I remember that "Hunger" was the first metal song I've ever heard in my life. I was 12 years old then. And that's when my journey with heavy metal started. To this day, I remember every liryc line word-by-word, and Amaranthe still have a very special place in my heart and my mind.
One thing I took from this video: If I ever get kidnapped, I can call Amaranthe, and expect them to drop everything to come save me. Lol
I learned that the vocalists always get into trouble and the other guys are the responsible ones who have to go rescue them.
I learned that apparently they let secret service dudes wear mohawks now!

Deejaykay I found this group yesterday and i'm becoming a big fan of this group.
The sound this band is offering to the genre is pretty different from what I've heard so far. They are mixing nice pedal work, with awesome guitars and solos and very catchy voice melodies and choruses. I listen to a wide variety of metal on a daily basis, and this band really amazes me. Can't stop listening to them, even when I'm at work lol

You know why I like this?? Because it dares to be different! The metal community are in general a bunch of elitists and critics, so any band that does this type of stuff I appreciate because it pisses the flock off because its not "Brutal" or "Heavy" enough. Diversity is what leads to growth and progression.
I listen to everything and appreciate alot of different styles and expressions. That is what makes music so important to human evolution, it can change who you are at a very deep level.

I have never heard of such nonsensical travesty as I listen to nearly anything and everything that don't sound so hallowly shitty like todays rap, country and rock does now as they all sound identically the same which by gods spare me from my ears bleeding for mercy lol All in all forever gonna follow the artists I love over this sadly comment I did not mean to ramble on.

I found this vid by mistake when searching for NIGHTWISH - Amaranth. i clicked on the link and was BLOWN away. Instantly I searched out the band on RUclips watched all the vids. Got online and ordered a few CDs. This vid made me a fan!
Why do people on hate on these sort of bands, If you like a song, whether because it's catchy or the riff. It shouldn't matter about what Genre It is, music should give you goosebumps, they're clearly doing something right.

i love the fusion from,electro,metalcore ,Speed and Powermetal.I hate growl metal songs,but this is fucking awesome,they find a balance between hard edged growling (understand the lyrics) and a very powerful fermale voice.Its very catchy

I've said it many times, Patric Ullaeus is the best music video director on the planet. I would pay full motion-picture prices and stand in a ticket line just to watch a collection of his finest work on the big screen (and maybe with popcorn).

I have been listening to amaranthe for almost 3 years now, and this is the first time I have ever watched this music video.

What a lady, what a voice, what a sound. Hell yeah!!!!!
Amaranthe has that nice style of slow and brutal growling, and then accelerating into an uplifting rush .
Can't WAIT to see these guys tomorrow at The Gothic Theater in Denver. 1100 seat arena, gonna be like a private performance with these guys and Within Temptation, my two favorite symphonic metal groups.

I could care less how attractive she is, the 3rd guy with the aggressive vocals is what makes this band so incredible.
I love that this band is ORIGINAL.. isn't that what people are always asking for and then when they get it, some hate on it. Makes no sense.
It's POP metal meets POWER metal meets I guess BLACK metal with the growling and it somehow WORKS.
It's not their fault all their songs are so damn catchy and that they are successful at coming up with good sounds and hooks - that doesn't magically make it mainstream. The average, non metal fan prob. won't enjoy this but I love it.
Good for them. Keep it up.

Isto é apenas a minha opinião e acredito ter direito de expressa-la....banda interessante,eu nao conhecia ainda este grupo e achei curioso como fazem o metal e o pop andarem de mãos dadas em suas canções,geralmente ha tanta discussão besta sobre quem é o melhor estilo e tal,mas Amaranthe não parece ter essa dificuldade em harmonizar ambos em uma coisa só,agradando tanto aqueles que gostam de rock como aqueles que apreciam pop ou ambos,como o meu caso,gostei muito e acabaram de ganhar mais um fan,adorei simplesmente amei o estilo deles.
I used to be a heavy metal hater for years. But after I discovered Amaranthe last December, I started to like it. Listening to Amaranthe also got me listening to other metal bands such as Nightwish, Sabaton, Delain, Dragonforce, Kamelot, and of course Arch Enemy. Listening to these guys got me liking heavy metal. I like that not all of it is evil and awful and scary. There are huge varieties of metal and I did not know that until now. I went from being a heavy metal hater to a heavy metal lover.
Do you know Eluveitie? Ensiferum? Highly recommend those two!

This is a very unique hybrid of Lacuna Coil, Nightwish, Linkin Park ans small amounts of many symphonic metal sounds.
It will certainly help to push the symphonic genre into a new phase.

There is no reason to hate them. In fact it needs great deal of work to present something different than others.Though called metalcore,they are actually much different from prototyped metalcore.Everyone should pay kudos to them. It takes great deal of talent to fuse rock,pop and metal vocalists together.

The music video is pretty much just a combination of the things they like. The Olaf likes classical music, so he's playing the violin. Morten likes cars, so he's working on cars. That's really all it is, designed to look like some awesome action movie. :)

Amaranthe have some very good songs. Over and done, drop Dead cynical, digital world, Countdown and the nexus to name just a few. I don't think the new stuff is bad either, but I like Insatiable and damnation flame the best so far.
