I watched my first 4dx film today, TWISTERS, and I think it’s a memory I’ll carry with me throughout my life. Amazing. Enthralling. Community engaging through the other patrons in the theatre. Best movie experience of my life and felt like going to the movies for the first time. This is the future of cinema.
I watched Spider-Man twice in 4DX and my god was that such an amazing experience. The dust thrown in the air, the lighting scattered around the room, the bumps you feel in the chair. I would recommend to anyone who doesn’t get motion sick.
I wish I could have seen Gravity in 4DX!! After I saw that movie, I always thought it would be a great idea to use physical effects to connect with what's happening in the film to enhance the experience. I hope my theater offers it soon!
@@kunalpandey7189 lol. I was thinking more of the literal twists and turns that happen like when she is in the space shuttle and seat effects that sync up with all the debris that hits the shuttle. In space your always floating and moving so even moments where the chairs sort of shift back and forth to create that feeling would make it a great experience.
I’ve seen 2 movies in 4D X. Top Gun Maverick and the new Jurassic World. Both were pretty intense with regards to the motion seats. A great experience overall though and I’d recommend it for anyone
saw shangchi twice in 4dx, spideman in 4dx and i will be seeing jurassic world tonight! It is such an amazing experience, ever since i watched something 4DX, movies in 2d and 3d just dont give me the same thrill anymore, its a great thing to do, the money is worth it

saw the new twisters movie with these 2 months ago. It felt like an earthquake was coming through, and i loved it. not so much having to hold on to my popcorn for dear life, though.
I have seen two movies in 4dx at cineworld in Belfast. In both films there have been no scents and also for topgun maverick I found the sound very poor. The image is not 4k unlike IMAX and the sound is not dolby atmos so i wouldn't see another 4dx film or recommend it to anyone over IMAX apart from to try it once for the novelty on the moving chair. Although I can't see any movie benefiting from it as much as Topgun did.
Watched my first 4dx film last night, Godzilla Minus One, best cinema experience I've had in 20 year's 😮 fantastic film to watch in 4dx. I can't get over how good the whole experience was.

Went to see my first 4DX film the other day. Opted for Twisters because it seemed like an obvious choice. I don't understand the appeal. There was no smoke effects, no scent effects. The rumbling, pitching, and other effects felt random, distracting me from the film because I was wondering what the chair would do. Also, there was a vent somewhere that wasn't working, so there was a hissing of air throughout most of the movie. Why pay more for a lesser experience? I guess it isn't for everyone. People around me seemed to enjoy it, and that isn't lost on me. I'm glad I'd already watched the film in standard format.
@@ProGamingEagle it wasn't as intense as I imagined 4dx being. I LOVED the movie but it wasn't as different than seeing it normally. Maybe it's better at other 4dx locations
I saw Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of madness so let me tell you the water took off my make up, Reston peas to my popcorn. It felt like someone was shooting spit balls in the back of my head but I guess that was just air. And there was some old people that looked like they needed a seatbelt. Theater I went to was made five months ago so everything was on point the lightning, fog, snow, bubbles, scents, And for all my friends that like to fall asleep during really good movies I now have a way to wake their asses up to bring them to this theater where it’s impossible to sleep. That water doesn’t drench you it lightly sprays and it feels great. But for ppl that don’t want it there’s an option to turn it off. The seats are hard for a reason so I can feel the punches and stabs lol. The air that hits you in the back of the head kinda felt like spit balls. If ur a girl wear ur hair up. And take off ur socks and shoes so you can feel the air that comes out the tube on the bottom. 4dx only come with action movies not dramas and comedies. I do think they should have seatbelts as an option. I loved it I highly recommend seeing Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of madness in 4DX and I hate 3D but the 4DX screen was crystal clear so it was better and went with the “ride” of the movie. I always watch my marvel films in imax first to get clear screens and amazing sound and than I treat myself to 4DX a week or so later with friends.
Can someone explain what the point of the tube ankle slappers are. Like it's so comical in the video when he talks about all the senses it recreates like snow and earthquakes and rain and then he just says oh and then also you get your ankles tickled.
I just watched Top Gun: Maverick in 4DX for the first time and It was f*cking amazing. There was old lady and old man and they loved it. They were laughing the whole movie beacuse of the chairs and the water....

@@Matt-qg2nk Of course the chairs won't move the whole movie. The chairs will only move more in the jet scenes, when Tom Cruise rides his motorcycle and in the beach scene when they play american football. I think your wife will enjoy the experience

I absolutely despise 4D. Getting wet so you feel sick is bad enough - but the incredible shaking is literally painful. I left with a headache and sore body - after standing for half the film so I didn't have to deal with the shaking.
There are some inaccuracies in this. Like “The Tingler” didn’t actually have electricity in the seats. Some of the seats would vibrate, and the filmmaker paid certain people to sit in the audience and pretend to be shocked.
Went to the belfast one yesterday and the 3d wasn't working so didn't get the full experience which is disappointing. I still enjoyed it but can't give my full review until I watch it in 3d.
I saw they had people eating popcorn and drinking but how is that possible in an action movie and what happens if you need the toilet?All the Row moving and shaking 😮
Just watched Avatar the way of the water on this. However I decided to get front one seats but didn't realise that they didn't move at all. Which was a bummer. And no they wasn't the disabled marked seats either.

4dx is standard 2d film with all the extras of the 4dx experience and 4dx 3D is the extras with a 3D visual(glasses)

I watched The Batman in 4dx and nothing else could've topped that experience. I've seen multiple other 4dx movies after that and it wasn't as good
Well my Moses 4Dx is an amazing experience because I was fortunate to see Spider-Man nowhere home and recently Top Gun Maverick it just gets better.
