I've owned many AMC's over the years, from a factory V/8 Pacer, AMX's and Javelin, best of all two S/C Ramblers. Every one of the AMC/Rambler cars are fun to drive, less expensive than most others, and best of all, and unlike a camaro" when going to cruise nights you're likely to be the only one there.
My first car was a 1969 Rambler American. I've also owned a '68 AMX with a 390 engine, a '69 Javelin, and a '71 Matador. I loved the power and handling of the AMX, it's my favorite of all the vehicles I've had over the years-but I must say my 2010 MX-5 is a blast to drive.

David L it certainly made things difficult. It had an AMC automatic transmission. Ultimately it died when the starter went out and I could not find one that actually meshed with the fly wheel.
I was in high school in the Toledo area in the early 1970's. One of my friend's dad was an engineer at Jeep when they got bought by AMC. They decided to see what they could do with all the new parts they now had access to, and promptly dropped a 460 into a CJ-5. My buddy got to drive it once and spent his time smoking all four corners at stoplights.
I have an '86 AMC Eagle Wagon as my daily driver. I love it. Everyone is always asking questions about it when I stop somewhere. The 2 main questions I get are, "Is it really 4 wheel drive and did I put a lift kit on it?" Yes, it is 4 wheel drive, it does work, and no, I did not lift it. It's stock height, for now.

Lexus LFA!
Or, at least, a bumper2bumper on the LFA.
It's Wayne's World, Wayne's World. Party time, excellent... WOO WOO WOO WOO!!!

Aye that Wisconsin/brat shout out was awesome! We've been out drinking your state since 1848 - Wisconsin's unofficial state motto lol
only in wisconsin during the covid 19 lockdown liquor stores are essential
Well you can get liquor beer and wine at most drug stores. But the taverns were closed.
AMC had some great cars. I love the Javelins, AmX and the matadors.
Ahh the Cobra badge is and will always be pretty badass
Yes! Finally!!
Uncle owned an Eagle 4WD w/ wood paneling. It totally caught my attention as a young buck. Grandma had a Pacer, and I rode in the center of the front bench 🥰. Family also owned a CJ7 and J10 or J20 in the 80s+90s
Up to speed-Trans Am🔥🔥
My favorite badge design: Hellcat (red eye), Hellephant, and Demon
No viper ?
I bought a 1971 AMC SST Javelin, 401. Loved the trans Am look and the big engine torque. Beautiful car.

The shelby logo is very iconic, and that cobra looks mean!
There is even a version with Carol Shelby’s signature in it.
