    Fantastic ! I spent 10 Happy Years in Load Control for BA ! It was an amazing job and very interesting ! Manual loadsheet training was hard going 😮 but very rewarding when the figures all worked out 👍🙏🏻👊✈️👨‍✈️

      I can only imagine! When I started flying manual load sheets were still standard at my former airline. Was incredible how many mistakes we found if we really checked them carefully.

      @@A330Driverfor the life of me I can't find the video of how you can override thrust control on the 737. I remember you had a video showing how we can override it. Can you link it please sir

      @@A330Driver We did use a computerised system ! With a paper Preliminary Loadsheet and final figures being sent by Acars after push back ! Of Course we started training off with Manual loadsheet and that was the fallback for computer outages! We also were back in the classroom every 6 months to maintain our licences and keep recent on the many Aircraft that we were working on ! I was licenced on all types 737 747 757 767 777 787 A318 A329 A320 A321 A380 ERJ190 195 and we worked on flights worldwide ! It was really very interesting ! My Favourite was the 747 🙏🏻✈️👨‍✈️ Enjoy your Channel 👊❤️

    Thank you for the work you are putting out! I believe it is not easy to combine real flying work with teaching us using youtube. Thank you

    Thank you very much for the time and efforts you spend explaning all figures in detail and relating them to practical use in flight preparation. Additional Remark: The „L“ based load limitation max. weight (MZFW, MTOW or MLAW) is determined by the lowest of the three following weights: 1) MZFW+TOF 2) MTOW 3) MLAW+TIF. (Correct me, if I‘m wrong, then I will buy a coffee to A330 Driver)

      By the way, one question arose: Why does in the preliminary loadsheet the TOW not equal exactly the ZFW + TOF (59134 + 7945 compared with 67161) ? Is it because of the preliminary status or the fuel ?

    • @klappspaten3211

      @@ollifaff8698 You need to add the taxi fuel that you burn between the gate and the departure runway. Simbrief normaly calculate 20 min of Fuel for this.

    • @ollifaff8698
      @ollifaff8698 4 месяца назад

      Thank you, but I thought, thats the BLOCK fuel then (incl. the TAXI fuel) by definition and not the TOF. (And in the TOW there is no TAXI fuel included as it’s the weight you have on the runway). That would mean comparing apples with pears ?
      But anyway, I think it‘s a great feature of FENIX to have ACARS-Loadsheets included in the Sim.

      @@ollifaff8698 Oh I see it. My fault. Maybe the reason is some „natural“ differences. For example you will never get the exact amount of fuel that you ordered (in RL). Beside that you insert your values only with one position after the commissioner and you are rounding the values. So you don’t need to worry about it, when there’s some differences.

      Yes, that could be a reason. Thank you for your thoughts and nice exchange. Generally I am so fascinated about how realistic PC flight simulation has become today compared with 20 years ago, when PMDG and LevelD Sim had already good Add-ons. Happy Landings ! BRGDS Oliver

    Good vdeo. Can i just ask, does the loadsheets calculate all the weather/winds? What happens if you decide to take extra fuel?

    When entering load data, such as the zero fuel weight, I initially used my operational flight plan. Plan. But as I understand it, I should be using my load sheet as a more recent set of data. Is that correct?
