Hey, sis! in today's video we are breaking down the 6 different ways that God speaks. Sometimes the idea of hearing from God can feel illusive but when you know what to look for, you'll quickly realize God is talking more than you make think! Through the video, I share what some of these methods of communication with God have looked like for me in my walk with Him and I also share how some of these forms of communication from God have shown up in the Bible. hey, sis! today's question is what is the way that God most often speaks to you and what way you'd love to hear from God?
for me: God most consistently speaks to me through The Bible!! and i would looove to experience hearing from God through a vision!
literally. same. from the Bible! literally makes the words to come to life when God speaks directly about something. if that makes sense?
Through my dreams
1. His Word and visions/dreams is a close second. I hear from him though all six ways. I do NOT put God in a box so I am always paying attention to #6.
for me: the Holy Spirit! and I would love to hear from God through dreams!!

Dreams seem to be God's way of communicating with me...also through others. Like I'll be going through something and I be listening to a radio or podcast, and the person will seem to speak directly to my situation. It no longer creeps me out...now I just say "okay Lord, thank you!" Lol...He's so sweet and patient with us. ❤
So sweet, thoughtful and considerate of us. He knows us to our core, that’s why you’ll get your messages through media streams you frequently use. Imagine a being paying attention to you so intentionally 🥹🫶🏾
Me too I click on random podcast I all sudden get message of what I going through on that day or scripture I was just reading scripture a video bring up that scripture in video also I dream about other people

Dreams are one of the ways God communicates with me as well!

1) Holy Spirit we are given Truth of scripture by the spirit and are comforted by it. Even a satin worshipper can read and understand the physical message of scripture. it takes the Holy spirit to reveal the spiritual truth fond in the word of God. God spoke to HIS CHOSEN people (JEWS ONLY) by various ways and means. IN the OT. NOW because Jesus has fulfilled all things SPOKEN. we await fulfillment of all things written now. We are spoken to by the Spirit of God through Truth of His Word. this is the ONLY way God speaks to us now. Satin masquerades as the Holy spirit and works threw emotions and feelings, the spirit of God works threw the mind/Knowledge of His word. but make no mistake without the Spirit of God we are Spiritually blind to see the bibles spiritual meaning. Hence, 1 way. its apon this truth that we see and feel God working in our life and we grow in faith. but make no mistake their is ONLY ONE way God speaks to us....
1.His word during Bible study
2.Dreams
3.Other people to confirm a word He's given me eg a RUclips video, a sermon, a friend
4. When I pray in the Spirit,He deposits something and I Will write it down.

The Lord usually speaks to me through dreams/visions, through others, and his word. We would definitely love a part 2.
Through songs...like I'll wake up humming a song or hear a song I haven't heard or thought of in like a decade.
You hit the nail on the head with the very first one! I have recently started to pray before reading my Bible and the last thing I usually say is “Lord you know better than I what I need most, please lead me to your word.” Then I will open my Bible to what he leads me to and I promise EVERY SINGLE TIME. It’s exactly what I need. I’m literally crying typing this because it really shows me Gods love for me and I’m so humbled & grateful.
Sometimes He speaks to me through music, or even through a RUclips video….it’s amazing the way God chooses to speak to us….it’s so important to know it’s Him
I found faithful counseling through you on your Daniel Fast video. I felt God was calling me to watch that video which lead me to do a fast myself! I feel so light and renewed after being in a dark place for so long! Love your videos and thank you so much! ❤

i was also led to fast based on watching her Daniel fast video and I went from having a job i could no longer work into getting into a job and field I could not get into for months. This new job is everything i was looking for in a job just in the wrong places.
Aw! God has spoken to me many times. One moment that always makes me tear is when I was a PCA at a hospital. I had a very sick patient. He was using a high flow of oxygen, water in his lungs, every movement left him out of breath. He was my patient for a week and a half? Anyways, I went out of my way to make him feel
Comfortable (I really cared for him). I purposely picked up a 12 hour shift on Father’s Day (I don’t have a good relationship with my father). Before my shift ended I saw him getting out of bed and I tried to get him back in bed because he was struggling so much. But he refused and kept getting up to give me a hug. I have received hugs before but wow the hug my patient gave me felt so different. I cried ALL NIGHT. I truly believe God gave me a hug through my sick patient . God knew I was in so much pain on Father’s Day and he knew I needed that hug. Specifically from a male. I didn’t know I needed it, nor did I know I was in pain. It’s so beautiful that God did that for me. Because I feel so guilty having so much resentment towards my father but God knowing my heart still decided to give me the hug. He’s so beautiful loves me no matter what. I know one day I need to forgive my father but for right now the best decision is to keep him out of my life and just pray for his saving. I know God is listening and the saving will come on his timing.

Through dreams! I always wanted that audible voice experience I’ve seen some people describe but thinking about it … maybe not. I realised that it’s just a blessing to be able to hear from God in any way He sees fit. Thankful and grateful for videos like this!
I can relate I use always want hear God audibly and pray for that but I got to the point that I'm grateful that God's even speaking to me at all in whichever way He chooses.
I am definitely one struggling with how do I know I’m hearing from God.😢
I hear god through my thoughts usually it's something I can't get out of my head. Especially when it doesnt make sense to me. If its a reply its usually at a random time so I know for sure it is him. He has a calm voice.
Crazy. When you spoke about God speaking to you through other people. This message and video literally spoke to me. I’m working on my relationship with my ex, i made a mistake and working hard and praying to get her back. This message speaks to me because I also work abroad in South Korea and this was definitely a sign from God. Thank you.

God speaks to me through the Holy Spirit, other people, media like RUclips and my own experiences🙏🏽
My favourite instance of hearing from God is through mental pictures, imagery that sometimes appears in my mind during prayer. I usually don't understand them at first, but He walks me through if I ask.
For example, I'm struggling with my self-image and a gnarly, crooked olive tree once came to me.
"Okaaay? Lord, please explain?"
I sensed that His reply was:
"Would you prefer a picture-book tree?" (Leafy, rich, perfectly straight...)
Me: "Of course not! That would be creepily artificial!"
I am quite fond of olive trees. They are often twisted, greyish, rough and generally unappealing, but they have character. Their beauty lies in their age, in their longstanding presence, in weathering out centuries of storms... in their experience.
So does my beauty lie in my history, experiences and choices which shaped my character and left their (sometimes unappealing) traces.
Through others and through experience. Lately, I think he's trying to reach me in my dreams and early morning sessions because all of a sudden, 4:25 am comes around, and I'm awakened 😮
Through the signs in the sky with the clouds , the word, through people and sometimes I will hear his voice. As well as dreams, I get glimpses as well when I’m awake it happens randomly and it’s rare
Oh my word, the second example about God speaking through people that you gave is literally spot on for me. I’m currently teaching in Beijing and my students walked up to me on a very mentally draining day and all embraced me saying “ I love teacher Lydia so so so so very much” . I had a similar experience and broke down because I knew that was God talking through my students ❤️❤️🥹. God is good indeed
He speaks to me in several ways. Sometimes through visions, sometimes through other people, sometimes through numbers, and mostly when I asked Him for clarity on something He will answer by showing me that thing consistently, whether on tv or through youtube or so.. Lately I have been dreaming a lot also. Just dont know how to interpret them yet.

@@macerface I think she means through prophetic numbers like 1010, 1111,222 etc
God speaks to me through the holy spirit, people and dreams.
God has been speaking to me through people. For example, we heard months ago we need to move out of state. We went to my sisters church in her state and the worship song was saying to move. Then a women who goes there asked me when I was moving there (before this my sister and I were talking about me moving) There's so much more!
God spoke to me audibly, then he spoke to me through the word, and preaching, then through my pastor, and dreams to warn me but I didnt listen and I paid a heavy price. I have many regrets but God is a restorer.
I’ve experienced all 6 ! It can be overwhelming but I’m so thankful God ( Jesus & Holy Ghost)loves me ( all of us ) so much that he SPEAKS !!!! I will never take Our Lord Jesus for granted 🙏🏾🤎

God speaks to me through many different forms. Dreams , other people, numbers, and even RUclips videos❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏
He speaks to me through the Holy Spirit.
I find the Lord speaks to me very often on my commute to and from work. When it's just me and Him in that car. I have had the best conversations with God on my commute. Times when I'm driving and crying and don't even know how I made it work safe.I cherish those moments with God.

God definitely speaks to me through dreams/visions, experiences, His word and other people. There are also sometimes when I feel like me taking the time out to sit down and be still in nature opens the door for us to create an atmosphere for communication. Usually when I do that I can feel Him saying “I’m here”. I can’t really explain it, but it means the world to me.
He speaks through the Holy Spirit. Sometimes in my dreams and through others. I wish to see Him in reality maybe coming in to my dreams with a visual. However, I love knowing He is here and will never leave!

I feel like i am being redirected by God but have no idea of what to do. All of that just causes a lot of stress and desperation. I found out your channel a few days ago and I have learned a lot so far. I feel some kind of renewing, but there's still doubt in my heart. I just wanted the Lord to guide me and tell me exactly what should I do and last night I just read this verse Psalms 37:7 "Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him". I was so happy and relieved, that was His way to communicate with me and to cheer me up.

God speaks to me by repeating the same thing to me through various means. God told me that I would be moving to a new state over 5 years ago. He revealed it after I spent some time in prayer with him. Then the church I attended at the time had a message that Sunday that confirmed everything that God told me verbatim. I had to get up and walk away because of how much the word confirmed my prayer time with God. A little over a year later, I was in that new state.
Definitely 1,2,3 and 5. And always #6 however He wants. Bless you

A second part to this video would be great please! God mostly speaks to me through dreams. I feel like he uses this as one of his main ways because that's when my mind is at its quietest and with no interruptions. Plus I have no choice but to hear and see.

It was about 22 years later for Joseph.
The way God used him and was beautiful. Joseph was sold at 17 and in this late 30’s he was the 2nd most powerful man in Egypt.
Edit: God used his brothers, but GOD SENT Joseph. Those key things just makes me excited about God.

I mostly experience: through the Holy Spirit, dreams&visions, experiences. But in this particular season of my life, he uses most of the time the word of God .
We all experience the 6 ways but it’s just that there are at least 2 usually ways he does speak to us .
I have come to realize (mostly to me and people around me)God will speak more often to the sense we are good at physically..like if your observernant God will use things where that will be used

And ofcourse through his word in the bible

God speaks to me through others. I can be stubborn, so sometimes he speaks to several people before I listen.

Normally God talks to me with either RUclips (yes, like this video for example, because he knows I watch RUclips a lot) and it's my main source of communication with him, then also some dreams, visions and through my day to day life! God truly speaks through whatever he wants, whenever he wants and wherever he wants.

God speaks to me alot through my dreams, through people , I like that last point God speaks to us however he wants. There was this situation I was asking God .he answered me through my former pastor who really hurt me and i had forgiven him though but God gave my answer to him to tell me not through the person I was expecting( my present pastor )I was expecting . Again, i sometime ago I asked God for a sign from concerning something. He showed me the sign exactly as I asked him but not the time and how I ask him. I asked the sign be written but it rather done verbally and given in 3days but it was said 3weeks instead. So indeed we can't put God in a box.

This is something I'm currently learning. I'm not entirely sure to determined God's voice but I'll take a wild guess that he speaks to me through music, YT videos, and the Holy Spirit. Now I could be wrong, but this is something I think I'm noticing. I do have a strong vivid imagination and I also have internal monologue so I would like a confirmation from God on these are the ways he speak to me. I'm still new on understanding on how this works.

Without watching your video first, I will answer the question what I would love to hear from God is, "the procedure you need to have will come out fine." I wish God would say I am waiting for you to step out in faith instead of shrinking in fear and letting the situation become worse. God speaks to me through dreams and my intuition and it's so surprising how much details He gives me through this...like sometimes He shows/tells me things the exact way I should expect it and boom it happens that way, maybe not immediately, but whenever it does, I'd be like I've lived this life before😅
