    Far more detailed than other tutorial series (which have themselves been excellent) - so that makes these superb. I like the additional explanation which adds to my knowledge. Thanks for the work involved - it's really appreciated.

    I always wondered if there is some funny story why the up down keys seem logically backwards 😂. Did they flip a coin did they do it one way then realised it’s too late to change. I’m sure there’s a good reason but no idea how you would know. On a more serious point I didn’t know about the exclude Nav Aid. Not much use in Sim but nice RL aviation knowledge. Very comprehensive information as always in your videos

      I suppose French red wine is not an argument?

    • @A330Driver
      @A330Driver  8 месяцев назад +3

      The exclude nav aid option might come in handy in the sim when Asobo messed up placing of navaids again or a scenery developer placed a duplicate somewhere.

      Just a guess. Thinking about the movements of your finger when scrolling up and down on a touch screen (pad). So move the page up and down.😂😂

    • @EugeneZaytsev

      French red wine is always an argument but I do think that @ruozhang8374 is correct. You move the data on the display up and down, not indicating that you _want_ to go down.

    I went on the airbus 320 jumpseat for 2 sectors last week and its was completed 99% exactly the same way (including your briefings tutorial)
    They put the EO landing runway on the progress page as well, don't know why for more than memory help maybe, forgot to ask 😄

    Hey there Em, I LOVE your videos! Can I just check how your Ofp has the ICAO and IATA flight numbers. (DLH7VV and LH2466 respectively). Is this unique to Europe? What do you enter to get this in Simbrief?
    Also can I ask what OFP Layout you use? I like how yours looks.

    Thanks for your detailed description of A320 operation. I have the Honeycomb Bravo throttle quadrant and I use the generic airline throttle levers. Do you think is it worth to buy a specific levers with detents for each A320 lever position, like Prodesksim for example? Thanks

    • @EugeneZaytsev
      @EugeneZaytsev 18 дней назад

      Honeycomb actually sells Airbus levers.

    Enjoying this series of videos (as I do all your videos), always something to learn no matter how small the detail is. It's that attention to all details that I love, important in the aviation field. I've one question, in my Fenix i get "invalid entry" when entering trip wind (Init B)... I literally type H47 in my case, but it doesn't like it. Curiously the field has 5 white dashes before entering, whereas your shows "HD000" in blue (?). I did do a 'wind request' (on Init A) earlier on, maybe that's why..?

    • @A330Driver
      @A330Driver  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, you don't need to insert a wind uplink before typing the average in. The average is indeed there in order to make the uplink not needed on the ground. Have you filled all the fields on your INIT A page?

    • @deanbavister
      @deanbavister 8 месяцев назад

      @@A330Driver Yea I had done. I've just landed and tried again, I re-done the Init A 'Init request', NOT done the wind request this time, now it lets me insert a value for 'Trip Wind' on the Init B page. Which kinda makes sense, but I wonder whether the 'invalid entry' message given previously is correct or realistic. Great work again Captain Em, love the content.

    Hi Emi. If I were given clearance to takeoff from a point other then the end of the runway, how do I figure out true takeoff stats using the Departure Perf tool? For instance a departure from taxiway N5 at KORD 28R which is very common. I almost ate up my entire runway with the numbers I used from the tool.

    How do i find the baro for the performance?

    • @EugeneZaytsev
      @EugeneZaytsev 18 дней назад

      On the APP charts, look for the DA(H) number. Basically, DA is for BARO, DH is for RADIO. You use RADIO for ILS CAT II&III, BARO for ILS CAT I and other approaches with vertical guidance.

    • @EugeneZaytsev
      @EugeneZaytsev 18 дней назад

      You take all the runways in numeroalphabetical order, like, 08L, 08R, 26L, 26R and assign numbers starting with 1. So 08L becomes 1, 08R becomes 2 and so on.

    Are there any airline or rules regarding the pilot flying change the FMS ie when you get a direct or a they busy flying (1st priority) or does other pilot fiddles 😂 with the FMS?

    • @A330Driver
      @A330Driver  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, there are. In manual flight it will always be the PM doing the changes.
      In automatic flight the PF should delegate them to the PM below 10.000ft.
