It took me three days starting at 9:30 working till seven. I carried the shingles up on my job. They had the shingles on the roof.
They couldn’t believe it when I told them it only took me three days 😂.
I applaud you, Dude. I'm a 65 year old semiretired ConcreteMan/triathlete. At 58, I was kicking ass, running and biking with Lance, and still pouring slabs. Thought I would never slowdown. Dang. Be prepared to turn 60. Best of luck to you.
@@TheMrTslabi applaud both of I'm 87 and fix houses whilst balancing on one foot naked, after running a marathon every morning at 3am with Arnold Schwarzenegger
Exactly what my trainer always says!! Every time you lose your balance and correct, you're working that core! I love barefoot balancing exercises!
So so happy I found u , just keep it simple keep it basic im young n healthy but I can see the old being able to do all this ❤
Thank you!! Ive noticed, while ive been dancing, my stability is not what it was. I shall be doing this!
Yes! Like tree 🌳 pose in yoga. Thank you for the reminder.😊
I tie my shoes standing up with one leg straight and the other bent up which also helps train balance and my core. Love seeing how I’ve been getting better at tying my sneakers whilst keeping perfect balance. Slow progress is satisfying to observe.
EDIT. Holy smokes I will def try with my eyes shut!!
you are not alone. :D
I will start doing this.
At the moment I don't even tie my shoes. I just jam a feat into them and go.
The balance is so important!! ❤
i been focused on practicing this my whole life, balancing is the art of controlled falling and knowing your awareness. i love doing it in the dark, shadow yoga.
That’s why I like doing Martial Arts kicks as well and hold your leg out to the side, front and back for as long as you can.
I do this in a top secret kumite when I sidekick my oponent in the face and as he slow motion falls to the ground I keep my leg extended head height as the audience roars in satisfaction and the reporter/ love of my life watches in awe.

I think that would really burn some calories!
Thanks for sharing.
I'm going to try that when I'm older!

Your Shidoshi approves.
I've been taught it & have taught taught it. Good reminder.
Thank you🌟
You’re welcome 😊
This video made me stand up and laugh at my imbalance.
Gotta have DISCIPLINE to do the simple things
Yes indeed, patience as well as consistency are essential for growth.
Well said
It’s so true, no one successful just woke up like that, it’s the work u put in.
what do you mean most people don’t even exercise, i domt think this is a particularly good way of getting people into resistance training and cardio
Thank you! I’m trying to get back into shape, carefully, because of a hiatal hernia and reflux. This looks like it will help my core. Mad I didn’t think of it.
Been teaching this 15 years +. You can also use a bosu ball or a foam pad to make it advanced! Great great overall mind body strength connections!
I like it. It's not easy and I feel it.
I’ve never considered this and it makes perfect since. I’m gonna start this right away.
Since when
You’re the king of functionality 🙌🏾💪🏽👊🏽
Also strengthens ankle stability. I've used this in cooling down from running for decades! 💜
I had an outstanding physical therapist who told me to work on 1 leg balancing. I tire easily n eventually step down, but I am making progress on catching myself... Great reminder!!
brilliant!
brilliant!!
Great advice! Thanks for sharing 🙏💪
I actually really enjoy doing balance exercises.
me too, theres was a tightrope put up at a school near my place and I go on it every time I pass by
You're a healer!!!!
Skateboarding introduced me to this a long time ago, great workout!
Never seen such a effective exercise to help with core strength explained so well 👏
This won't strengthen your core, it will help improve balance
@@olivercarter5546 "element of core strength" - but what do you mean by your comment?
I love the way you explained certain moves or for balancing you and health of the hips❤ this is the most about it won't let you know I seen in a long time😊
Mountain biking is another underrated exercise for core strength.
I’m doing this in the morning before my job interview ❤
preach it bro , make them better, HALLELUJA!
20 years ago. I had a spinal cord injury. The doctor told me. I was never going to walk or move around unassisted again. In a wheelchair for two years and on a cane for six or more years. He is 100% right. It took a long time. Balance is what help me get strong again. I fell a lot. I can go for a light jog now. No cane. I am not 100% but I learned to move.
Awesome work! More people need to hear things like this 💪🏼
Well, good on you for teaching it!
Nice to see you again. RUclips forgot to recommend you.
❤
They were right. Wisdom comes from Ireland.
This dude is on another plain. Super right
I love the how effective simple exercises are!
This isn’t something just for old people your core (and ankles/hip stability) is one of the most important things all through life and should be focused on at all levels of training.
Amen! Here's something everyone can and should do: when drying yourself with a towel after a shower, dry your legs by raising them one by one instead of hunching down. Free core/balance exercice, takes no time, and hopefully, you do it everyday.
Balancing exercises while you and the floor are wet and you're near hard surfaces possibly not the best advice.
@@Valchrist1313 mhm, didn't even think of that, and I've been doing it for years. I do it on dry surface usually, or with a "bathroom carpet" (don't know how these are called, not native English). I always dry a few steps away from the shower, but I heard some people do it IN the shower, and yeah, those would need to be extra careful/change their habits.

You are so welcome 🙏
Thank you for this.
😊I love it, it was a fun past time as kid when I was on a ledge.
It’s so funny how when we get a bit older we try and be smarter with exercise and end up stopping the beneficial stuff 😂
