf blower or battery power blower makes quick cleanup of the sawdust mess!

Looks great. I’ve been trying to figure something out for my garage door. I still haven’t got a good idea yet.
If you go this route, you'll get bigger biceps along with it....💪
@@TheShredist I can’t go that route as it’s a roll up door with an opener. I don’t think the door could weigh that much.
Do some kind of blockage to inside of the garage door so wind can't come through it, I bet it would help with heat a lot.
I've started cleaning up my garage its definitely a slow process trying to figure out where stuff should go but itll definitely be worth it in the enf
Door is dopeeee
You kind of showed us the floor mats. I think that and probably some paint on that door.
You could do something to the concrete walls so that you could screw stuff into it
I’m totally digging your wood door just a thought but would be so bad ass if you could burn your logo into the wood with a tourch and I gotta say thank you I came across your videos and now am lookin to get my first serious mtb and the plus side I live just north or Spokane so I might see you out there next season
3:23 what every man want to hear lmao 🤣
Dust collection? :)
What are the dimensions of your doors?
Needs a keg and a tap, looks cold enough you don't need a fridge.
🥶
All work and no play makes Jim a dull boy.

Stop teasing the dirt bikes already. Give us some damn Moto content my guy
Had to make a place to work on it!
