    You have no idea how much this is gonna help. I bought my first pattern and it said to do spike stitches all around and I was lost! Thanks to your video I’ll be able to complete my project. Thank you!!

    I love this type of stitch.......and I am thoroughly enjoying your way of teaching......makes it seem so simple......I guess I am a intermediate crocheter......but once I get it into my head to do something.....I keep at it until it makes me happy........thank you for your teaching........you are an excellent teacher......

    It would be easier to see if you didn't use such dark yarn. I like the lesson

    Hi tamara... what is the difference of spike stitch and extended stitchm

    • @mooglyblog
      @mooglyblog  6 лет назад

      Hello! Extended stitches are usually worked by pulling through one loop at the beginning of the stitch before finishing the stitch as usual, resulting in a slightly taller stitch. Here is an example: ruclips.net/video/1OAthpj5Ddo/видео.html However, in crochet, there are lots of people using different names for the same things, so I wouldn't be surprised if someone out there was using "extended" interchangeably with "spike".

    Would have been better if you had used a lighter colored yarn.

    mine says spike stitch over next stitch what does that mean?

    • @mooglyblog
      @mooglyblog  3 года назад

      You'll need to read through the special stitches section and notes to be sure, but it sounds like you work a spike stitch in the next column of stitches - but I don't know from your description how far down!

    Working with the dark yarn is not clear to see.
