      @@JesseK410 hey I’m in worcester. Would you help me fix something on my pit bike? I’ll pay whatever you charge for an hourly rate. I need someone who knows these bikes well to help with some upgrades.
      I need someone to replace my front shock oil with a hes or weight and put in those shims to stiffen it up for now until I can do a full upgrade. And at the end of the season I want to build a 160cc engine. I saw your video of the race head etc on the Lifan 150 making it a 160. I’d like to do that when the season slows down a bit. Would you do this for cash?

      Hellyeah thanks man. I will probably do a daytona 190 swap into a SSR TX eventually haha, so far ive done the YX 140, 150, 160 and 184cc engines bc there that much lighter and close in HP… I have a new SSR Slowracer build that im going to be doing here soon thats getting a daytona 190 in it. Should be pretty sick!

      On this bike its the air filter sticking not the carb, the carb doesn’t surpass the side shroud plastic..button style air filter would be mint but this isn’t to in the way i wouldn’t have a problem with it

      ​@@JesseK410just the angle of the carb making the filter stick out and the top subframe mount being right there sucks. The angled filter I got sits right against it. I'll have to send you what I do when I modify the intake.

      @@LoCoFab717 thats really the best its gonna get with this big of a carb brotha trust me it cant go any further in bc the carb cap hits the frame its legit as good as ita gonna get without notching the frame or running a different intake or carb thats smaller…if i had a welder and welded it like i did with my mm12p it would still be in the same spot.. long as the carb isn’t hitting the frame or subframe its good but as far as getting the air filter not to stick out it’s impossible on this frame running it facing the rear

      I have honestly never used one, but it sounds like it could be promising. I have been just using the v2 race heads . Ill have to test out the 4 valve head one of these days

      I think by memory they tested it against the v2 and it falls flat
      Apparently they where poorly designed have a look on planetminis should be able to find the info plus the money they sell for would get a v2 with a port job and would shit all over the 4 valve yx

      I think the customer is going to keep it as a spare. But its a old engine i would recommend getting a new YX160cc bc they are a new design and cases are reinforced, much better engine than the 150 that came out of this

    What jetting do you run on the nibbi pwk? I've got three yx140s, all with nibbies (pe26 and pwk 26)

      What size jets are you running in then now? It really all depends on your environment, temperature and elevation..im at sea level and ride in cooler weather usually

      @@JesseK410 running a 110 main, 42 pilot, 1 3/4 out on pilot. Mind you it's a motard build, and has a velocity stack with no filter on. Runs sweet but I find the PWKs to be very temp sensitive. Also I'm at sea level or 300m above sea level, 20-35°C ambient temp.

      @@WesleyCharlesBlake yeah but the PWK is a better carb if you wanna make all the power the pe28 are inconsistent i use to run one an switched to all PWKs now but i would recommend just reading your spark plug an adjust the jetting based on what the color of the plug looks like, the bottom portion is the top end range the middle is gonna be your mid range (clip adjustment) and the top portion of the spark plug can tell you idle range and timing on the strap of the plug up top..
      the spark plug doesn’t lie i like to say haha. And make sure you start with a fresh plug to get accurate reading. You wouldn’t be able to use an old spark plug and change the jetting and try to tell bc the used plug already has carbon build up on it, unless its running to lean and is still white of course…

    hey man i wanted to reach out to you im paning on making a 190cc daytona pit bike build for the dunes sense its for the dunes i want a crazy amount of torque and i will buy a big bore 212cc kit to install on it but i was wondering if there was any more upgrades i could do to make it even more powerful/

    Any way to tell the difference between 170tx forks and zokes can’t tell wich I got on this build I picked up look like zokes to me but can’t tell they look so similar

      Yeah the zokes will have M symbol engraved on the fork lugs on each side, the SSR one’s dont. Also the zokes have 9 inches of travel an the ssr forks only have 8 so its pretty easy to tell them apart

    Can you make a video on the heat cycle after a rebuild I’ve never done it before

      When i say heat cycles all i mean is letting it run at idle for about 5min or until its up to temperature and then shutting it off letting it cool completely and then doing it over again, i like to do 3-4 heat cycles and then ride it, change the oil and then basically go full bore haha! 😂

      @@pv2443 no grease or oil on the gaskets but you could use assembly lube on the gears and things if you got the bottom end apart but long as you dont put things back together metal on metal theres no need cuz once u add oil it will soak in immediately. Only places I recommend using as assembly lube would be on like the camshaft in certain areas that won’t instantly get oil upon starting it up for the first time after the rebuild yaknow

      bikes can’t handle 3rd and 4th gear clutch dumps and that’s what I was doing to mine right before I seized it, is that why u get upgraded clutch springs?/whats can I do to prevent this problem and get reliability out of itb

      @pv2443 dumping the clutch shouldn’t seize the engine unless you were holding it off the rev limiter for like a minute before you let go of the clutch, worst thing dumping the clutch would do is either break your transmission or burn up / blow apart the clutch unit.
      Most likely if it seized up the piston got to hot, over heated and then swelled up and locked up inside the cylinder. Doing clutch springs just makes it so the clutches are squished together stronger and helps prevent clutches from slipping thats really about it, they wont stop your engine from breaking if your beating the bag out of it haha

      Oh sweet!
      I used a combination of different bike plastics and i had to customize the front fender to fit.
      Gas gas 65 front
      Klx110 side shrouds
      Kx65 restyled rear fender
      Bbr v2 style side number plates

    hey i have a question hopefully you could help.. so im looking at picking up one those ssr pit bikes im looking at getting the 140 im wondering what parts from other pit bikes would fit on it im having a hard time finding stuff about it the only thing i can find for it is pro circuit makes a pipe thats says it for the ssr

      The SSR 140 TR is the one with the TTR110 Plastics and the YX140 engine so there is a bunch of parts you can get from Tboltusa.com for it and even the stock yamaha ttr110 plastics fit. Personally i like the 160 TX SSR better than the 140TR because the 160TX has better suspension and swingarm and its klx110 based frame with a better engine

      @@JesseK410 the only place that can get ssr bikes around here cant get the 160 or i would go for one of them idk why they cant get the 160 but it what they said to me.. i would have to take like a 10 hour drive to get to anywhere else that sells the ssr bikes also thanks for the info

      @@halocdpsn thats because the 160 TX is discontinued they only make the 160 TR model now but the TX was the better built bike for sure. They probably discontinued it because they could make more profit on the TR bike. It must be cheaper to manufacture than the TX was i would assume. You can always look for one used they sell for about 1200 pre owned

    ive got a stock yx160 myself, its currently running pretty lean on a 24 mm round slide carb, should i get a 28 pwk or 30 pwk? its going to be used mostly full gas on the road and sometimes on a small track

      Definitely a pwk28mm.. careful running it lean your gonna kill the top end and potentially seize the valves

      I’d go with a 26 mm on a 140-160 it seems to be the best size and should be easy tuning for a motor that size if your not doing any upgrades to your head

      @@denniskonko2555 yeah on 140cc i ran the pwk26mm but on 160cc definitely wanna run the 28mm the 26 is to small to get the true potential of the 160 engine..in my experience anyways

      @@denniskonko2555 i got a pwk33 on one of my daytona engines so for a 212 a 30mm carb would be mint..check the crf150R they run a bigger carb and there only 150cc just like the daytona they are also 4 valve so ide say most people running small carbs

      Definitely dont get a pe28 the pwk is way better. You wanna have that power jet completely closed off, thats only for 2 stroke applications, what jetting you got in there?

      @@benandjoshprod yep tighten it till it stop and thats closed. I usually run the clip in the middle position but if you adjust to where it is now than leave it. The 110 main seems small they come with 118 main jet I usually run a 115 but like i said if you dialed it in and the 110 is running good on the top end and the plug isn’t white down inside then your mint

      @@benandjoshprod yeah a base setting is always start with on them carbs is 32 pilot, 118 main and clip in middle position and tune from there based on the color of the plug from the top to the bottom, bottom being the main jet range, top being the pilot jet range

      Mostly because the valves that come in the stock heads are weak and stretch then snap off and kaboom! Bye bye piston and top end lol.. they often have issues with broken kicker gears bc of the compression and decomp spring often being weak and causing issues with the decompression unit. Sometimes it will cause what we call kick back and thats what breaks the gear off inside..

      @@kenrobinson-f4m its a solid engine for sure if you dont beat on it to bad and do oil changes often you will be good but if you race it i would suggest building the head and mbe some stiffer clutch springs but otherwise they fine long as you start them up correctly and have it jetted right

      Fair enough I’ve been thinking of getting the piranha 190? I want something solid and reliable but don’t know much about these bikes

      @@ZTLifts there all good depending how you build them, from the factory none are really race ready in my opinion they all need to be gone through

      @@ZTLifts take apart the whole bike and go over make sure its put together good and wont just rattle apart .. i use lock tight on all the bolts and make sure to lube everything up bc they usually dont from factory they just slap them together quick

      Yeah you can do some mods to the ssr 110 but your best bet is probably just to upgrade to one of these SSR TX bikes, its a huge improvement over the ssr 110 chassis is and way better suspension and already comes with a YX160cc
