This will be my new profession, from being a Patrol Officer.. We mainly work off leads, y main goal is to try & learn our products. I think my main challenge will be trying to market my service, with all the Commercial & ads already readily available. To pass a life and health insurance exam, you will need to have broad knowledge of insurance concepts, policy types, taxes and federal regulations, not to mention the insurance laws in your state.
I just passed with flying colors on my health insurance exam with the help of Mr Willard who has been doing for a lot of people.
I passed mine after much studying, I studied some Exam Cram and other insurance PDF.
I made a pass after studying hard with sleepless night, though I’m not discouraging anyone just saying.
He gave me some questions and answers,! Which was exactly same thing I saw on the day of my exam.
Mine after I made my registration with him, I the applied for premium which is direct license since it’s easier and quicker no need to study and memorize anything but it also more expensive than the question and answer.
I think we are all here because the test is tomorrow...

Got my course 2 and a half weeks ago. Studied my ass off on top of TWO jobs. (Work 11 hour days) and I took my test yesterday and PASSED. Work hard y’all stay focused. IT CAN BE DONE
Can you tell me if I need to study the law and regulations of the state that I have to take the exam?
My exam is tomorrow, I’ve taken it two other times. The last time I was I got a 69 instead of a 70 - which was infuriating. Lol

Months ago, I remember watching this very video when i considered becoming a life insurance agent.. I wasn't exactly solid on my career path after I'd gotten laid-off..
But yesterday, I passed the pre-licensing exam and now I'm finally watching life insurance videos again 😂

This is good relevant information. After I finished my 52 hour course (on-line) . I signed up for my test the next day 2 months out. I wanted to give myself time to actually learn the basics of insurance as well as the best chance of passing the test the first time. I read the course book chapters then write out the chapters Unit Cram Sheets highlighting info I’ve seen multiple times as well as on the chapter test. I also take the exams that came with my course 2x a day 50 questions each and every question I answer wrong I write it out with the correct answer and go over and over it until I’m confident that I have learned it. With each test I have new questions to add because with my particular course through Kaplan the questions change. I just keep repeating the process every single 7 days. It has been working for me. My memory works exactly like yours..... I have to read and then write down the information.
Going into this field with nothing, took the pre-licensing course and got my pre-licensing cert yesterday, started with nothing Feb. 25th. Exam is Today. My brain is killing me, fingers crossed I pass it 🤣. That being said, I did not expect Life, Health, Annuities, medicare and medicaid to be so complicated. .
edit: Passed the exam! Knew literally nothing, crammed daily since I started the pre-licensing course (8 days total), passed first try.

Would you suggest making flash cards? Or is that too time consuming?
@@DabbyCakes1 I personally watched videos as it helps me understand stuff when someone is explaining it. If you learn well with flash cards I suggest them, if not, I would use them to test yourself and maybe watch videos on the topics your test is going to be in and then re-read key terms

@@DabbyCakes1 honestly they were all pretty good (ones with top results anyway, just make sure they aren't too bland or just reading off a book but actually explaining the info.

Im studying on xcel course for the health insurance exam and im take the stimulators exam over and over but the test repeats the same questions most the time.. alot of the definitions in the glossary dosent show up on the stims so now im nervouse any tips?

My test is Monday (writing this on Saturday) and I am struggling to grasp onto certain things and keep everything straight as to what goes with what mainly. I know I know the info, but recalling is an issue for me with some things. Thank you for the advice and tips though! Definitely going to utilize them!

Most don’t pass the first time. You will get it next time. I had to take twice to. Just tricky wording.

I’ve been studying for my health insurance exam for a week and I’ve already failed it once. I get an 85+ on both sections on the simulated exam. And then I took my exam and got a 64. I feel like the actual exam questions are so much harder than all the ones I’m studying. What do I do?
Ha first of all don’t get down on yourself. The test questions are tricky. I failed the test twice! Have rarely admitted that buts it’s true. The exam is harder but really the problem is just in your head. I’ve probably hired 500 insurance agents in my time. Over half of them fail the first time. Just gotta go back and study a bit more. Put in the work. Nothing worth it is easy or else they all would be doing it. Promise you it’s worth it. Study, take a breath and go back and Ace it! And you better tell me when you do!!!

Hi, do questions come randomly from random chapters or they chose one chapter and give the questions (depends on the waitage)from that chapter and then another chapter ?

I passed the life part but for some reason I just can't seem to pass the health part and I have taken the exam 3 times tomorrow will be my fourth and I have studied for 2 weeks plus everyday since the first exam. Idk why I am having suck difficulty with the health part. I'm using examfx to study from and take the quizzes and have even did several practice exams and passed those several times. It's just so frustrating lol as to y I can't pass the actual exam.
Forget the practice exams at this point. The questions are probably just screwing w you at this point. Cram the material tonight, get a good night sleep, study for an hour in the morning, then quit fkn around and pass it!!!😎 text me after!!!

no matter how much im reading I am BORED. I keep doing these practice tests and fail every time. I wrote down literally the whole chapters, ive read them out load multiple times; i can't remember what I read. Each practice exam I get 75% them go back and do it again ill get 43% this is sooo stressful. I don't think this is for me

Exam FX cost about 100.00 but is an online study guide with practice test. That’s what my people have always used. Good luck

What is the requirements when you reapply for your license? Do you have to take the test again?
Typically you have to do cont Ed over next three years. If you don’t do that then yes you will have to retake test

I passed my practice exams with 80’s and still failed twice.
Don’t feel to bad. This happens to over 40%. The problem is that the questions are worded like a DOT test not that you don’t know your stuff. Put it behind you and get rescheduled!!

Failed it twice n pissed, literally 20% of the questions made no sense to the rest of the content ive studied
Felt like preparing did more harm than good theyll just give you questions that don’t make sense. Studied nearly 100 frickin hours n failed twice
