  • This video details how much debris is hidden/leftover once the brush honeysuckle is removed. if you ever have brush removed there's more to it than just cutting it down. There's always hidden chunks of concrete, ground cover/ivy and stumps.
    If just needing brush cut down that's easy! If you need grass to grow in the space it requires a little more grading, debris removal, stump grinding and site prep. Watch the whole video to see how much material is removed after another company before said the job was ready to go!

    This is excellent work. Very good, thanks for sharing. I've never ran a land leveler/plane for our sod work, but you best believe I'm going to grab one now.

    The RUclips algorithm took you out of my feed. Good to see you back.
    We just bought a Bobcat MT100 and am waiting for the harley rake attachment to come in.
    Thanks to your channel we decided to start doing it ourself instead of subbing out.
    We still have the MT85 for backup but the 100 is a beast.

    John , You are a dying breed . Either people do not care , Or do not know about doing the job right . This was a very good example of how hard work & knowledge wins all !

    Fantastic job as always John! That was a huge area! Do you typically charge a day rate for a job like that? May I ask ballpark of how you priced this one? Thanks!

    Very nice! Excellent work! I'm about to conquer my yard and I definitely need to see this. How do you like the Vermeer over the other mini skids?

    Looks fantastic man! Now you didn't need to haul in any topsoil on this job did ya? And do you tend to steer clear of seeding lawns after a project like this?

    • @SchottServices
      @SchottServices  11 месяцев назад +1

      I can but try to avoid. Just depends on what the customer needs done

    Ive always wondered if brush killer applied after grading would help keep any weed seed from germinating?

    • @SchottServices
      @SchottServices  6 месяцев назад +1

      If using glyphosate(Roundup) then no, but I know there are some sprays that sterilize the soil. But then nothing would grow!

    Good to see you again John. Another great video. When using your land plane, when back dragging, do you put a lot of down pressure or generally just float the bucket?

    • @SchottServices
      @SchottServices  11 месяцев назад

      Down pressure when dragging out debris or leveling high areas. Float once I get towards the end to fine tune it.

    Looks Great! I know your speciality is tight areas but do you ever consider possibly buying a full size track loader or mini excavator or even a small articulating loader?

    • @SchottServices
      @SchottServices  11 месяцев назад +1

      I've thought about a mini excavator but not there yet. At this point, probably not a full size skid steer because of the jobs that come my way are typically for the mini skid steer

    • @SchottServices

      No. I hauled it away in my truck

      I meant did you take to landfill and have to pay them or take to someone else for free

    • @SchottServices
      @SchottServices  8 месяцев назад

      Some dirt I have to take to landfill if it has a lot of junk in it. But I do save it often to reuse on other jobs.
