A few things. 1. I like that we get a full reason for why Blue refused to take Brock's TM Disc. 2. Seeing Pidgey evolve mid attack is awesome. 3. The fact that Blue did catch more Pokemon that what we saw shows that he is not that single minded. And 4. The fact that he got his boombox from the Magikarp salesman was funny as hell and so Blue.
Honestly, considering he's selling a common fish, I would've figured the boombox wouldn't work seeing as he's a scammy guy

Dear Pedro,
It broke my heart to read your Pokémon and Sonic updates community post. I wanted to reach out to tell you that I'll support your channel no matter what form it takes. Even if the future is just fan service, because your channel saved my life. When I was in school, I was picked on because I'm an awkward introvert. I was especially given a hard time when people found out I'm an animation fan. I even stopped watching animation in middle school and high school just to get my bullies off my back a little. After graduating highschool, I realized the people who bothered me wouldn't be in my life as much anymore, and that gave me the courage to watch animation again.
And it was like falling in love all over again. I even decided to give anime a try. (In my schools, anime fans were bullied even harder than animation fans), and I fell in love with that, too. I discovered your RUclips channel and instantly related to Red's story. I use the image of Lt. Surge hugging Red as my homescreen photo often. It's a constant reminder that I have the power to fight for myself. To face my past and my trauma and not let my mistakes define me. Rediscovering my love for animation, finding new shows, and catching up on the years I missed, It's allowed me to enjoy life again.
I also really wanted to say that I'm proud of you. Of all the high-quality animations you've put out and the stories and emotions they have. I think you're incredible and talented.
And I appreciate that despite all you're going through, you still have the courage to put yourself out there. Because it takes hard work, effort, and strength to continue to do that because there are so many people who'll take you for granted or want to tear you down.
You and your work are a constant source of inspiration to me.

oof didn't see the community post...at least explains why there is so much (too much) fan service there...i feel sad that youtube just is like that...either you make lots of fanservice or you're a channel for kids...if you make too much fanservice, you get banned...i hate what youtube has become and this is why i stopped my dream of being a lets player for 10 years now

I'm from the wrestling n boxing community (we like eating bullies for lunch lol to put our skills IN USE for the good of society)
Back in my day 10 12 years ago HALF OF US were in anime or chess club, not the place you'd expect amateur fighters to be at like its something we did because we needed to cool down after sparring
Alot of us were n still are Pokémon yugioh n dbz fans
Get to know EVERYONE in the anime community and YOU WILL find one of us fighters n protectors FOR CERTAIN (we love to see your cool theories and stuff)
Remember a book isn't judged by its cover and its a journey n some of the toughest men I met WERE walking amongst you in the "geek" community
We could use the company since we are the lone wolves and alot of us fighters are social outcasts like you that people ignore n pretend we don't really exist
And I'm glad to read that somehow i helped. And yeah, let's keep fighting. In response of how low the channel is performing, now i'm pumping 2 videos per week. When life hits hard, let's just hit harder.

Blue's quest to improve his tunes is something I'm really digging.
Honestly I think it's just volume. Any remix of it he does is always quieter than the boombox and anything louder is the original theme

This is becoming my new favorite story. I liked how you showed Blue didn’t want to buy a magikarp because he wanted to be known for catching them, but then immediately buys a boombox just to show off his theme music

I love seeing things from Blue's perspective! The cockiness and confidence he exhibits is pretty great and his "you can't teach me anything" attitude with Brock is a great showcase of the smaller glimpses we saw in Red. I wonder if you'll show him catching and evolving a bunch of pokemon to get to the 40 he needs when Red finds him in the SS Anne? That being said, I'd understand if you don't spend as much time on it because, as you've mentioned, you're having trouble with the youtube algorithm. I'd watch it and eat it up, but I totally get that you gotta do what you gotta do.

Blue catching Spearow is a reference to Yellow where he does have one & later evolve it into Fearow.
FunFact: I always have this imagination that he trades that Fearow for Skarmory because it's a Steel/Flying type having more resistances than Fearow. Also Steel was a new type when the Johto games were out.
The Spearow line is lowky better than the Pigey line stat wise.
By the moves sets right I am aware of it.

I kind of hope Brock gets a chance to kick Blue's butt sometime. Until Exeggcute, Blue's team wouldn't have a good answer for Omastar/Kabutops, and in Gen 1 Exeggutor never actually learns a grass move.
uk the irony is it does learn mega drain via tm, but he's probably gonna snub erika of her tm too and get rekt for it later when brock battles him w/ the fossils. I am absolutely here for that karma.
I clicked due to Misty being on the thumbnail and I was not disappointed. The comment blue made to Brock made me laugh and the fish sells men sold blue the boom box made me laugh.

Love the zubat scene is a funny way that you encounter those things a lot in seconds in the cave
So that explains why zubats are attacking us angrily. Blue paved the way by waking them up with his boombox!

Pidgey evolving was a cool idea. I had to put the video speed at 0.25 and pause a lot to see the exact moment. Pidgey evolved precisely in the exact middle of the attack if measuring in dashes.
The last part with the Magikarp seller is hilarious too.

Every story you tell is a fun experience! I get excited every time a new episode is released
People are forgetting that Blue is only 1 step behind Red in terms of skill as a Pokémon Trainer. Sure, he has a lot to learn spiritually to become the best, but in terms of raw skill he is #2 of all time.
Both Red and Blue (because of Oak) dedicate themselves to catching and understanding all Pokémon. That’s what makes them the best Trainers.
Even if Gold is a better battler, or if May/Dawn can grapple better with calamities. They will never have the connection with Pokémon that Red and Blue had.

Owh I think Red was always established as the best battler of all MC. See Pokemon Masters. And even in manga, Red was titled as "the Battler" and Gold as "the Hatcher"
@@KL_Red5074 i think thats one interpretation (that of the manga author’s) but going by the games’ lore, Gold objectively beats Red in the story.
@@FriedChckn13 but in Masters Gold got one shot by Red. We never knew officially who won Mt Silver battle. It even could be a draw, story wise. In manga, Gold didn't defeat Red either. In Masters, Red one shot Gold in battle and was canonically stated as "the strongest trainer in history".
And Red (unlike Gold) was officially titled as Legendary Trainer, the Living Legend, Battle Legend, Battle Genius and Battle Master by The Pokemon Company.
Pretty sure it seals the deal that Red is the strongest trainer. While Gold doesnt have even 1 official title or something.
And in main anime, Ash (Red anime counterpart) easily defeats Jimmy (Gold anime counterpart) in the battle in Zoroark movie opening. That said something too.

Man right from the word go, Blue truly was incredibly arrogant. Believing that he had nothing to learn even from this early stage sets the stage for his downfall much later on. Love the detail of Squirtle withdrawing into its shell to sleep, and Pidgey's evoltion into Pidgeotto mid attack, truly divine. And that damned boombox! Makes so much sense as to how he got it.
God, I love this series already! It really adds to a series that's already amazing, and it has this snarky, but well-earned confidence that really suits Blue. Great episode!

Very nice to see the beginning of Blue's downfall. He may be winning with ease, but he refuses to learn from his opponents when they still have something to offer.

This is Kanto. I think a lot of us have a certain nostalgia for Kanto. The music, the sound effects. Even the characters. Most of them had no in game development. But we talked amongst ourselves as kids and developed theories. The anime added a little but sometimes missed the mark. Keep developing the Kanto region, Pedro. Give us a little more backstory and keep filling in those blanks. That's where your audience is.

@PedroAraujoStudio I still think you should do a quick mini series of kanto characters and enhance their backstories. A Brock episode, misty, surge. All the gym leaders and even daisy oak. She certainly went on her own pokemon adventure and holds gym badges (she can use both surf and fly)
I think kanto is where your fan base is and we love it, and your work and story telling.
