    I like the new angle which i think is better and looks a lot closer to the fly, must try this out for a pike fly in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿☺️👍🏼

    Good video young man. I've watched you tye this and the pheasant rump so many times, I've lost count. I'm just going to order the kit. Thank you Grammer for what you do ( especially for those of us with limited vice time ).

    The new angle is the way to go. And it's always nice to see the fly in the water. I'm gonna tie this with a 7" brush on a tube. Keep up the good work.

    Outstanding tutorial Gunnar. I like the camera angle because we can see the prep work. The only downside is the tying light creates a "white out" at times. Thanks for experimenting.

    I like the new camera angle. Prefer reverse tie bucktail hollow fleyes for esox, but appreciate the synthetic evolution too! Great work!

    Great new camera angle, please keep it up. This fly is awesome and now getting some attention here in Australia for Barramundi fishing in low viz conditions

    I prefer traditional. It is more personal vs instructional. In this video I have a voice and a fly happening with hands flashing away. With traditional I have you, facial expressions, hand gestures - communicating with me. I’m in your house.

      Really appreciate the feedback Derrick! I think for future vids I'll do my best to run two cameras and switch between the two. Keep me updated when they are released. Keeping it personable is the most important to me!

    Great stuff Gunnar. You've got a great eye for colors and layering of textures. This one is mostly synthetic, the hollow body BULKhead you did a video on is mostly natural/bucktail. Does that change how they fish? Any big differences in action?

    • @Gunnar_Brammer
      @Gunnar_Brammer  5 лет назад

      Hey Adam, The major differences is that the natural flies "breathe". The reason to tie synthetic versions is that high quality natural materials are hard to come by. Finding perfect 5" long hair for hollow tying and coarse thick hollow hair for bulkhead tying is hard to come by. But, with a synthetic version, I can still generate the same silhouette, or overall action...say a Jerk fly, or a Water Push fly...but synthetic flies tend not to have the same "Pulse". The flies still swim, but they don't have that "movement without moving" quality. Natural materials just swim even if you don't animate the fly, but synthetics need you to tell them what to do.

    Just wandering.....I have a lot of "protube soft disks" and I was thinking if I could use them to splay the EP's like the BC tube. What do you think???

    I really like the new camera angle. Have the idea of two cameras with multiple angles crossed your mind?
    I think when you film infront of you ( how u usually film ) it's better focused. But this was not bad.
    I would love a dual setup 🤭
    But really happy that you share all your knowledge.

    Hey there. I just ordered a vice and I’d like to get into making some small mouth streamers. Can you recommend a style you make that would be affordable to get started? I was thinking maybe fuzz jr. how many with the ep foxy brush make? I see saddle hackles like you used are $60, that’s too much to get started.

    How do you pack these large profile flies when your out fishing? Would be a terrible to flatten the nice loft you’ve built in.

    Beautiful tie! Ever did an Allspark with ripple ice fiber? The new camera angle is awesome!
    You seem to have an audio disturbance when using the front view tho.

    Tied up one of these last night - great fly! Have you done an articulated, multi hook version. I am trying to figure out how to do that. Any thoughts on fly size to hook size ratio?

    Gunner. Great tying!
    Have you ever tied this Bulkhead Allspark in a weighted or heavy metal tube?

    • @FT4Freedom
      @FT4Freedom 3 года назад

      Dude yes. Get it down to the depth you need. Add weight to the spine of fish by using heavier hardware.

    Gunnar- nice fly man. Keep it up- keep trying new things. Can't wait for the Fall release lol. Do you have a schedule in mind? I think you should pick 1 day to drop them, and do a live video Q&A sometime via IG or RUclips.
