- The Picot Stitch is a classic crochet stitch that is commonly found in lace designs, but can also be worked in those projects with thicker yarn as well.
A free written copy of this crochet stitch pattern can be found on my website: richtexturescr...
For this tutorial I will be using a 5 mm crochet hook and a little bit of a worsted weight yarn.

This stitch is fun! I once was trying to make a picot hat but I made it too small for adult size. It just became a bowl cozy.
😂❤😂
I think this is such a lovely stitch. Whether to edge an item or in the middle of an item
Yes, I use this lovely stitch on my favorite shawl pattern. Makes a nice edging. 🤗👏
Thank you ❤
Very nice instructions easy to follow Thank you😊
Beautiful! I like the whole sample you are using to show us how to complete the picot stitch. Can you show us that pattern in a tutorial ? ❤ please
Awesome 👍🏾 thank you
I love it! And the sample you used to demonstrate the picot, that stitch is beautiful. What is the name of that stitch? ❤
What is the stitch under the Pico stitch? It is gorgeous.
What is the name of the main stitch in the body of your sample, before picot? It's gorgeous too! Yy
How would you work the corners if your going all the way around. It's a beautiful stitch and thank you for showing us it.
When I reached the corner stitch I would work an sc, picot, sc all into the corner stitch and then continue as before on the side :)
Thank you
Where can I get this pattern
❤
Why does your video start in black & white? It hurts my eyes & is not as defining as colors. Ty for posting, however!
Thanks for the feedback. I did show the sample in a grey yarn before switching to a coloured yarn for the demonstration. I’ll keep this is mind about the grey
