dam sucks about the big bore. if you wanted to you could tear motor down split the cases use a dremel or die grinder to make new cylinder fit. Lot of work but the dowel pins locate the cyl square with the crank so all that matters is clearance. I know a yx160 isn't to cheap but I guess that would get you to a 184cc. They say the 184cc is one of the best engines. I think you'll like the 150 with that v2 head though alot. bike looks so clean. can't wait to see them new graphics. good content love your channel.
Bummer man, but like you said you will still have tons of fun riding that bike at the race. Maye you should build a second bike with the new motor? Should always have a back up right lol
The tb parts big bore kit will work for that motor it’s just a yx150 it actually takes the same head and cylinder as the yx160 the only difference in the two is the stroke of the crankshaft.. so you can get a stock 60mm cylinder or upgrade to the big bore 62mm cylinder
Looking awesome man Love the braided lines Really adds to the look Hope all your an sizes are correct was a headache for me But worth it for sure Spewing about your cylinder I’m sure tbolt would swap it If that’s what you wanna do Where did you get your intake from? I’ve been looking for ages for one coz I want to face my carb forward
I have a video on here of me building an rfz engine..but they dont make that kit anymore..but they do make a 146cc big bore kit for the 125 engine.. Go to tb parts website and search 146cc
Bro I went through the same ordeal. Everything was supposed to be bolt on but not true at all. I have a YX150 and I had to bore my engine case. The only difference is I had a 67mm cylinder you have a 64mm. I really thought the 64mm cylinder would fit. That is bad information or bad quality control if some cylinders fit and some cylinders don't.

Is there any way you can just bore out the cases and get that problem dealt with? I would hate to let the fact sink in that you spent $500 for nothing
Well its tough because your limited by the stud spacing. Some engines like the gpx bottom end has bigger spacing then the 125s
Bore the case
Looking awesome man
Love the braided lines

But worth it for sure

Can I put this exact kit onto a Apollo 125 RFZ?
No..you need to order the 146 kit from tb parts for the 125 engine
@@1E11evenMoto dam will that make the pit bike a little faster?
Lots faster
@@1E11evenMoto nice because I also have a ZS155 and that was the big bore kit for it the guy at the dealership said it will be like a mini CRF250R
Yea it will make it a 177cc I believe and it’ll definitely be a monster my 170 has more torque than my 190
Where do you get your parts
Before i was Factory ordering from ebay..amazon..tbolt..and other pitbike stores online..
