Hi Joris, Love the video. Totally agree with you regarding pushing yourself to take those steps out of the door even when you would rather stay indoors/in bed, or do not believe there is anything out there to take pictures of. I believe too many are only looking for 'full frame' images/landscapes, and totally ignore the multitude of small items/compositions that surround them, and that will often result in fantastic shots. Keep up the great work. Many thanks.
Thank you for watching Ian😊 you are totally right. It is not easy to do, but when you are out and the light is perfect you go home with a smile 😁 I need to practice more on the smaller parts, that most of us over look.
Great Joris, I'm always happy to see a new video from you. And yes, you're right when you say you simply have to get out into nature more. Thank you very much and keep up the good work!
These are all excellent compositions. Fantastic work. I suffer from "my area is boring"...I think its definitely time to get out and explore a little as this was very inspiring! Thanks for this!
That’s why I made the video 😂 because you told me your location is boring, but when I looked it up on google maps I found a few places where I would love to take photo 😁 but if you stay in side and play guitar and film that that’s also good 😂
You got some superb long exposure / water shots there Joris. I recently picked up a Nikon 80-400 from MPB. Love it. Has barely been off my D7200 since.
@@JorisVanDeuneghemAnother fan of MPB here. I had never heard of them until I was watching a James Popsys video and MPB was a sponsor. He mentioned that a portion of his gear was purchased used from MPB. If it’s good enough for him, it’s good enough for me! I got my Nikon D5600 body, a Tamron 11-16mm, Nikkor 18-140mm and Nikkor 55-300mm, all “Like New” condition for around $1100 USD. Obviously not professional level equipment, but you would be surprised at the quality images I have gotten. I am just a hobbiest photographer from Cincinnati, Ohio USA. I need to follow your advice and stop thinking that you have to travel somewhere exotic to take good photos! Great video! Cheers!
@dirkgibbens377 I’ve also seen the sponsorships on the channel from Thomas Heaton and Henry turner. I’ve looked once on the site from mpb, but I didn’t needed anything. Now is a different story ofcourse 😁 I know it isn’t easy to see beautiful compositions in a place that you see every day, but once you can do it everything looks nicer 😁
Another great video dude. im inspired to go out now 😎and sing while i take photos for inspiration. 😂 RIP tele-lens, it’s served you well. Time to sell another kidney for a new better one.
Thank you for watching. At the moment I’m using a Jusino tripod. It’s a Chinese brand and I’m surprised about the quality. They sponsored a video recently. Behind the scenes I’m using a 3 legged thing from the UK also amazing. My first tripod I bought came from them and afterwards they send me a few to try because I like them a lot
@@JorisVanDeuneghem I'm looking for something small that I can use for traveling. Also what I hate are tripods which don't have clamps. Something light weight, easy to use and very compact. That's important :) of course a good stability as well

Great shots Joris, that tripod is so versatile!
I like the longer exposures too
Thanks Ross 😊 yes the tripod isn’t bad. A time ago I was more for the 2,5sec exposures, but last week I was in to the long ones 😁
Splendid images!
Thank you en thank you for watching 😊

Let’s do a singing photography battle video 😂 yes I’m not sure what kidney I’m gonna sell
Great video Joris! Could you tell me, which tripod are you using?

@@JorisVanDeuneghem Thanks! Sounds great. I am looking for a new tripod, that's why I was asking :)
@vonmoeck.photowalk ok that’s a fun search 😁 what are the specs you want from it? Height, lowest, weight, ….

@vonmoeck.photowalk I don’t know your budget of course bud I think the 3 legged thing Albert 2.0 Carbon would be a nice one for travel.
