Hey Ryan my Cloud Alpha just came in from Amazon yesterday and my computer is down and neither does my phone have a 3.5 and the dongle was on back order, so all I had for listening was my 10 yr old ipod nano and man, these sent shivers all over and they were more than loud enough. Couldn't have been happier. Couldn't wait to try on my Sound Blaster Z. My question for you right now is do you think it would make much and positive difference, in terms of sound, if I was to swap in some Brainwavz angled pads. I've heard people say whether they work out is highly dependant on the headset and I've seen your vids on the swap and was wondering why you hadn't bothered with those. I plan on using these mainly for listening and fps gaming judging by the extra rear thickness not sure if they would flex the body a little too much, or even make enough difference comfort or sound wise. Your thoughts?
my experience is if you change the pads, you probably wont get as good of a tuning from the headphones. So unless you really find it uncomfortable, I would just use the stock pads. I never tried the brainwavz angled pads so im not sure how those would change the sound. I have tried the Hyperx Cloud Alpha S pads on the cloud alpha, because they were larger and more comfortable. But in the end i just went back to the stock pads because I liked the tuning better.
@@ryanhostudio That totally answers my question. I looked at them all logi/astro, razer, steelseries, senheisser/drop before narrowing it down and the Hyper X line is REALLY good. All their headsets are good. I don't know which is your go to for Valorant but I do alot of battlefield and there's gunshots, footsteps, vehicle noises, all manners of explosions and projectiles, the sound of structures crumbling and people crying out for medics often all going on in one scene. Let's see how these fare in imaging. Your videos have been great help. Thx Ryan.
hey! thanks for the vid! Can you help me decide the best for gaming? Cloud stinger 2 Sennheiser gsp 300 razer blackshark v2 x razer kraken x samson sr850
hyperx cloud stinger has more natural sound it is rated 7.5 on rtings and hyperx cloud stinger 2 is rated 7.4. I've heard from many people that stinger is better than stinger 2 what do you think? i can't decide which one to buy
hey Ryan, I was going to buy new headset for gaming. I was planning on buying the Drop + EPOS Pc38x. Would you recommend that headset for that price or a different headset for around the same price.
Hey im just wondering if its possible with the alpha s to plug the 3.5mm jack directly into my pc's motherboard or do i need a splitter cable to split the 3.5mm cable into a mic cable and a audio cable?
@Ryan Ho but I have the original stinger and the pleather pads are done like there falling apart so I was like I will get the core but I heard they sound worse so idk probably go for the stinger 2
Damn im super jealous right now for some reason the price is 99 dollars at HyperX and Amazon, but tbh im still gonna buy it,if it isnt on this sale its probably gonna take a while before i get to some discounts
2k subs only my man you're goated keep it up ❤
thanks!!
