- @pewology took pity on me and gave me a new copy of SR4. I owe my life to that person. So what is this video about? Well I just ramble on and on about this cool mod and that's pretty much all I do. Actually it's not surprising that the streets of rage game is in 3d because the boss kept the same clothes on. Did anyone else wonder how the boss kept the same appearance while in the 2d game?

They also have a pretty sensitive body slider so how can they make a sprite that matches the exact body size that you choose?
I noticed that the 2d sprite had all the small details I was like wow

I got a game breaking glitch with this mod. So here I am, teleporting around, exploring areas. Then I wanted to go to the ship to change time of day. So here I am and... There's 2 dead bodies on the floor: Pierce and Ben King. Everyone else is gone and I can't even use the computer to change the time of day. That's so frustrating.. Seems like I have to start from the beginning...

Yes! It plays exactly like the console version. All I had to do was plug in my controller and it works right away.
One cool feature of Sandbox+ that you may not have realized is that vehicles will teleport with you. So, you can get in, say, a Mongoose, then go offroading with it in the Zero Saints Thirty cutscene area. :)
I had like 20 minutes of footage I cut down of me exploring all the areas. There's so much cool stuff to do, so I might!
i have discovered that some things in saints row 4 that are only temporarily in the world like mission start nodes can be spawned back in by doing a similar thing that is used to spawn in the mayors office in saints row 3. somehow certain specific spots under steelport if flown through will trigger things to spawn back in after they were despawned from completing what it was spawned for. freeroaming in other simulations might be possible without mods because of this.
I'm using it as a coaster for my drinks.

I actually already knew that the SOR map was in 3D, I noticed that a lot of the sprites were moving more fluidly than others and I thaught that was weird on its own, but than I started playing around with cheat codes and found the ASCII Mode, it took me a while but I figured out how they did it.

The thing you can do is plug in your monitor to say, A F***ING 90" INCH TV! and then play with this mod... ahhh the wonders of today
i think what they did with the pixelated simulations they add some filters and gave you gat as a canpanion so they had to remove the canpanion icon. they also added animations.
Well yeah it was filtered 3D... Don't you guys know how much work it would be to do all that animation with actual sprites? That would have been a massive investment of time for Volition. It wasn't like The Stick of Truth, where the 2D retro section of the game is 8-bit quality with few animations.

If you unlock a super homie and recruit them, save the game and load it they'll spawn without their super outfit or powers
Maaan,I could tell there was something up with that Gat stage,since EVERYONE's character looks the same as they do while playing the normal game,I could tell that it was simply the 3D model with a Pixel effect.

even tho the earth exploded i know people who don't do the campaign so when you beat the game you should be able to roam the earth freely

Volition should totally hire IdolNinja. Saints Row 2 on PC is now my favorite game ever, and 3 and 4 are even more awesome than before thanks to him.

I think you should start doing some glitches, secrets, and easter eggs for gta 5 seeing how people have already found some pretty cool stuff hidden in gta 5. Thumbs up if you think flippy should do some videos on gta 5.
A glitch in Saints Row IV makes trash cans fly towards you and knock you over when you jump really close to them unless you have the Immovable Object upgrade.

doesnt matter, SR2 is still the best.
and sometimes in SR4 you are forced to go back to the dashboard because sometimes the controls stop working.

There's a glitch in SR2 that allows you to go in gat's house.

No, that's actually not how it works...
+LividDead LD It does work that way for a lot of games. And again, LOTS of other 3D games don't make sprites for special sequences.

Yeah, PC gaming is totally awesome. I wouldn't say better, though maybe I would. The only downside with it is if you do want to mod then there will always be a chance the game will exit out.
Totally not Saints Row related, but take Skyrim for example. You can't have a perfect game with +100 or so mods without it locking up.

He HAD it for Xbox, but his disc was so corrupt and broken and GameStop wouldn't take it back. So he got it for PC.

Oh,Flippy,about you thinking that the streets of saints was 2D,there's a glitch that already proved it was 3D,a lot of times the second player's animations and fighting style will change from the 2D ronin fight style to the 3D normal world fighting style wich sucked ass in that simulation

I found a weird mystery. if you do the non customizable vehicle glitch to alien police car(assert) and go to the options for body mods and it says hydraulics. Idk if it works or not but i noticed it.

I was plAying at the saints of rage place with somebody and I called the dominatrix and she came and was fighting regularly and killing the people but then she just disappeared or went off screen

You got a new copy of SR4. One that doesn't glitch. We were expecting videos. Or at least say why you're not making any videos. Because we thought a new copy would mean more videos but apparently no.
Yo flippy I am playing saints row 2 and wow man I am starting to see all of your points but 10 times more with experience. The game has aged well. Your right the npc's all look diferent, the city is memorable and the story is more worked on. But your complaining about 3 not being realistic but this one has ninjas, and so on. My problem is they say you came from an explosion. You have no scars, no plastic surgery. You look perfectly fine.
This all could have been simply explained with the smoke of the fire got him unconscious and he was hit so hard by the blast he got in a coma. Anyways my point is the game never has had a good concrete story. The story has a always been about having fun.
My 2nd point is being a president is being a gangster/ mobster. Remember america was founded on the blood and taking over of native land and the use of African slaves, and the crooks then try to the history books how its all about equality and diversity. Not only that but some presidents were actually connected to mob organizations. So from a historical standpoint being a president the biggest crooks and swindlers like George Bush who passed the patriot act to spy and companies in on it so he gets paid, and went to a foreign country to get oil and lied to the people, and Ronald Regan who did alot of bad things. Being a president is being plenty of a gang banger.The use of propaganda to bring people in the military and make it seem right to kill. You think in this so called future people could actually discuss things rationally but no people use people as pawns for dominance. You have a legalized police and military system that will do what you say. Back then they use them to stop protestors and even hispanic and African American parades. So yeah research history and you will see. Assassin's creed tries to show a lil bit on what I'm saying but I've actually read before playing these games. That's why when I heard about 4 I was like hmm makes sense.

Sorry for the question but I've also asked on the Saintsrowmods page, I can't seem to activate my installed mods. I have the files placed as was suggested in the readme for the Sandbox and flying mod...yet neither mod seems to do anything in my game, none of the features seem to be activated/working...any ideas?
