We have the same model. You should know that the TV may fall off the bracket if you hit bumps. It's a flaw in the TCL TV frame. The Back panel of the TV will sheer away from the main body / screen area. You can re-enforce this by using a short bunngi cord. Hook each side to the bottom of the main screen. There indents there just behind the face. Have it suspended over the top of the metal swing arm. This helps to support the weight while going down the road. Thanks for the video.
You both did the best job I’ve seen online touring through your camper trailer. Turning on lights, flushing the commode, showing how the stove works, opening the awning, etc. Thank you so much. 😃
This wS one of the Best Travel Trailer Videos I've Seen! I always watch h Josh's videos. I've been contemplating buying a RV Travel Trailer for three years now. What made your video so interesting is that he actually showed how the water flushes, the outside doors open & she demonstrated flushing the commode, how large the shower, how not to break your eggs, and how to use your storage areas wisely! Very Informative, Helpful and a Very Good Job. Thanks.
Just wanted to say, I don’t normally leave comments on anything. However, I just wanted to let y’all know if you are planning on doing more videos like this please continue to produce the same type. Video appears to be straightforward. Your video was informative from what I could tell, and I appreciate it. Thank you.
I am so happy I found your video. We just purchased this trailer and are heading out on a "100 day adventure" in September. I will review more of your videos for tips since we have never trailered before. Thanks
**Realized after I posted this that the trailer width is NOT 10 ft!! I got that mixed up with the height and wanted to clarify! Here are the timestamps: 0:22 - General specs 1:12 - Before & after of the kitchen 2:38 - Murphy bed 3:46 - Before & after of the lounge area + cool features 5:20 - Kitchen tour 11:36 - Thermostat 12:00 - Bathroom tour 14:02 - Exterior features Don't forget to give this video a LIKE if you enjoyed! Thank you!!
Great review of your travel trailer, one of the best I’ve seen...you two have a knack for this! It was very thorough and you hit all the features and points like pros. Great choice in product! Enjoy your journeys
Grand designs appears to have great floor plans for their smaller trailers. Thanks for the video and sharing your additions and mods AFTER you’ve used it awhile. Lot of new video reviews out there. Go enjoy life you two.
That is an amazing floor plan for a smaller trailer. We have a GD 19RLE. We had a heck of a time deciding between the 17MKE and the 19RLE that we purchased. Still love both models. We are obsessed with our Imagine as well, awesome rigs. One upgrade we did was replacing the window in the door with one you can actually see through. It also has a blackout blind to give privacy when needed. Enjoy and have fun.
The magnetic knife racks are great, but you may learn that it would be better to have the handles up and the blades pointed down - that way they won't "slide" down as you go over bumps. Also, keep any liquids in your cabinets (like cleaners, etc.) in bins that will hold liquid if the bottles break or spill while traveling. Ikea is a great place for things that work well in RV's. Cheers!
Oh fun! Little lights over the slide!!!❤ love it! It's hard to picture decorating a trailer, you have done a wonderful job! You have given me many ideas!❤
Well done kids!!! Extremely informative and so appreciated. I've been searching for awhile n this helped. SAFE TRAVELS & hope to meet yall on the road!
I want take a opportunity you 2 lovely couple to how to organize a camper better you'll have good ideas I've been camping over 45 years my wife and I Got a new camper we've been organize it better then the old one we had. Thanks again Hope you make more you tube we love watching Thank you and be Safe.
Great tour. Think I'll find a used one and remodel it. First I'd remove the Murphy bed and install a 50" TV there then remove the recliners and get two actual recliners that can be turned toward the new TV.
Thank you for pointing out the pass through hole for the hose and tv cable. I’ve watched so many videos on this trailer and no one mentioned that pass through. I’m new to RV’s and was wondering if I would have to leave that door open when hooked up.
Awesome high quality superbly edited walk thru!! Of all the smaller TT my wife and I have looked at, this one is my favorite design/layout. The countertop space is incredible!!
Enjoyed so much seeing your travel trailer first hand and meeting you Crosby. Be safe as you head out again on the road. You two will be in my thoughts and prayers! Much love. 💙❤️
Thank you for the straight forward review....very informative and no wasting time goofing around like most people do in these videos.. pleasure to watch and not have to forward through anything irrelevant! :-)
Really enjoyed your review and modifications. We are seriously considering this floorplan and loved some of your ideas and comments about what you have done. Well Done!
Holy crap Amazing video, Perfectly well done. I believe you guys convinced us to buy it. If you do more in this trailer I would love to see it Thanks so much.
Good review....It's easy to tell that you guys are nuts about your new unit! Just an FYI...the width of your trailer is 8 feet maximum, thus your front pass through storage is 8 feet or a little less...not 10 ft. 11 inches. But you're learning fast. Enjoy your travels....
I also had eggs fly out of the refrigerator !! A mistake I will never forget and hopefully never do again. 31 eggs busted all over my floors and slid under cabinets. 🙄what a mess!! Newbie to camping and first of many lessons.🤪
Thanks for the walk-through. Love the upgrades. Picking mine up tomorrow. Happy to hear about the cold weather package keeps the trailer warm. Safe travels!
Crosby great video wow..we're searching rt.now, Your model w/Murphy bed is so spacious..... wow! Thx. for the tour...very sharp, nice tip on the tile backsplash..makes it homey....safe travels.. 🌵Phx.Az.
I really like the layout of your home. I like that you have so much counter space in your kitchen. I just like the package. Thanks for sharing your video.
Hello Crosby, hope you are doing well. Great video, it helped us in making our decision on our MKE. Can you leave a link for your hanging bar for your herbs? Ty
We just made a deal on a 2022 17MKE - will be picking it up in a few days - super excited! Love your little fairy lights. I had a few sets of those up in our Rpod and will be putting them up in this trailer too. Great tour!
Congratulations! My husband and I are trying to get in a place where we can travel and work so we can go full-time, for a few years, at least. The touches you added look great!
Love what you did to make it your own looks so cozy!! Can you tell me what fairy lights you purchased around the theatre seating area and where you purchased them?
I have a Daughter your guys age., thinking of doing the same. You only live once enjoy your travels and stay safe You and Dillion are learning together have fun I’ll be watching !🙏🏼👍🏼
Saw the trailer then your review and just purchased one! Can't wait to take it out. Our only caveat is that seems you can't close the slide outs with the bed down. We would like that for a quick overnight. Very happy with our purchase nonetheless.
How are ya'll liking the rv? How much did you get your deal for and dealership.? Looking to purchase first ever rv. Have heard horror stories on purchase. Thanks for your help!

That dish drainer is awesome! Nice job, thanks for the inspiration...we just ordered a GD Imagine xls 22mle. Definitely going to get the stick on tile. Please post an update as to how it is doing...Thanks!
Outstanding job with your review of your trailer. I enjoyed your presentation. You just might have me sold on this model. I will be subscribing to view your adventures. Safe travels.
This is the hands down best RV Tour the model is the perfect kind all the other tours are of crazy big and pricey RVs or van remodels you showed use every thing but it was not long and boring and you explained just the right amount of Technical stuff and I love your RV! But how much did it cost?
@@CrosbyGraceTravels Did your husband put the solar panel on the roof? We had 400 watts on our last trailer and that is one of the first outside projects. Of course the inside takes priority. 😊
Hello! We are currently looking at an Imagine but one with a bunkhouse for our kiddos. I looooooove the personal details/customization you did to make it feel more homey and personal. Love your ideas!
We looked at this one and the 22RBE. We went with the 22RBE because hubby wanted separate bedroom and the bigger bathroom. Still, love the 17MKE. We also tow with our Grand Cherokee Trailhawk with the 5.7L HEMI. We stay in the flatlands here in SE Louisiana and small hills of SW Mississippi. We would get a bigger tow vehicle if we planned to go to where there are bigger hills than in SW Mississippi, but for now, it's like the the camper isn't even back there. A good WDH with sway control is a must, which I see y'all have.
What kind of range are you getting with your jeep? Crosby and I are averaging between 9-10 mpg when we have our fresh water tank full and 11-13 when we have it 1/3 full.
@@DylanGorman We never have anything in the tanks when towing. The cargo capacity of the Trailhawk, due to it being a 4x4 and a HEMI, is abysmal (1,053 lbs.), so pretty much only enough wiggle room for the tongue weight and my husband and I, with our clothes and toiletries. We don't need much, so the camper is basically packed with the must-haves, and we don't get anywhere near GVWR for the trailer (UVW for ours is 5128 lbs and GVWR is 6995 lbs...we aren't even to 6000 lbs loaded, maybe 5600 lbs). Gas mileage, per my husband (who does the driving) is around 11-12 mpg. Would be a little higher if I drove because hubby has a heavy foot and I usually range 2 mpg more than he does.
That was an excellent review! The only thing that seems to be missing yes, slam latches on the doors outside. Otherwise this thing is just about Perfect.
What kind of jobs do yall have to hold down on to live this lifestyle? What type of parks do you typically stay in - state, federal, mom and pop, or club member site? Do you typically use the waste tanks to save money on the cheaper campsites?
The specs say this camper is 8ft wide so I’m wondering how the storage passthrough is 10’11” wide? Did I read the specs wrong? We are trying to figure out if it will fit in our yard so accurate width is important. This was a great tour of the MKE17, nice camper!
