I've seen a figure of 43 examples for the number of Matador Machines produced. It would be a fun car to clone; definitely different and little-known to most. Even some muscle car fanatics are unaware of them. Any solid '71 to '73 Matador coupe would suffice for the project. Heck, one could even do a Machine sedan or wagon, as I think the Go Machine package could theoretically be ordered out on any 1971 Matador.
AMC only had one v8 engine, all various models are just different stroke, bore, or in later years, deck height. The 401 is a tall deck 390, for example. There is no big block for AMC. This was a good engine, and there are a lot of aftermarket fixes for any oiling issues that you may be worried about. Oh Javelin, what a ride.
I would love too own a hornet or a gremlin,has too have a 390 ci,engine.love ❤,amc muscle.miss my 70,amx.thanx for this video❤😊.

Wow ai is getting good. Didn't hear many mistakes here, only the hood pings lol. Pretty good job!

Javelin é claramente um AMX com a frente alongada adaptada!
Too bad the Machine had those goofy incorrect stripes on it.
