Thank u so much for a 66 yr old woman who used to be a little savy but with lack of not using technology as before i have forgotten many things. So i just my A12 that i loved but with time it wasn't working properly needed change. And when you purchase a phone at a store most representatives are only interested in making the sale. They don't help you with showing you about the settings, some even get annoy at you for asking to help you.I almost told the young lady at T-Mobile to give me my money back and keep their phone, luckily this other representative came to help me switch my apps but i was tired and didn't want to ask her to help me with the settings. Manager called out we're about to close. Thank you so much for sharing this video you made.

That's a great price for this phone (8gb RAM too). I'm loving the phone so far. I'd had my previous phone for 5 years, so it feels like I've gone from a skateboard to a sports car.

Pro tip: Create a Samsung account, back up your settings and when you switch phones to a new Samsung, just restore the saved settings and you'll get pretty much a carbon copy of what you had in your previous device, including the wallpaper, apps folders and others.
This will save you time on configuring all of this again in your new device.

For over 10 years I put all my apps in folders. Looks very organized. You can name the maps and give them the most beautiful colors. I have never seen anyone else who does this or knows about it.
I do the same, it looks pretty cool too
I also do that. I make them unique colors that are customized. I love it too.
I do that as well. It's nice to group apps together. The only thing is you gotta remember what's where. Labeling it's a relevant name related to what's in there helps a lot.

@@alirezakhoshbakhtian That's a good point except I believe all phones do that. I know for a fact Apple does cause my cousin has an iPhone SE (the one that looks like a 8) and he has folders. I'm sure other android phones do as well.
Awesome video... am having trouble even moving widgets. Wont let me easily move it. The locked setting is off... call me old... but sometimes ... less is more.

Not possible. It ultimately depends on the carrier or the app you're using (if you're not calling via phone dialer using SIM)

Are you considering a versus with a flagship Samsung? It would be awesome to see such a comparison
It's pretty close, depending on what you're doing. For high end video editing you're probably better off with a flagship through. However having an SDCcard slot is a deal breaker for me, love it because I don't save anything into the cloud who knows where and who has access to it.
About the wifi calling: usually the wifi calling comes with every phone with a sim card installed but you just have to enable it through quick toggles or phone settings (i have it on my galaxy s20 5G unlocked)
Is there any way we could sort apps alphabetically in the home screen? Or is it only possible in the app drawer?
you can create more pages by moving one icon to the right edge and it will move icon to new page that is created
works for home page or app page
you also can add one more icon to very bottom

I have a question actually and I can't find answer to it anywhere.
When I take pictures with front camera and then open them, they change, like they load for a second and then my face is smoothened in a way? I thought it's a face filter, turned it all off but it still does it and it annoys me so much, because when there's not enough light or slightly too much motion my photo gets a lot of those poor quality thick squares.
Also when I do pictures super close to my face they all are just blurred. Is that something with a front camera focus issues?
I've used it for one day so far and am happy. My battery would typically be around 60% at the end of the work day and today I was at 86%. So far so good.
does this phone play youtube video at 4k resolution without lagging?

@sandeepdatta1624 I couldn't get stats for nerds to show dropped frames but manually setting it to 2160p on my home wifi running at 331mbps, it played smooth with no stutters.

I'm fairly happy with this phone apart from 1: the default video player isn't as good as older versions. However, the most annoying thing is 2: No master volume, i.e. I can turn down the media volume to a level I want, then look at another reel or video and the volume is way up high again. Have Samsung done this because of pressure from advertisers so ads are always loud?

Great video! I got this phone started today, but I can't get the phone to detect the SD card... I tried everything. The phone is brand new, the SD card is brand new (Samsung Evo card - I specifially asked from Samsung whether this card would work with this phone and they said yes). I updated the software and apps; inserted the card multiple times, it snapped to the tray without a problem, I restarted the phone several times, yet nothing...I don't know what else to do...

I had a note 9 like two or three years ago now and the specs are somewhat similar, however what I don't like is the fact that you can't just use a USB C to HDMI, which would be quite nice when trying to play Albion online

@MiaHessMusic I'm not sure. I haven't had any luck with the things I do have, and tried the Samsung converter, that supports dex(think it was called dex.) On note 9, to no avail. It's hit or miss online with the information also. A lot of people are saying it isn't possible because they used usb 2.0 instead of 3.0, most likely to cut costs and also make the phone A bit crappies, so people fork out more money for the more expensive model.

Nice video. I just got my A54 to replace my A51. The phone updated to Android 14 so I was almost totally lost. A lot of changes between what you were showing and what I had. I think you were using Android 12.

- Can i (if yes how?) disable swipe to unlock without face recognition etc.? So when i press the button on the right it immediately asks for my PIN instead of swiping first

With bluetooth turned on i am not able to get a notification sound from the phone. Will tell my watch or whatever have i have hooked to it there a work around to make it also make the notification sound on the phone in this mode.
One question,with the auto optimisation setting on,will your phone keep restarting when not in use?e.g. you go to bed in the evening,will it keep restarting the whole time till morning hour's?or How does it play out?thanks
No it will restart when you are not using it for a long time for example at night when you are sleeping.

if this phone had a snapdragon chip that was more power efficient or even if they improved their own exynos chip it would be perfect
another good thing to during your work hours put on airplane mode to prolong your battery life just another good tip for everyone or when youre finished using it, I use airplane mode during work hours and when I am finished using my phone while I put it in my pocket. battery life during airplane mode will last a whole day or two. I don't have this cell phone yet and it may very depending on battery but yeah I hope this helps.
I want to be able to take a picture. Then select move to album. Then it moves to album and is no longer in my general pictures. My old Samsung did that until a few updates ago. Now my brand new A54 still keeps the pic in my pictures gallery. So, it is just copying the pic to the album and not moving it.

Hi! I just bought this phone. I am struggling with sound controls because on my Xiaomi I got use to being able to control the sounds of my phone so easily. What I miss right now is to be able to turn down the volum while the screen is locked, or to mute my phone while I have my screen locked.
Is there maybe an option I haven't found to allow volume control while the screen is locked?

hi i have problems with my new phone. When i bought it, the camera starts flashing with pink lines and pink background. I dont know whats wrong with it
So I do have a question like on my games and ap it seems like if I use them then go away for sometime or say 10-20 seconds and go back to the ap it recents. Any way to fix that ? For example I do pokemon go then do door dash so when I get an order I stop playing pokemon go then go back to that ap and it completely restarts which sucks lol is there a way to fix that.

Can you make app screen scroll down not more pages is ugly and no brainer. My old google pixel 5a have perfect app screen scroll down. And always put on Home screen bottom last used apps so it's not fixed app staying there also is perfect solution. It's there option like this on a54?
Hi Jimmy Sorry to bother you but I received the One UI 5.1 update on my A53 but then there was a feature to edit control panel grid later it just vanished from the settings and it reset the panel back to default I would like to know if its a bug or it's a feature on the S series only that's why it got taken out .

While some people like dark mode, an AMOLED screen can burn-in more easily than with a light theme because there's more contrast between lit and unlit areas. Yep, I learned it the hard way. ;)
@@BillAnt That's incorrect. The primary culprit for burn-in is the blue pixel. Contrast has nothing to do with it and you really have to work hard at it in this day where screen dimming is a default standard on phones.
@@desertfrag- My own personal experience showed otherwise. The best one can do to save AMOLED screens is to set it at about 50% brightness on both light or dark themes. It can make a big difference to avoid premature burn-ins.

Thanks for posting this. Would you please answer a technical question about this phone? I've had this A54 for about 3 months now and I just noticed that the Message+ Image Search icon no longer appears in the "Attach Media" option when I select (+) to add an image (i.e. - GIF, Video, MEMEs) from online. The only options now are "Glympse", "Places" , "Replies", and a couple of others. How do you retrieve that blue-colored Search button that was originally in there?

I can't stand adaptive brightness. I don't go outside on my phone a lot so I don't need it on. Love dark mode, but when I'm inside it's not bright enough. Also the blue light filter is a must.

Its super easy to obtain all the same info in these videos yourselves by simply going through every setting and subsettings one by one and read into what changes will take effect. Thats all these guys do!!
