Thank you so much for the second way to do the picot. I am just getting back into crocheting and had started a project and ripped it all out because I realized I had misread the pattern. Just as I was ready to restart I cut my thumb pretty bad and was having a very difficult time with the slip stitch. I decided I was unable to continue when I got to the picot. Then I started wondering how you pronounce picot. In looking that up I happened on this video. Life saver. I am slower with my messed-up thumb but I can do it! Also I think it looks better!
thank you so much, the second way is literally the best way I've ever seen on youtube, it produces amazing results, I like to do my picots on scalloped edges and the extra point really helps accentuate the scallops, thanks, have a beautiful day
This was so helpful! I really appreciate the two options.
Very nice and clearly demonstrated. Just the right pace too. Thank you! 🙂
Thank you!

Just finishing a blanket to donate and this is perfect boarder! Ty
wow... how many hours you works to donate blanket? I wish also to donate but to make just 1 single blanket take so much time that I renounce as to be useful one should make many blankets.. to make a blanket it would take me months... it's more fast to buy a blanket than make it... that's the problem that Impede me to make wool items to donate... the difficulty and time it's more to make an item manually than to buy one already ready.... >
@@midlightfair6495 it took a while, probably 4 months. I just worked on it when I could. Dont set a time limit or you won't enjoy it. Also, some animal shelters will take small sized blankets and those are quicker and great for scraps!!
THANK YOU!! I’ve watched many videos trying to figure out how to do this stitch. Yours is the best!! And I appreciate that you’ve given two methods.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much for your tutorial, brilliant, it helped me a lot ❤️
This worked perfectly for dinosaur teeth on a hat I'm making! Thanks!
I haven’t made picots this way before. I’ve only done it through the two bars in the sc.
This was so helpful! Thank you :)
Glad it was helpful!
thanks so much for your simple yet clear tutorial, both ways look great!
Thank you for such a great tutorial!
I really like the look of using the single crochet. I'm looking at a pattern that uses the picot stitch to join motifs. Would you have any feedback on using this stitch but doing it while joining another picot?
Thanks for the great tutorial. Your explanation was so clear and easy to follow!
Glad it was helpful!
THANK YOU
Got it!
I tried these very good. Am new voukd you help me please to make the attached picture edging? Can't figure it out. Thanks.
Good tutorial but I wish I knew how you turned the corners if you want to go all the way around.
Learned stitch from you. Hope you got my picture if how to.
OK I love this stitch is it possible to do it on every search or do you have to skip stitches
You could but it might get bunched up. You might try just one st in between.
@@HeartHookHome ok ty
Good tutorial:)
Thank you for explaining it so well 🫶🏼
Tks for sharing this with us
Nice
incredible!! I never thought to use the single crochet before... it almost 'fills in' the space inside of the picot and gives it a lovely lush volume. definitely integrating this into my practice now!! thanks for the great tutorial!
super helpful thank u so much!
Great demonstration, very helpful!
Thank you!!
Thanks!!! I was just trying to remember if you do a slip stitch or a single crochet, and now I know my options and what they look like ✨Great quality demo

👍💙💐🌹
Very much appreciated but you left me hanging. Making it around the corner is sacring me to death🙃. Being self taught I must follow instructions and or tutorials to the letter. Please and thank you.
Why does it take a whole minute to get to the point? Everything else is fine. Thank you.
