    Thank you. I said to myself - I need to be with Melanie today for Pilates and then I came here...the perfect one for this period of time in my life, with the focus of this series specifically.     I just got my Metro iQ in! I've been doing your workouts on a cheaper reformer. Wow! What a difference the IQ makes. Thank you for doing this workouts. I'm loving them!!

    Is the first video supposed to be this easy? I've never dune pilates before and just bought a reformer machine. Not sure what to expect?

      It’s a moderate intensity - the later workouts certainly do get harder. That said, I think there are likely some tweaks that will help you feel this more. I can’t say for sure without seeing you move, but I would typically recommend first and foremost that you slow all of your movements down. Focus on quality of movement and control vs. getting fast reps in - always, always go for slow control vs. power. Get a mirror in your workout space or record yourself to check your alignment. Alignment tweaks can make a massive difference in how difficult an exercise feels, especially in Pilates. Consider adding more springs or more cords if you do all of the above and it still feels too easy. I also strongly encourage you to try a live session (whether in person or remote) with a pilates instructor to get acquainted with how to feel the movements and positioning in your body. It will likely make a world of difference in how much you feel the moves and where. I hope that that helps 💜
