    OMG !!! This is the BEST tutorial for the AT2000 !!! I’ve been researching for months cause I really want one, but other tutorials were very limited. I understood everything you said and learned a lot about other things to do with the AT2000.
    I have 3 other Janome’s. Skyline9, Mc6650 and my old one was the MC9700.
    When I get the AirThread2000 , with the s9 and MC6650, I’m pretty well set! Won’t need anything else! I hope I can get a good Black Friday sale price this week! I’m in Cobourg,Ontario,Canada and I’ll be back to re-watch after I get my new AT2000 !!!
    Thanks sooo much! I’ll try and drop in next time we’re driving to Florida.
    Carla

      We'd love to have you stop by, especially since you're all the way in Canada. That would be pretty cool! I'm so glad you found the video helpful, and hope that you were able to get your new machine on Black Friday. You'll love it a lot! Thanks for watching! ~Priscila

      You are going to love it! I already have the fabric guide and this video just sold me on the piping foot! You are going to be very happy with the AT2000. It is much quieter than my previous serger. Sounds loud on the video, but in person it isn't. Threading the loopers is almost instant using the air thread.

      Thanks Dan!
      I’m so excited! I’m definitely getting the piping foot too! It’s so cool. Great for cushions for the backyard. And I’m going to serge around my quilts just before I bind them. They come out so nice and flat- no puckers.

      Google translate is magical, but alas, I still can't form a legible sentence in German to save my life, and therefore can't respond to your lovely comment in German. (One day! 😊) Nevertheless, I'm so happy that you found this video and enjoyed it. Thank you so much for watching!

    I bought this machine 12 - 18 months ago & it's still in the box. Very wet afternoon so thought I'd at least get out the instruction manual & have a look, might have been written in another language. Husband suggested RUclips ( I'm often looking up things for him). First video I found was yours, & what an eye opener! You made everything look so easy I now have the confidence to set up & practice. I'll have you beside me on my tablet though. So a big thank you for your clear & simple video. Also the booklet you had at the end, can they be bought in Australia?

    Hello thanks for explaining sergers. I have a Husqvarna 250s. It isn’t an air threader. I may be in your new shop in Duluth looking to upgrade.

    Is it worth buying the workbook?

    • @sewsewstudio
      @sewsewstudio  9 месяцев назад

      I think it is! If you want to get the most out of your serger, the workbook provides a great way for you to explore many new techniques that you would have otherwise never tried. Please let me know if you need anything else, and thank you for watching! ~Priscila

    How do we deal with the tails

    • @sewsewstudio
      @sewsewstudio  8 месяцев назад

      I've linked the instruction manual below; once there, skip to page 36, which will explain what to do with your beginning and end tails. (It explains it much better than I ever could!) If you have any other questions, I'd be happy to help, just let me know! ~Priscila

      There's no setting to help regulate this, unfortunately. Do you sew barefoot? If not, sewing barefoot might help you control the foot pedal a little bit better.
