Good morning from Cape Cod 🦈 now that is one proper looking suburban with the lift and the tires and wheels. My first truck in 1982 was a 71 k3500 GMC, the only drawback was it had a piss ant 307 😂 that's okay though it ran for 216,000 miles. Keep up the great work and the awesome content 👍✌️🇺🇲

I really like your way of describing the situation of going w/blocks not springs per checkbook allows you too. I don't believe in blocks ANYWHERE !!!! They are killing machines. Sold a truck back 20 years ago to a wild ass kid he was going around a sharp corner on blacktop road to a party ---the blocks kicked out , truck rolled over three times (2) kids killed in the cab and (1) kid killed in the box sitting on a home made Blazer seat. So thank you very much---LOVE YOUR VIDEO BUD!!!!!!!!!! Jim

So 1 accident 20 years ago makes you not believe in blocks anywhere? Sounds like a wild ass kid was speeding around a sharp corner and rolled his truck killing him and 2 of his friends. That was really dumb of the 1 kid to be setting in the back in the first place. I'm not saying the blocks didn't kick out, but it was probably from the truck rolling over 3 times because there is no way you know those blocks kicked out causing the accident. Unless you were following them and saw it happen. In my 33 years of wrenching I have never seen a properly installed block "kick out" even in some serious off-road applications. So why blame the blocks and not the kid? 🤷🏼‍♂

My 70 C/10 Suburban has a 7 cylinder 307, too....but i found a sweet 283 from a local junk yard. The motor swap went really easy... this was in 1980.. motor cost me $125.00...!!

I drive by your shop every day. Somebody there has got money. I have a pretty good idea what parts cost today. I see new stuff there every week. Good for you.

Was this truck power steering to begin with or no? I have a 67 pickup 4x4 and from what I can find they wasn’t offered with power steering mine has a funny looking manual steering box
I’d like to make mine power steering if so 👍🇺🇸

No power steering boxes on the 4x4 trucks till 1969…
This Burb is actually a 1968 1/2 ton body that was swapped on a 72 3/4 ton 4x4 pickup chassis many years ago.

That looks way better, I would be digging that 350 out and getting it installed. I would be driving that daily and scaring the little EVs.
