First thing I did with my new Model 3 LR with white interior: I applied Gyeon Leather sealant, exactly as shown in the video. Now, almost 3 months and 7000km's later, they still look as new with absolutely no stains on them at all (I always wear blue jeans and I never cleaned the seats in the meantime). Really recommended!

I've not done that, because of the factory sealing. Driven over 40k with my Model 3 and just use the proper cleaners. We need to remember to clean, even when it looks clean. My Model Y is the same story, Gyeon leather cleaner (mild) or Dodo Juice Super Natural cleaner.

Please do the half ceramic coated seat test. I haven’t seen anyone do that yet.

Fantastic video. Please do more of those kind videos! I think Tesla workshop/garage videos would also be very interesting. (Fixing and tuning stuff)

Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to show us. I have white seats and they are super dirty. Looking forward to giving this a try and having clean seats. I do electrical work so all the dirt and grime from roofs and insulation is on my seat. I’ve tried to keep it clean but it seems to get worse over time and now there’s a base level of dirt. If anyone reads and is curious you can ask me incase I forget to update you on how it went

Update- I’ve used Bowdens own I was unable to buy these products I will be using the ones suggested later on the product I’ve used has been given the green light from Tesla & it cleaned the car extremely close to as new very impressed the bolster on the side will need further attention but overall very impressed

Cool tips. But i looks a bit to expencive and time-consuming for my taste. I use Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber Care on my white Tesla seats. Cleans and protects in one go. Repeats prosess 3-4 times a year.

Carefully use it on Tesla seats. There were stains all over the seats. I used the leather shield as shown in the video. Only a professional detailer could remove it. So if you try that product, let it do by a professional because it is a good one but not for newbies.

Alright, I did use the Gyeon leather seat on my first car, I forgot on my second 😱 What are the other 'good' companys besides Gyeon he mentions, it is a bit hard to understand him.

Is that what an Uzbek accent sounds like? Whatever it is, it sounds lovely!
(I'm guessing Umid is the equivalent of the Turkish Ümit, both being derived from Persian. Google tells me the Umid variant is mostly Uzbek.)

Ceramic coating doesnt stop it from getting dirty, just makes it easier to clean and less likely to get permanent stains.

All you need is baby wipes. Maybe a ceramic coat once new but baby wipes do the trick on their own. No need for fancy products.

When I googled it, most places don't recommend you to use baby wipes on car seats:

@@bjornnyland Most modern day baby wipes are ph neutral, alcohol and soap free. An example is "Little Ones" which i use on my car seats for 2 years. No issues.

What a don’t understand is why Tesla seats treated as leather (vegan leather) where in facts it’s plastic, not animal skin. So any wipe surely does not any difference. I think fancy chemicals for plastic seats is a bit of a con.

    • @Outrage82

  • @macallanvintage

It doesnt matter what type of leather it is….vegan or vegetarian😂😂.
You are cleaning only the thin transparent layer of polyurethane coating….and applying your protective products onto that layer of polyurethane based coating.
The leather is SEALED below that coating, so you can never touch the leather.
