I'm not much on racing games. Though if I were having game buying withdrawals, I might start looking for a "cheap" copy of the old Avalon Hill game,... Damn old man can't remember the name of the game, Coliseum? you know, the one you race the chariots, ala Ben Hur. (Need to replace that when we somebody we had over visiting five fingered it). As always great work yeah and I know I'm things comments before you're finished but I appreciate the good job you do
I think I'd probably go ahead and buy this one. For me it's the superior game. However, if someone is really into sports racing, I think they would prefer Thunder Alley.
Have you played Thunder Road: Vendetta yet? How does it compare to this? I think these games are going to be similar enought to not both fit in a collection.
Eh? I still have Apocalypse Road. However, you must understand, that I receive tons of games each year to review. Also, in the last few years, I've moved several times. Sometimes I have to make painful purges and get rid of games I really like.
@@TheDiscriminatingGamer if by "Eh?" you mean: "Don't jump into conclusions based on my BGG collection because I don't keep it up to date" than ok. Nevertheless, I suggest that you'll make this effort. It helps to visually organize and maintain it.
Thunder Ally is underrated for sure! This game looks very fun. It’s Thunder Ally in the apocalypse..... with a splash of Mad Max! Thanks Cody.
Thank you!
Love your work Cody!
Thank you. Glad you enjoy it.
So I think I'm totally buying this thanks to you bud
Good of GMT to release a game of Immortan Joe driving to Capitol Hill.
Ha!
Apocalypse joke? Armageddon it!
Anyhow, interesting I am seeing this this review after picking up Thunder Road: Vendetta.
Excellent!

Thank you, sir.
So has this replaced Thunder Alley for you? Would you recommend jumping into this one or Thunder Alley, if I'm new to this system?

I actually just got a copy of TRV for my birthday. I haven't played it yet. I'll let you know.
@@TheDiscriminatingGamer Great!
Could I use Micro Machines cars to replace the cardboard tokens?
Maybe. I hadn't thought of that.
I wonder if I could use my tracks from Thunder alley?
I think you prolly could.
There are rules for merging in Thunder Alley tracks as well as Grand Prix
@@sherigon1 Fantastic!
Yet none of them was good enough to keep in your collection...?

@@shineLouisShine Yeah. Good point. I don't keep it up to date. One day I'll have to go through and clean it up. Thanks.
Looks dreadful, sorry.
Judge a book by a cover much? Fantastic game!
What looks dreadful about it? If you don't like racing games period...why even click the video? Otherwise, not sure what's not to like...
