From someone who raced a Suzuki TM-250 in the early seventies, it's nice to see young folks involved with the sport, on affordable bikes. My Suzuki right out of the crate was less than eight hundred smackers! Great channel my friend! W.F.O. 👍👍🇺🇸
@@mxrevival Right back at ya my friend. The price of bikes is insane. I think I will stick to my klr650. I really think the Chinese bikes have come a long way, and really are primo for your buck. I would consider a 450 for sure, but money is tight right now. Like I said amigo, Great channel, I'll be a watching!
So Charles has convinced me, im the proud owner of a new sr300! Already started converting it for dual sport use and am using it as a daily! Looking forward to making use of all your tips and tricks man!
So awesome Jeffrey! Congratulations on your new 300! Nothing on earth like getting a new bike. I think I might be inspired to go dual sport with mine too especially since it's easy to get a plate here in Idaho. Can't wait to help you with all the fun mods on my website, and I just came up with an idea I want to show the 300 crew soon too....
Damn Sick clean 🧼 set. Yoooooo! Got my Lectron Carb 2 weeks ago and she rips and performs amazing cold start first press every time! Thanks brotha for all your time and investment into these bikes! 🍻
Hi Charles, are you still riding this bike? I am wondering how is the motorcycle holding up in the long run? Would be cool if you gave us a quick update, because one thing is trying out a fresh new motorcycle, and seeing how it runs after let's say 20 hours is something completely different. (That's the best way to know if it's actually worth the money.)
Great question! The SSR has been sold. In my opinion, these engines are basically the “Honda Civic” of the Chinese dirt bike world. Millions and millions of them made and they go into all sorts of things like quads, DirtBikes, S street motorcycles overseas, etc. They have a really good reputation as well as three stainless steel filters inside. Why they do break, parts are so incredibly cheap. Hopefully that helps, thanks for watching!
Thanks G! I haven't actually done a Phoenix specific review yet, no. Excited for you to try them! As for riding videos, so bummed the last one got screwed when I dropped the GoPro out on the trail for the whole day. Can't believe I even found it. I do have some some older ones though. If you get bored they are in the playlist for this bike, riding at Hollister Hills and on the MX track at Glen Helen 😎
@@mxrevival I’ve seen all your videos already lol I meant now that you got it all tricked out .. I just finished up my first build in like 15 years on an 05yz250 now time for another one.. sent you photos on IG when you have time
Sick Charles, that came out clean! I’d like to rip an ssr 189 for my Mrs… are u hearing anything good about them, cause yours seems good for beginner dirt biker.
Thank you! DeCal Works is definitely making it easy on me, and all of my riders! I don't really have any information on the 189, but I will say this- I would absolutely love to have one too! Super cool little pit bike with inverted suspension and a full cradle frame unlike a TTR from Yamaha, for example.
Finding high performance parts for these things though is not easy it sucks pretty much trying to make my sr250 a monster but it's really hard to find high performance valves valve springs cams and a whole bunch of other things
Do you ever get whining from your transmission? Goes away when the clutch is engaged, and is consistent with engine speed. Doesnt seem to have any adverse affects, but its loud enough to be distracting.
Yes, we carry plastics, graphics and custom seat covers for your SR250. Reach out using the contact link on our website anytime. Happy to help. mXrevival.com
Hey Charles, do you have a contact st Decal Works...people ask me all the time for graphics on Kayos..K6-R , K6 EFI and KT250 .....They could probably get some sales if they made them
Absolutely brother, they offered me exclusivity last year for all customer kits and bike builds. That's actually how I set up mXrevival Rider Discount. I wanted to be able to get them to my guys for less as part of the "deal". So it was nice to be recognized and also nice to be able to help everyone else too. Main problem with the Kayo is that it isn't a direct clone of anything, body wise. Unless I'm wrong, I know it looks like a KTM, but doesn't actually use KTM plastics right? That's partially why it's been easier to do the SSR's. Due to the fact that they will accept Honda plastics. And even though the sr300 has its own specific shrouds, those are possible because I purchased the handmade templates from my good friend who initially helped me create a kit for the sr300. He's no longer doing graphics, so I've given that template to DCW.
@@mxrevival so from what I know about my K6-R ..it has KTM front ,side and rear plastic...it's the radiator shrouds that are Kayo only...but they are not to far off if a 2019 Honda from what I've been told.
Anyone know where to get radiator guards if Honda radiators don't fit my bike I really want to throw Honda radiators on my sr250s so I can put normal fans on it to keep it cool I ride it on the road more than anything
Has anyone checked their valves during the break-in period of the bike because I never checked my valves and now there's somewhat of a small tab I don't know if it's normal or if I screwed up by not checking the valves the thing runs great it does 80 mph it's a sr250s I also run high octane in it
Great question! It's commonly $79. But what is awesome is that, the mXrevival Rider Discount usually ends up being about $50 off. So technically you could end up getting your decals installed for about $20. So worth it! I will never install my own graphics again if I don't have to 🤣
I don’t really know what comes in a “Kit” but one way or another that could definitely be made a reality. Even if it means lacing up different rims to the stock hubs
@@mxrevival mainly referring to what bike is it beaded off of at least the suspension components kit is mainly referring to the rims and the break systems that you have to change out in order to convert it to supermoto
I have a brand new 2022 sr250s with six speed gos 80mph does anyone else have six speeds on their stock sr250s I have not met anyone else and don't know why I seem to have one that has six speeds
So can I throw plastics on from any year CRF450R or is it just 2016 or can I go 2016 and up I really like the new plastics on the 2022 Honda if I could do that fully that would be great
I'm guessing it's not an SSR then 💪 That's great, I prefer that newer body style myself. There are so many variants of Chinese bikes now, lots of options for people
Yeah let me buy really flimsy Plastics to protect my rad so when I dump the bike you completely squishes my rad doesn't sound like a good idea the stock SSR Plastics have done me pretty well the first time I took my bike the radiator got squashed a little but not bad
Nice videos. I just pick up my ssr300 because of watching your first video.

Always a good watch. The plastic mods on this bike, with those new decals make that bike look the Bees Knees.

What plastics fit trail master tm31 & tm33 ?
Do you ever get whining from your transmission? Goes away when the clutch is engaged, and is consistent with engine speed. Doesnt seem to have any adverse affects, but its loud enough to be distracting.
No, but you may want to check your bearings associated with the clutch basket and the throw out rod
The SR250 have a different frame from SR300, does this honda body kit still fit to the SR250?
