She is very supportive to us i mean almost everyone in b/w is supportive to us even the rival is different than any other that just wants to be champion or the strongest, cheren wants to become the champion at first he learned the harsh truth and almost give up only to realise that becoming champion was his ideals all along and it was something that he needs to strive forward, bianca on the other hands got stopped by her concept of ideal trainer yet she accept the harsh truth that she can't become one realising that its not the end for her after all that she then strive to become a pokemon professor under juniper tutilage, hugh too was a good guy that walks in between the path of ideals and truth he is someone that can't reach both ideals and truth he is empty yet he finally overcome that emptiness by going in adventure with us even if it means giving up his dream of becoming champion and letting us become the champion overcoming the truth and helping team plasma at the end to recover the pokemon used by neo team plasma, this philosophical theme of b/w was pretyy good tbh
@@aratabhist well said friend.
I remember my first time facing iris and having absolute no idea she was the champ cause I played games blind with no research so I remember almost shitting myself when the lights cut on and it was fucking Iris then the bad ass theme kicks in what a game
It was at this moment when the series peaked. It all went downhill from there
i LOVE this battle theme 😍
I will forever remember playing this when I was younger loved this game out of most I played. This really changed up the Pokémon game series >>
This was the last good game (Alola was kinda good too)
Where I am finding this comment it's right next to a video showing the best of black and white.
The theme and the background match perfectly
That VS screen is AMAZING
Iris: Brings lvl 57 Hydreigon
Zweilous: One level away and I will be like that dude
The game: Imma end this man's dream
Gen 5 is revolutionary not only in the design and perspectives but also in storywriting.
The only drawback is the 'pixelated' style that sometimes looks awful.
As a Gen fiver I agree I wished they kept the Gen 4 style :(
who else is here after pokemon journeys said shes the champion
This battle was so tough. It was really close with her haxorus at yellow health and my last Pokémon at low health. She had set up a bunch of dragon dances so no way I was going to outspeed that thing. It was a very tough battle with me using a strategy that was very risky
1st turn be like: Legal vs Illegal
I really hate the low hp music, it completely ruins awesome battle themes like this
I know. As much as I love the gen 5 ( and big coincidence, my first pokémon main game was white), this was the thing I hated the most as a kid. WHO AT GAMEFREAK GOT THAT IDEA?!
To me, that's one of the best creative ideas they've ever had IMO
They could've just made a special low health themes for important battles.
@@DONIMATOR-pn5rp The champion battle is an important battle.
That low health theme is fire tho
*low heath theme intensifies*
"elite 5" When you realize your whole life was a lie
Haha i see there is a kokichi here xD
objectively the best champion bc she can disintegrate your team while dressed like its her birthday party. also the music slaps
Makes me sad that even though this song is so good I am always brought to tears
I miss this game so much
I still got mine.
It's not that old. Use an emulator to play It
Was iris tanned or black?
black lol
I think she's actually native american, considering Unova is based on Manhattan.
Idk, whatever Leon is because they’re cousins
@@pinnacull whoa they're cousins.
S F so called black people are the American Indians. MLK civil rights act was for the rights of American Indians... so y’all both right
Whenever you select something, that DING sound is similar to one of those arcade ticket games.
0:55 the introduction part is sooo dope
You know you're in for a rough match when the trainer leads with a HYDREIGON of all of the 649 Pokemon in the entire National Pokedex at this point in time.
Samurott without icebeam is like something i cant imagine.
True😂
mine had Ice Beam and Megahorn to ensure that Hydreigon gets OHKOed
because if its not OHKOed, it usually faints like 2 pokemon before i can faint it
Who only realized Iris’s sprite had her tongue sticking out only now?
Wait really lmao
Probably her collar
No sje doesnt
I love that most of Iris' Pokémon aren't labelled as Dragon Types but look like they'd be. Looking at Archeops, Lapras & Aggron. Good thing is they can have Dragon Type moves 🐉🦖
haxorus has dragon dance??? that thing is going to sweep my team, isn't it.
Fun fact. Pokemon Black 2 scared me as a kid. Mainly cuz of the mansion
Iris really learned a lot from Lance. Zweilous evolves at Lv.64
Ended my battle with just my Samurott, in the red, paralyzed, best feeling ever.
One of the best champion themes tbh
When her Hydreigon tanked my Braviary's superpower and destroyed it with a crit Dragon Pulse, that's when i understood i shouldn't underestimate her
Other Champion themes: *high tension, very dramatic*
Iris' theme: *_we be groovin_*
This fight, was SOOOOO, HARD...
After my 20th try (I'm not even joking) I started to cry, her team is so broken and that hydreigon shouldn't even exist, but after a long time I finally beat her, and I was so relieved that I think I fainted for a second
