- Travelling around the outback, it isn't obvious there are somewhere around 80 ghost towns in the goldfields of Western Australia. The gold rush years helped to open up the state of WA. The hardships they faced in those days are difficult to understand, maybe this video will help.

Yes, it is. Tourist season is full on and well reflected in the food prices. But the weather is really nice. High twenties on average.
