great tying dude!! i love that sparsly tied tail section with a tremendous profile to even push water and then the head makin' a lot of "noise/pressure" in the water!! i was really stoked about how u catch the reversed bucktail! lookin great bud'!! a lot of input here!! great deal!! thanks for sharing!! thumpz up!!! best regards!!
Thank you Alois for the feedback. That reverse tie I learnt from the Americans and I have to say I prefer it to building a dam, especially when using GSP. Keep tying those awesome flies
I don't mean to sound greedy, and Im sure you're super busy, bit could you please do more videos? Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Have a great day!
Learning as I go, so hopefully the content will increase as I get better at all the post production. I could produce three a week but the quality will be poor, therefore I prefer to put the effort in like I do with my tying. Thanks for the kind words
What vise are you using? I was pretty tempted to buy the Jean Petitjean master vise, but man I can do a lot more for the buck specially when im getting my first kid around august.
I’m new to tying so please forgive me if this is a stupid question. Is there an advantage to using the shank instead of a second hook as a base for the tail?
The shank is there more to lengthen the fly as bucktail is short over in the UK. I tie them various ways. Shank at the back, front or not at all. It's not necessary if you can get Primo tail
Beauty of a fly. I really appreciate tiers that economize and maximize their tying materials, especially with today's prices of materials.
Awesome tutorial. There isn't any good ones on RUclips so it was awesome to finally get one.
Thanks Mike
Watched the ad hope you got paid! That’s my thanks for making the awesome video. Cheers.
Phenomenal tying. Way to go and thanks tons for sharing your skills!

Nice work Paul, I like how you've made it a bit lighter than the average musky fly.
Cheers Martyn. Need to be able to cast it on my nine weight, so that thought is always there with big flies
Yeah totally agree, I often think the musky guys get a bit caught up in just making the biggest fly often to the detriment of fishing/movement
Very nice fly, I like the red and white pattern also especially for musky 🤘
that was awesome! thanks for teaching this fly!
Amazingly well tied! 👌
Nice tutorial Paul. Cheers!
My pleasure Ian
Nice fly
Very nicely done Paul
Thanks Peter

Using the Peak Rotary now, which is cheaper than the Anvil Atlas and better in my opinion.
